Léan still looked and felt a little lost, even though Archie and Damon returned after a while.

Archie gave him a hug once he shooed Damon back under the rocks--a real hug, not a clingy hug. "...I'm sorry for not paying attention to you...I didn't want to annoy you..." he offered, softly.

Léan nodded slowly, staring off into the distance. He didn't feel tired, yet. He slowly shrugged out of his brother's grasp. "I have something I need to do," he muttered, gears turning in his mind. "I won't get a lot of sleep, but...I'll be back by morning."

Archie blinked, but before he could get a word in, Léan was off, disappearing into deep, dark water. "...Huh. I wonder what he's got planned..." Shrugging, he slid underneath the rocks to join Damon for a peaceful sleep.

Glory's alarm went off early the next morning, and she was sitting up and turning it off before she really realized that she was awake. She felt more awake after a hot shower, though, and managed to get ready to go without falling asleep again. She made herself some tea on her way outside, the travel-mug in her hand steaming a bit as she got outside. Softly, she made her way out to the beach to see if anyone was awake.

Archie was awake. He had himself laid out on the beach. He looked up when Glory came out. "Hi! Léan went out late last night to fetch something...no idea what. He's been cooped up under the rocks almost all night. He's awake, though--do you want me to go get him, so you can talk to him before you leave?"

Glory was surprised to see Archie out on the sand. She hadn't really expected to see him much at all, actually.

"You don't have to bother him if he's sleeping," she replied. Her mug of tea was warm in her hands, reminding her that it was chilly out. "You do realize it's cold out here, right? At least to me?"

Archie stretched, flopping over onto his back and resting his head on his arms. "I think the weather's nice, actually!" he replied cheerily. "Léan's awake. He's just engrossed in something right now...I'm curious, anyway--I wanna see if he's done with whatever he's doing. I'll go get him for you, if you want!"

Glory shrugged.

"Sure, have at it," she said. "I'm still a bit early, so I have some time to burn."

Archie's grin widened, and he wiggled his way back into the water, swiftly disappearing beneath the rocks. There was silence for a while, and then Archie re-emerged, seeming hyper, with Léan tagging along.

Léan looked dead tired, and he was. He hadn't slept, yet. He swam up slightly in the shallows, yawning. "Good morning..."

"You look like a wreck," Glory observed. "Long night?"

"Well thanks for the compliment," Léan teased, stretching his tail out. "I didn't get much sleep. I suddenly had the itch to craft again, so I scrounged up some supplies and got to work."

Léan loved to make jewelry. It was a secret little vice of his, which he'd hinted at but never really admitted until now.

"Oh?" Glory asked, interested. She sat down on one of the rocks, making sure not to get sand on her clothes. That would be a new record, getting her jeans dirty before even leaving home. Absently, she held out her mug. "Want some? Sweet tea."

Léan nodded, eyeing the tea for a moment. He took it slowly, careful not to dump it, and sipped at it, curiously. He found the taste quite good, so he took a few more small sips before placing it back in her hands.

"Mm-hm...I made a necklace and two rings. I gave the rings to Arcturus for him and Damon, which is why he is so happy...do you want the necklace? I have no use for it..."

"You'd... give it to me?" Glory asked, surprised. "Just like that?" She accpeted the mug back, letting it warm her hands. She really was surprised that he would just give her a necklace... She hadn't thought he would do such a thing, not after what Selena did...

Léan paused, then nodded. "I have no use for it, after all...I don't wear jewelry. No point in letting it go to waste..."

He held the necklace up out of the water, in one of his hands. "I insist."

"You made this?" Glory asked, holding the necklace gently. "It's beautiful..." She was starting to see though his 'I have no use for it' charade. It was a very feminine necklace, after all. She didn't think he ever had any intention of wearing it. But that meant that he had to have made it specifically for her, and she honestly didn't know why. "Are you sure I can have it?"

Léan nodded, feeling a bit of pride when she admired it. He liked having people admire his work. "Yes. I don't wear jewelry...I just felt a craving to make it, so..." He trailed off.

"Thank you, then," Glory replied. "Let me go and put it somewhere safe inside, then I have to get going. School and all that good stuff."

Léan nodded. "Sounds like a simply exciting day..." he drawled, looking like he might fall over. "I had better get some rest..."

"Go ahead," Glory replied. "You look like you could use it. I'll be back later." Getting up, she went inside and laid the necklace gently on her dresser. She looked at it for a moment more before heading out to her car and made her way to the school.

Viktor's car was there this time. He appeared to be buffing out a scratch of some sort from the back of his car.

Glory pulled up into a space not too far away and got out to examine her car. It had been making an unusuall rattling noise, and she was hoping it wasn't something bad. If it got worse, she would call an old friend of hers, but for now it wasn't bad enough to get it looked at. Figuring it would survive till the end of the day, she grabbed her bag from the back seat.

Viktor seemed to have noticed that her car was clunking along. He looked up when she walked by. "I can take a look at your car later, if you'd like to me. I'll fix it without pay."

"You don't have to," Glory replied. "It's easy enough for me to call a friend of mine... He looked after my car before I moved here, so he knows all of its little quirks. Besides, the muffler is probably just loose again."

"Mm, true..." Viktor nodded, closing his eyes. The somewhat cold weather didn't seem to bother him--he was wearing a tank top today and no coat.

"You're bizarre," Glory commented as she went past him. "It's freezing out here."

Without waiting for his reply, she went into the building, relaxing when it was warmer. Quickly, she made her way to the classroom and sat down in her spot, waiting to see what Selena and her minions would do.

Viktor chuckled, a big grin on his face, and followed her inside, unfazed by the chilly air around him.

Selena's friends were happily chatting away beside her, but Selena herself was quieter than usual, and she completely ignored Viktor when he walked in--not hanging off of him like usual. It seemed she was still upset about catching Viktor cheating. She and her friends were standing in their usual spot, by the wall near the door.
