"He'd probably like you if you lavished attention on him, but if you actually fucked him, I'm thinking he'd definitely sit and listen to anything you said." Vigil offered with utter honesty in his voice.

Vigil kind of liked the close contact; he didn't get a lot, and it felt kind of...nice.

"Hmm...you wouldn't mind that, if it was just to calm him down?" He seemed hesitant about it. "I guess if it doesn't look like he'll listen any other way...I'll have to do it."

Aric held him close, sort of sensing that. "I'm guessing you don't get to be around people like this a whole lot, don't you?"

"I can't lay a claim to you, not in this place. You can claim me all you want, but you are nobody's here. At least, not to Brae. You wouldn't even really be his...just...someone to play with that should be open to each and every one of us." A pause, "But try to get him without Benji, he'll be a better listener if it's just him."

Vigil nodded a little, "I...only usually get held by Shode. When everyone leaves, sometimes I'll sleep in the tank with him..."

"Okay...I'll have a talk with Benji about staying away from Brae a bit. If you really don't mind, I'll have no qualms about using that technique to calm him down."

Aric held him a bit closer, hoping to let him revel in the feeling. "It's nice to just have contact that isn't sexual. Though, that kind of contact is enjoyable at times. It's much nicer sometimes to just cuddle up to someone and feel secure."

"Mm...go ahead. You're only mine behind closed doors..." He nodded, licking his lips. "You already said you aren't interested in him, really, so..." He wasn't one to get jealous, not unless he was pregnant.

"Mm...I've...had sexual relations in the past...they tend to be annoying, at best..." He paused, "I'm very old, for my looks.." He had lived since the beginning of time, it seemed.

Aric nodded. "All right. All I needed was your approval. I sure hope he's in a listening mood..."

"Well..." Aric thought of what to say for a moment. "They're really only incredible and feel pleasant if they're with the right person. Otherwise, they're just sort of...oh, hey, look...I'm inappropriately touching someone else and it feels kinda good."

A soft nod left Vigil and he licked his lips. "He will be if you do him how he likes. Hard, fast, and lots of dirty talk."

Vigil chuckled a little at that, "Mm...well, I've...had it once with the right person...but the bad thing about having a mate...is that if you get pregnant, and he dies, the baby dies with him...and it makes you want to follow suit."

Aric chuckled. "Well...that's how my ex liked it, so I'm trained in that area."

Aric's face fell a bit. "Oh...that's awful." He rested his head against his. "Well...if you feel it's right with me, I'll keep myself safe and I won't leave you...I'll try my best not to get caught in a freak accident or something that will take my life. Even if you don't end up getting pregnant. I kind of feel like I have an obligation to do so..."

"Mm...then you'll be fine with him." Vigil sighed a bit.

"I'm starting to think it might be." He nodded, "But...I'm not for sure..." He added, quickly. "But...I suppose it's important to tell you, unless we're both in the water, I won't get pregnant. I've had plenty of sex...on land." He blushed, "I used to be quite the tyrant. When I was younger...I absolutely hated humans. I had such a harsh thought on them that it brought me to only want to toy with and destroy them." He sighed, "But...I've come to see that you aren't all bad..."

Aric nodded. "I don't think I'll even think of touching him until I've gotten a little farther with you, though...I do have two weeks to spare before I absolutely have to fetch Wyatt..."

Aric contemplated that for a moment, then thought of something. "Maybe Wyatt's water demon could help. He can breathe underwater, and Wyatt claimed once that he helped him breathe underwater, too...maybe he has a trick, or some sort of...spell?"

Vigil blushed darkly, almost looking like he thought he had done something wrong for a moment. "Y-you...would rather get further with just me...before..." That almost amazed him. Someone had the patience to wait for him than just wanting to fuck and leave. It...it was very different.

"Well...I can turn you into something similar to myself..." He offered, "You'd likely have to stick with me, and...that would be a definite way to get me pregnant...but you seem definitely able and ready to do that..."

Aric grinned, nuzzling his neck slightly. "Certainly. I have a devotion to you before I do him. I'll be patient for you. I know it must not be too easy...so I'll wait for you."

"Hm..." Aric's brow furrowed. "That doesn't sound like a bad idea. But we should wait until we're sure whether or not we'd like it to happen."

Vigil shivered a little, eyes closing as he bared it more for the other. "Mnn..." he panted a little; his neck was sensitive. "That'...that's so sweet."

"Mm...it wouldn't be bad if we knew for sure. But...already, I feel safe with you." Vigil confided softly, nodding slightly, before licking his lips and shivering. "Mnn...I need to wet my gills..."

Aric grinned at his reaction and at his words, kissing his neck lightly. "Thanks..."

Aric seemed a little worried when he brought it up. "Do you want me to sneak you out to your room? If you wear my coat, I should be able to get you through the crowd without them noticing you..." His purple coat was long, almost sweeping the floor, and would certainly conceal Vigil...

Groaning gently at the kisses, Vigil's eyes fluttered and he closed them, the long lashes delicately curled over high cheekbones.

"Mnn...my room's back here, we could go to it, if you want..." He offered, chewing his lip. "I just want to relax."

Aric nuzzled him a bit more, smiling at his reactions. He seemed to like getting reactions--it sort of told him how well he was doing.

Aric nodded. "All right. Let's get you back there." He slung an arm around his shoulders--a friendly gesture.

Vigil chewed his lip when the other stopped, and he blinked at the shoulder. Gulping slightly, he nodded and led the way out, heading to his own room.

Once inside, he started up his tub, it was set up like a hot tub, and stripped out of his skimpy kimono for one that he could always wear in water. The one he had worn for thousands of years. As he slipped into the water, the floor-length kimono began to form into fins, and soon he lay in the tub, completely and utterly beautiful and teal with slight traces of a bright purple.

"Ahhh...that's so much better..." He even sunk down to cover his neck in water, almost looking more pleasured than he would be with sex.

Aric politely sat by him instead of entering the tub with him, watching him with interest as he changed forms. "I've never seen something like that before. Have you always been able to do that?"

Instead of finding it...monster-ish...Aric seemed to be genuinely interested.

"How much time can you spend out of water, roughly? I'm gonna guess it's not too long--like, days or something."

"I've always been able to, yes...but...I can't turn back if I don't wear this outfit." He sighed, "They have me wear smaller ones that show more, but I am allowed to keep this so I can transform." A smile was on his face.

"Mm...out of water? ANywhere from six to nine hours. Comfortably. I can go half a day...but by then I need water." He nodded slowly.

Aric nodded, studying him. "Huh. That's awesome. I can't transform or do anything special," he added, scratching his head sheepishly. "The most talent I've got in my system is the ability to babysit impeccably. Having to look after Wyatt has proved that I've got major skills in that area."

Aric rested his chin on the side of the tub, watching the content look on his face. "Then you might be able to stomach a short road trip to fetch Wyatt. All in all, it will only take from forty-five minutes to an hour."

"I wouldn't say it's very awesome...when I'm in a hurry to get in the water and can't change...it's an awful thing." Vigil shrugged a little, chewing his lip. "But it's pretty cool most times." He did enjoy it. Glancing to the other man, he slid over and rested their foreheads together, sighing a bit.

"Maybe...will he hit on me?" He didn't really like it when people did that in a crude way, hence one reason he was in a cage.

Aric was happy to rest their foreheads together. He reached out and stroked his hair, as well--it was very soft.

"Yeah, I could see that being an issue," Aric amended sheepishly. "Maybe you could find a way to keep it on you at all times? Like...find a way to wear it as a fashionable sash or something while you're dancing, just in case there's an emergency?"

Aric chuckled. "No, no. Wyatt won't hit on you. He has this 'I'm completely straight--don't even question it,' attitude. I've caught him more than once with another guy, though. I'm thinking he's bi...anyway, he won't hit on you, I promise. He's a good boy--just a little mischievous. If he senses you don't like it, though...he might tease you a bit. That's just how he is. Impish."

The hand in his hair felt nice; it was definitely a soothing feeling, something that made you feel safe and at home.

"Mm...maybe. It works best when I wear it like this. I just think I should try and bewitch the others at some point...but...for now, I'm good with this." He nuzzled a bit closer, pressing their noses together. "Mmn..." A slow nod, and then he spoke again.

"Well, then I'll have to show him why he shouldn't be insubordinate to the King of the Sea." He offered in a high-and-mighty tone. It was true, too; where he came from, he was a king. And a good one, at that.

Aric grinned, bringing his other hand up to stroke at his neck.

"Yeah...I guess it's good for now. I just don't want to see you in distress or something because you can't get to water easily...or in time..." He seemed genuinely concerned.

Aric chuckled. "Well, don't beat him up or anything--he's a good kid, just naughty. Plus, I'd get hell from his grandparents."

Purring a little, he closed his eyes and licked at the other's wrist.

"Mm...I want to swim with you." He tried to tug the other closer, "But don't get wet if you don't want to....I want you safe and dry...if you want to be..." He blushed a little, "Ugh...I feel so weird."

There was something in the water that smelled a bit like alcohol.
