"Hey, I liked Avatar," Glory protested softly as Trigun started. "Granted, the plot was just a re-hash, but I loved the ideas behind everything, and the special effects were amazing." Sitting back, she settled in to watch Trigun.

Selena chuckled, watching the anime with interest. She was a fan of older movies, shows, and animes. Sort of old-fashioned, television-wise.

"I think I actually missed this art style," Glory commented. "It's been a long time since I watched Trigun... I missed the stretched-out style of the art."

"Yeah...I like rougher and older-style animes, though the newer styles are nice. Sort of gives me a nostalgic feel..." Selena seemed engrossed in the show.

"Reminds me a bit of the old-school ones like Sailor Moon and YuYu Hakusho," Glory agreed. "I kind of miss those, as cheesy as they were."

"Hehe, agreed!" Selena was silent for the rest of the episode, content to just watch it. She was watching the clock carefully, though, so that there would be enough time to watch the 'greatest' movie ever. She was sure Viktor was doing the same.

Glory watched Trigun, feeling oddly nostalgic about it. Of course, she'd seen the series before, so she knew exactly what was going to happen, but she couldn't help but grin as she watched it.

Selena was enjoying herself. A smile was on her face. She'd never seen it before, and she was really enjoying it. It would be added to her list of favorites later.

"It gets better later in the series, when they actually explain things," Glory said softly as the first episode ended. "And that cat is in every single episode, somwhere."

Selena grinned. "Good! But, uh...should we stop this and turn on the movie? The movie's two hours, and I want to finish it before we land."

"Go ahead," Glory said. May as well get it overwith. Then she could say that she had seen the movie. She wasn't much into horror movies, or spoofs, so she would have to see how well she liked it.

Selena glanced over to tell Viktor, but he seemed to have had the same idea.

Viktor was busy exchanging the DVDs, almost feverishly. He adored this movie, and any chance to pop it in was, well...a chance he had to take!

Glory raised an eyebrow at the two.

"You're both weird," she said.

"Thanks a bunch. Means a lot to me." Viktor hurriedly changed the DVDs, grinning, and then plopped back down in his seat. "Everyone shut up! Rocky Horror is on!" He watched as the movie began, and the opening credits started to roll.

Glory watched the movie with a mix of fascination and strange humor. It had to be the weirdest movie she had ever seen, but it was oddly like a car accident: no matter how much she wanted to, she couldn't look away.

Selena, like Viktor, said nothing throughout the entire movie. It was far too transfixing for her to look away. She was so glad Viktor had shown her this movie...if he hadn't she would have never, ever seen it!

"That was... strange," Glory said when the movie was over. "I'm honestly not sure if I liked it or not."

"That's how I felt when I first watched it," Selena offered, grinning. "Usually, you don't get the storyline and all its perks until you watch it a second time. Audience participation is fun, though...for more advanced viewers..."

"There was a storyline?" Glory asked, baffled. "I don't think I could handle seeing it again so soon. That was the most brain-melting movie I think I've ever seen."

Selena chuckled. "Ah...well, try watching it again in a few days. There is a storyline. I can't explain it perfectly, but if you want someone to explain it to you, ask Viktor. He knows it well..."

"I think I'm good for now," Glory said. "I need to let my brain recover... Preferably on a beach chair."

"Sounds good...are you going to find a more private beach?" Selena asked, curiously. "Because...you know." She glanced at the suitcase. "There are a few beaches that people rarely go on near Viktor's summer mansion. Because they're all rocky."

"That was the plan," Glory said. The idea of a rocky beach when there were nice white-sand beaches was a little disappointing, but the sun and clear water would make up for it, she was sure.

"The sand is really nice--don't get me wrong. But there are large rocks in the water, and near the shoreline. So it's bad for swimming unless you're game for swimming around boulders," Selena offered, smiling.

"Or you make a game of it," Glory murmured in reply. That sounded absolutely perfect, actually... It sounded just like her beach back home.
