Glory gave him a kiss.

"I'm just going to be out on the beach, so you won't have to look far," she said. She checked on the twins one last time before heading outside to see if anyone was there.

Normally, the occupants of the area near the beach would steer clear when they heard a car approach the house. This time, Archie was waiting in the shallows somewhat hesitantly. He had Eden in his arms--she was starting to get bigger and bigger. Probably giving Damon a break from her.

Glory went across the rocks to her favorite one and sat down. It was much easier now that she mostly had her balance back, and the only one that would be effected if she slipped was her.

Archie popped up out of the water, grinning cheerfully. Eden was disturbed by suddenly having to breathe in air, but she settled down momentarily. She was a fussy child, just like Orion was. "Hi!"

"Hey to you, too," Glory replied. She grinned. "You have a niece and a nephew."

As Léan had suspected, Archie's reaction was a little toned down because he himself was not there. He did squeal and hold Eden out to give to her, so he could swim in rapid, frenzied, hyper circles out of excitement.

Glory held Eden so that he could have his little spaz attack.

"Try to keep it down," she said. "They're sleeping at the moment. I only just got them settled in."

Archie clapped his hands around his mouth and continued to swim in rapid little circles, squealing wildly.

"You're not even going to ask about them?" Glory asked, settling Eden in her lap as best she could.

Archie continued this behavior for a few more minutes before he finally relaxed. Eden had fussed because Archie had cast her off from his arms, but she was relaxed now.

"...Okay, now I'm better. Tell me all there is to know!" Archie sounded a lot like a rabid fangirl.

Glory grinned.

"Their names are Autumn and Orion," she said. "They both have blue eyes and dark hair... and Orion seems to have your brother's attitude. Autumn is more easy-going, though."

"So there's no hyper child?" Archie pouted. "Eden fits that description, though. I guess more than one hyper child isn't a good thing."

Eden seemed to be a mix, attitude-wise of Léan's grouchiness and Archie's hyperactivity.

"That's alright, though," Glory said. "We don't need anymore hyperactivity around here. Anyways, the twins were both born human, so we're not sure if they'll be able to change or not."

"You can always bring them out here to test that theory," Archie reminded her, pleasantly. He was itching to see them, so whenever she wanted to bring them out, she was more than welcome to.

"It might be better to test the idea inside, where I can use warm water," Glory replied. "The cold is bad for human infants, so I'd rather try with warm water first, maybe when I give them a bath later." She grinned. "I got your brother to hold them. I'm still working on getting him to help take care of them."

"I'm surprised he didn't panic and drop them." It seemed Archie was well aware of his brother's issues with babies. His panicking issues were the worst.

"He was doing well," Glory said. "He's getting more comfortable with them, that's all I can ask for."

"I hope you aren't expecting miracles...we were both mistreated, but he was treated worse...it had more of an impact on him." Archie had always felt guilty about his twin taking the brunt of the abuse, for no real reason...

"Still, he's improved a little," Glory replied. "I got him to hold one of the twins for a little while, which is good."

"I guess...going to take a while for anything major to happen, though. Don't let him act spoiled and get his way unless there's real danger..." Archie warned, frowning. "Otherwise you won't get him to do much of anything."

"I've been working on it," Glory pointed out. "There's only so much I can do..."

Archie nodded, lowering his eyes. "...I know, I know." He cleared his throat, and then held his arms up and out for Eden. "I should get back to Damon."

Glory nodded and handed Eden back to him.

"I should be going back inside, anyways," she said. "The twins will be waking up hungry in a little while."

"All right, then." Archie cradled Eden in his arms, then waved to Glory once he was sure he wouldn't drop her. "Bye-bye!" He turned and dipped down into deeper water, off to locate Damon.

Once he was gone, Glory got up and went back inside. All was still quiet, for the moment, so she went in and checked on the twins before going to find her mate.
