Getting up, Glory gently gathered up the children.

"Wherever you like," she said, getting the children out of the way.

Léan set a big pile of the seaweed out as a bed for all three children to curl up in. He used the rest of the seaweed to make a bed for them at the back of the cave.

Glory settled the children down on the seaweed so they could nap. Then she went to join Léan.

Léan curled up in their new bed, pleased to find that it was quite comfortable. He sighed and a look of worry returned to him...he was worried about his brother.

Glory settled down with him. She could tell he was worried, and cuddled a bit closer.

"You can go and check on him, you know," she murmured.

"I don't want to get in the middle of it," Léan said, immediately. "I just wish we could find something to help with Damon's irritable attitude...his sleep loss."

"I wish I knew some way to help..." Glory said. She didn't like seeing him so worried, and she wanted to help, but she had no idea what to do.

Léan fidgeted uncomfortably. "...I suppose we could try human medicine on him. I know there are very few treatments for sleeping problems among merpeople..."

"I can see what I can find," Glory said. She wasn't sure what she would be able to get her hands on.

Léan nodded, closing his eyes slightly. "...Well...all right. I don't know what effect it will have on Damon, but it's better than letting things go as they are..."

"I'll see what I can find," Glory said. She cuddled a bit closer to him, glancing over at the children every so often.

Léan rested his head on her shoulder. Despite the fact that he could now acquire legs on land, he still seemed so much more comfortable underwater.

Glory snuggled closer and rested her head on his shoulder. He seemed much more relaxed, and that set her more at ease. He hadn't been fully relaxed for a long time, not since before the twins were born, at any rate.

Léan appeared to be somewhat comfortable around them, as long as he wasn't holding them and they weren't panicking or fussing. It was a start, at the very least...he wasn't displaying any of Betelgeuse's qualities here.

The twins were both quiet for now, and Glory figured they were both napping. Autumn was, at any rate. If Orion was still awake, then he was being quiet and was curled up with his twin and his cousin.

Orion had finally fallen asleep. He was curled up with his head resting on Autumn's arm.

Léan was relaxed for once...though he kept glancing at the entrance of the cave to make sure that nothing was trying to intrude upon their territory.

Glory rested quietly. She didn't want to completely fall asleep, just in case, but she was all for catching as much rest as she could while the children were asleep.

Léan purred softly, keeping an eye on the mouth of the cave still. He was acting as the main guard, if anything were to happen.

Glory ended up dozing off against him, although she tried not to. The children would be waking up in an hour or two, though, so she wouldn't sleep for long.

Like clockwork, Orion woke up in two hours' time and immediately began to cry and complain, thrashing his arms around. His crying was bound to wake the other two up.

Eden, who ate solid food now, just scooted farther away from him and looked annoyed.

His crying immediately woke Glory, who jumped a little. Getting up, she went over and gathered him into her arms and rocked him a bit. She figured he was either hungry or wanting attention, and either way, she could take care of it.

Autumn woke up as well when her brother started crying, but she didn't fuss like he did. She must have realize that they took turns, so she just looked around curiously and waited.

Léan whined softly, shifting a bit. He was concerned, of course...but he willed himself to stay still even though he wanted to panic. He curled up and closed his eyes to rest while she fed Orion.

Feeding the twins was becoming routine by now for Glory, so she didn't think much of it. When Orion was done, she set him down again and picked up Autumn. Autumn cuddled into her mother's arms a bit to make herself comfortable before starting to nurse.

Orion poked at Eden, curiously. He seemed quite curious about her. Eden poked him back, and the two had an awkward sort of poking fight.

Glory kept an eye on them to make sure they didn't hurt each other, but otherwise didn't stop them.
