Léan didn't want to burden her Nana any more than they had to, so he politely offered to stay back with the children while Glory went to give the sleep-aide to Archie.

Once Glory fed the children and settled them back in, she went to the cabinet to get some of the sleep-aide.

"Are you sure you're okay with staying with the children?" she asked him. "You'll have to take care of it if one of them gets fussy..."

"I...can try," Léan murmured, suddenly looking embarrassed. "If I need help, I can always ask your Nana for assistance..."

Glory gave him a kiss.

"If it's Autumn who gets fussy, chances are she just wants some attention. Holding her for a bit will help. If Orion gets fussy, it'll take longer to calm him down, but sitting down with him in the rocking chair and rocking him for a bit is the best way to calm him again. It's not complicated or difficult." She was fairly sure that the twins would sleep most of the time, though.

Léan chewed on his lip for a moment and then nodded, sighing softly. "All right...I understand. I'll try, but I can't make any guarantees that I'll be able to do it all by myself."

"Just try," Glory said. "You know Autumn doesn't mind you holding her, so that's a start right there." She gave him another kiss. "I'll be back soon."

Léan nodded and leaned by the doorway, trying to be as still and quiet as possible. He didn't want to disturb the twins or Eden.

Glory sealed the sleep-aide into a plastic bag to keep it dry until she could get it to Archie or Damon, and then went outside. It didn't take her long to find the area again, and she looked around for Archie.

Archie was lingering absently in the same area he had been before. He had been anxiously awaiting her return, it seemed. Once he caught sight of her, a big smile broke out on his face.

When Glory saw him, she handed him the bag with the chewable tablet in it.

"Here," she said. "Just be careful, once it gets wet, it'll start to dissolve, so don't take it out until you give it to Damon."

Archie took the bag and then, rather quickly, wrapped his arms around her in a cheerful hug. "Thank you sooooo much. I'll come back later with the good news...or the bad news..."

He frowned a bit, but smiled and waved before heading off to give the tablet to Damon.

Glory was surprised when he hugged her, but she didn't stop him.

"Good luck," she said. Once he was gone, she headed back towards home herself.

All three children had been quiet during her absence. Léan, understandably, was quite relieved about that. He knew that if one of them had become upset, he wouldn't have been able to deal with it...

Once Glory pulled herself out of the water, she wrapped herself in a towel and went back inside. All was quiet, which was a good sign. Quietly, she went in to check on the children. Once she was sure they were all sleeping soundly, she went into her own room.

"How were they?" she asked softly.

Léan looked up once she returned, holding out his arms for her. He had slipped some of his clean clothes on--just a simple black tank top and some gray sweatpants. "Quiet..."

Glory quickly slipped on some clothes and then went to cuddle into his arms. She liked it very much when he was affectionate with her, and it had been a while since he was.

"I just checked on them, they're still sleeping," she murmured.

Léan tugged her close, immediately enjoying their cuddling. The reason for his being distant was probably the twins. He could not often settle when they were in the room, or if they were making noise...

"Good..."

Glory immediately cuddled closer to him. She was glad he was being more affectionate; she'd missed it while she was pregnant. She nuzzled him softly, enjoying the contact.

Léan idly ran his fingers through her hair, in an almost comforting motion. It was like he was trying to apologize for the lack of affection without saying a thing at all.

Glory found it very comforting. Gently, she laid her head on his shoulder, purring softly. She wasn't mad at him for the lack of affection. She may not have liked it, but she understood why, at least a little. She cuddled as close as she could to him.

Léan echoed her purring, though his purring was understandably deeper. He laid his head on her shoulder as well, welcoming the embrace. He didn't want to move.

Glory didn't want to move, either. She was comfortable in his arms, and she felt secure. Shifting over a little, she gave him a kiss.

Léan tilted his head slightly, accepting the offered kiss. For a moment, all of his panicky concerns had melted away, it seemed...

Glory noticed how relaxed he was, and she was glad. Seeing him so tense and unhappy all the time upset her.

Snuggling close, she laid her head on his shoulder again and slowly drifted off to sleep. She wouldn't get a full nights' rest until the twins began sleeping through the night, so she was going to be short on sleep for a while.

Léan soon followed her to sleep. He was hoping they would be able to sleep for a long while this time...but he knew that hope was in vain. Those twins, and Eden, required near-constant attention.
