Léan shifted a bit, semi-uncomfortably, when the closeness was magnified, but he soon settled down. "I suppose we can..." he agreed, staring out into the distance.

Glory sighed a little as she watched the sunset. It was such a perfect evening...

Léan seemed content, as well. He was relaxed, and quite still--no anxious swishing of his tail, or squirming.

Reluctantly, Glory stood up as it got darker.

"I should head inside..." she said softly. "It's getting late, and I should pray that the others don't try to drag me to a bar or something."

Léan visibly deflated, but he nodded, glumly. "...You should ask Curry about transporting the shark..." he murmured, glancing out at it--it was still swimming around, catching little fish as it did so.

"I'll see what I can do," Glory replied. "I can't make any promises, though. This half-crazy scheme may not even work."

"I hope it does...it is already attached to us," Léan reminded her, quietly, as he watched it.

"Like I said," Glory replied, "I'll do what I can."

"All right..." Léan nodded, then cleared his throat and stared off into the distance, feeling an awkward silence coming on.

Leaning down, Glory gave him one more hug.

"Sleep well, alright?" she said. Then she gathered her things and headed back into the room she was sharing with Selena.

Léan returned it, contently, and then slid back into the water to find a suitable place to rest up for the night. He would have to make sure it was well-hidden...the water was very clear here.

Once she was inside, Glory changed quickly into her pajamas and made herself comfortable on her bed before anyone could come in and try to convince her to go out again. She was tired from spending all day out in the sun and the water, and it felt good to just relax.

Selena returned a good twenty minutes later. It seemed she'd also been out on the beach all day, partying and whatnot. She collapsed in bed, not even bothering to change into her pajamas. "Ah...bed...sweet bed..."

Glory was already half-asleep by the time Selena came back.

"Fair warning," she murmured, "I bitch at people who keep me awake."

"I'm going to bed. You're probably going to be bitching at Viktor...he's going to try and keep everyone awake..." Reluctantly, Selena hobbled out of her bed to change into her pajamas. She said nothing more, only letting that warning hang in the air.

"I'll skin him if he tries," Glory mumbled as she snuggled into the bed. She wanted to sleep, and heaven help anyone who interfered.

"Go for it." Selena changed quickly and then curled up into bed to sleep, as well. Five minutes passed, and then the telltale signs of partying from the ground floor drifted upstairs. They were faint, but growing louder. "Damn it..."

"Just ignore them," Glory grumbled, shoving her head under her pillow. She focused on relaxing her muscles one by one, starting with her feet. She didn't remember getting much further than her knees.

Selena wanted to go bash Viktor over the head with those speakers he was using, but thought better of it. She also pulled her pillow over her head, and eventually fell asleep.

Glory woke the next morning snuggled deep into her bed, the comforter nearly completely over her head to shield her from the air conditioning. Stretching under the covers, she gradually pulls herself out of bed and into the bathroom. A hot shower later, she put on her bathing suit and braided her hair back to keep it out of her way. Then she grabbed her towel and cell phone and made her way out to the beach again.

Léan was nowhere in sight. It seemed he'd hidden himself well from the public, and that he'd also hidden the little shark so it wouldn't disturb anyone.

Glory wasn't too worried about not seeing him anywhere. She knew he would show up. Climbing up onto one of the rocks, she dangled her feet in the water and waited for him.

Léan popped out from one of the rocks after a while, the small shark in tow. For some reason, it seemed to have grown...less than an inch at the nose. He swam around on his back, yawning. He'd been sleeping.

"Morning, sleepyhead," Glory teased, kicking some water at him.

Léan scowled, shielding his face with his hands. He grunted, in response to her. He was not a morning person...not in the least. It was one of the only two things he inherited from his father--that, and his attitude.
