"I'll be okay," Glory said. She saw how Léan relaxed once Viktor left, and she didn't blame him. She knew he wasn't comfortable around humans.

Léan nodded. "Good..." He looked around, and was relieved to see their shark friend swimming nearby. "Shall we go and see the reef in more detail, now?"

Glory nodded.

"Sounds good," she replied.

Léan turned and headed off in the direction of the reef. The shark swam alongside Glory, knowing now that Léan was far too fast to keep up with.

Glory followed him, since she didn't remember exactly where the reef was. She grinned inwardly when she saw the shark keeping pace with her instead, and she didn't blame it.

Soon, after a few minutes of swimming, the reef came into sight. Léan swam around a few tall pillars of bright red coral, waiting for them to catch up.

Glory looked around at all of the coral, marvelling at the colors and shapes. Now that she didn't have to worry about drowning in the immediate future, she actually had a chance to see everything.

Léan swam on one side, and the shark swam on the other. The shark looked a bit nicer underwater. Its skin was a marble-like bluish gray. Léan looked dreamily content, for some reason. He sometimes swam ahead and ducked down, underneath coral. He looked a tad majestic under the water.

Glory followed him, doing her best not to touch the coral. She didn't know if touching it would hurt it or not, and she didn't want to take the chance. That, and if she kept her distance, she wouldn't accidentally touch an anemone or anything. She watched Léan swim and grinned. He looked so much more relaxed. She was glad he was happier.

Léan turned around suddenly to swim beside her again. "Are you enjoying yourself?" he asked, tilting his head. Surprisingly, his movements seemed much more fluid and comfortable underwater...

Glory nodded, and then had to keep her hair from drifting into her face.

"Yeah," she replied. "Just trying not to touch things that might sting me back."

"Anemones, urchins, and jellyfish will be the culprits here," Léan informed her, amused by her 'misbehaving' hair. "So just watch for them. You can touch the coral, as long as you don't break anything off."

"And when little creatures come out of the little corners and cracks to eat my fingers, I'm blaming you," Glory teased as she tried to make her hair behave.

"Fair enough," Léan hummed, also teasingly. He swam a little farther ahead, catching a passing fish to snack on while he swam.

Glory tried not to notice how incredibly graceful he was. It made her feel horribly gangly and clumsy in comparison, but she tried to shrug it off. She never cared about being pretty or graceful before, so why would she care now?

Léan swam beside her, a pleased look on his face, as he munched on his newly-captured snack. He seemed quite happy to be able to swim underwater with her...

"You look like you're feeling a lot better," Glory said. "I'm glad."

Léan nodded, pleasantly. "I do feel better, actually...I feel a bit more relaxed now that I don't have to worry about the shark...which reminds me. We still have not named our friend here..."

"I'll leave that one up to you," Glory said. "You're the one it took a liking too, after all."

"Uh..." Léan frowned. "I can't think of anything, though..." He closed his eyes as he swam, comfortably. He was sure he wouldn't bump into anything...

"We could always wait to give it a name until we're back home," Glory suggested.

"That's true." Léan relaxed a little more. "I'm terrible with names. I've never had a pet in all my life..." He sounded a little embarrassed about that.

"My aunt had a pet, but it was already named," Glory replied. "And I wouldn't mind a pet now, but Nana would have to take care of it, and I won't make her do that."

"I don't mind taking care of a pet...I just don't know what to name a pet," Léan amended, sighing quietly.

"I'm sure you'll think of something," Glory replied.
