Orion swatted at her hands, looking curious...in return, Eden swatted back, making an excited sort of squealing noise. She began to swim around the twins and around Glory in quick circles, chirping in very broken Rebenian.

Of course, Glory couldn't understand any of it, so she focused on making sure the twins were adjusting well enough to being in the water.

Léan was already worn out, it seemed, by Eden's hyperactivity. "...I suppose we should find a place to nest out until Arcturus and Damon calm things down," he said, finally.

Glory nodded.

"Sounds like a good idea," she said. Once they were able to settle in, she could work on taking care of the twins again. They were going to be getting hungry again soon.

"Perhaps we should try to find a place that is nice and safe with a bit of sea life crowding around it...that way the twins could learn how to swim," Léan added, brow furrowing. He didn't want to go near the coral reef, or at least the main part of it. Sharks roamed the area where the main part of the reef was.

That also sounded like a good idea.

"Alright," Glory agreed. "I'll follow you, then. Keep Eden close to you, I've got the twins."

Léan reached out and snatched up Eden, who immediately curled and cuddled up in his arms to relax. He darted his way around the rocks for a while and skirted the coral reef's main area, searching for a nice and secluded nook. He located one a little ways off--it was surrounded by a wall of semi-transparent sea plants.

Glory made sure she had both of the twins securely before following him. She wasn't sure what he was looking for, but she was sure he would know when he found it.

Léan immediately approached this area when he spotted in and peeked inside the wall of seaweed, finding a roomy cave covered with coral on the outside. "This should do."

"Alright," Glory replied. It was good that he found a place... Autumn was starting to get fussy.

Léan noticed that. "...Perhaps you should head into the cave for a bit? Eden is asleep...I can pop in quick and set her down on the floor of the cave so she can sleep for a while...then I can go out and get bedding for us..."

Merpeople usually used sea plants for bedding.

"That sounds like a good idea," Glory said. "If Autumn is getting cranky, Orion isn't far behind, so I want to get them settled before they get out of hand."

Orion was starting to get cranky. He was a bit distracted, craning his neck to try and get a glimpse of Eden. But he had the telltale reddening face of a cranky child.

Léan ducked into the cave and set Eden down on a soft patch of sand--she curled up immediately. He then turned and politely exited the cave to fetch bedding for all of them.

Glory worked on feeding Autumn first, since the girl was fussing louder than Orion was at the moment. She gently laid Orion down on a soft bit of sand, keeping an eye on him as she held Autumn to feed her.

Orion grumbled a bit when he was set down. His tail swished back and forth aimlessly. He would have to be taught how to swim properly...

Autumn immediately calmed down once she was fed. Once she was finished, Glory set her down and picked up Orion.

Orion grunted when he was picked up. He hadn't lost his temper just yet--he was fascinated by the world around him...too much. It was distracting him from everything else.

Glory noticed she was having trouble getting him to nurse, so she just held him for a little while. He would realize that he was hungry soon.

Orion glanced around for a while longer until his stomach rumbled. He suddenly realized that he was hungry and he didn't fight her anymore.

Since she was already holding him, Glory didn't have to move him to let him nurse. Every so often, she would glance at Autumn and then at Eden, to keep an eye on them.

Eden was fast asleep. The excitement of finding other people her size that she could now play with had worn her out for the moment.

Autumn was curled up asleep as well. All of the excitement from moving into the water had tired her out, so she'd drifted off into a nap. When Orion was finished, Glory laid him down next to his sister.

Orion looked tired, but he didn't settle down to sleep just yet. He was watching the mouth of the cave with his tired eyes, seeming curious about the world outside of it.

Glory settled herself down next to the children. She wasn't tired, but the rest was still welcome.

Léan returned a few minutes later with two generous armfuls of seaweed--the soft, green seaweed rather than the coarser kinds. "Where shall I spread these out?"
