Aric chuckled a bit, then studied the water.

"Might be the water...sort of smells strange...but if you want to swim with me, sure. I'm no Olympic swimmer, but I can manage..."

"Well, this isn't even a pool..." He smiled, "Come on in, if you want it." He added, spreading out a bit and showing himself off a bit more.

"Mnn...even if it is the water, it's probably spiked because of someone."

Aric chuckled. "Well...you got me there. You sure you don't mind this? It's rushing it a bit..." As he spoke, he worked at unbuttoning all the little buttons on his coat.

"Yeah, I could see someone here doing that," he added, grinning and nuzzling him a bit. "The effects seem to be rather nice on you, though," he joked, grinning even more.

The alcohol in the water made him giggle a little and he blushed a little.

"Y-yeah...come on in, the water's nice." He purred, splashing a little and trying to pull him in. "It's nice in here....and you should definitely join me." He grinned, tugging a little harder at his elbow. "It's not too fast, it's perfect."

Aric's grin widened, and he stroked his hair gently. He wondered if it would have the same effects on him...

"Whoa, there--at least let me get my clothes off," he chuckled, dropping his coat to the floor and starting to pull his black turtleneck over his head.

"Mnn...but I want you in here, now!" Vigil purred, the alcohol-laden water flowing over his gills and turning him dizzy and fairly friendly. He moved over to the edge of the tub and nuzzled against him, kissing at his stomach once it was bare. Alcohol always made him ten times as friendly, and almost turned him into as big a 'skut' as Brae.

"Do...you really like me this much, Aric?" He questioned, licking his lips and staring up at him earnestly.

"My, you're eager. Patience is a virtue, and it makes the prize sweeter in the end," Aric teased playfully, dropping his shirt and fiddling around with his pants. "I'll only be a few more seconds--I promise."

Aric eyed him as he worked on getting his pants off, finally succeeding in doing so and setting them on the floor. "Yeah, I do. I know you might not believe it now--I've only just met you today--but I do care about you. I'm a nice guy to begin with, and I am very attracted to you. We'll just see how everything goes."

"Mmnnn...but patience means I have to waaaait~" Vigil whined, almost becoming an entirely different person with this. "Mnn...I don't like to wait. Waiting's for non-important people. I'm a KING, doesn't that mean I get special privileged or something?"

"Mnn...I care about you, too. It isn't always that I get so involved with people...." Not for a long time had he gotten this loose around a human.

Aric chuckled, finally getting stepping out of his last article of clothing. "There. Happy, your highness?" he teased, still very playful. "Now you don't have to wait." Carefully, Aric stepped into the water with him, settling himself down until he was comfortable.

Aric nuzzled him, grinning. "I feel special."

"Mm..yes, much happier." It had been so long since he'd seen actual human...parts. They almost had him mesmerized, and he traced along that stomach and down the hip in surprise. "Wow..." He snuggled nice and close, kissing at his chest, neck, collarbone, anything he could reach.

"You should...I haven't been with a human since the days of the pirates..."

Aric placed a hand on the back of his head, closing his eyes a bit and reciprocating the snuggling. He seemed content with just close contact and slight exploring, for now...of course, he would up the pace of things if Vigil wanted him to. He wouldn't do much without knowing or hearing his consent--he was too nice of a guy.

"Pirates, eh? There are still pirates out there. But they use speedboats and AK-47s instead of sailboats and daggers."

"I mean..." A kiss, "The good pirates..." Another kiss, lower, "The ones...with the canons..." Another kiss, longer and with a tongue swirling over a nipple. "And the sexy...shirts." He purred, nipping gently.

"I like....the sexy...pirate shirts..." The billowy blouses had always made his flesh prick.

Aric curled more against him, loving the amount of touch he was getting, and sighed, content. "The good kind of pirates...now there's something to obsess over. Which do you prefer...? Rugged captains or innocent young deckhands?" He chuckled, running a hand down Vigil's back.

"...I have to agree with you on that--those shirts are awesome," he concurred, and then he remembered something. "I think I own a shirt like that, actually. If you'd like to see me wear it sometime, don't be afraid to ask..."

"Rugged captains were always..." More kisses, "The most fun to toy with. Act coy...pretend to not know what was going on...but it was all just a clever ruse. I used to eat people, during my younger years. It was a good way to not pollute my ocean...but I grew out of that." He smiled, "I...was mated with a young, innocent deckhand. He was the one...that fathered my child." The only child he had had.

"Oooh! I'd love to see it...I miss those pretty shirts..." He smiled, nuzzling him happily.

Aric grinned, tilting his head a bit. "That sounds both terrifying and amusing at the same time. Eating people. I'm sure a lot of 'em deserved it, anyway...there are a lot of awful people in this world. So you've had a child before, huh? Was the guy nice and all?"

Aric nuzzled him back, looking a little dazed. Just the scent of alcohol was making him a little tipsy. He was not experienced with it--he'd only gotten drunk once before in his lifetime. "All right, then...when we go to pick up Wyatt, I'll make sure I get that shirt out to show you..."

"Mm...they did need it." He nodded licking his lips. "It was stupid...they tried to kill my brother...nobody tries to kill my brother. They killed his mate, already...he's been afraid to do it, now." A pause, "Yeah...the guy was real sweet...but trying to get a human to be a merman is almost like trying to explain to someone who has only swam their entire life what it's like to fly."

Vigil snuggled close, very happy ans snuggly, right now, due to the alcohol. He seemed very willing to do anything right now. "You should wear it forever." He smiled, "I love those shirts."

"Well, thaaaaanks for crushing the confidence I had about becoming like you," he laughed, ruffling his hair playfully.

Aric could see that, and he wasn't quite sure what to do. Sure, he wanted to take it further. But he feared it was too soon. He thought for a moment, and then he surrendered to his gut instinct, resting his head on his shoulder. "You know, if you want me to wear that shirt...I have to go get Wyatt...which means I have to sleep with Brae...which means I have to get further with you before I can go fetch that shirt," he mumbled, hesitantly. He didn't want to lose his trust, after getting so far. It had been terrible enough for him--he'd lost his ex just a day or so before he decided to use his vacation time.

"Well, I'm sure you'll be different..." He purred, licking his lips and nuzzling him.

"Mm...okay!~" He agreed quickly, his fins shaking in excitement. "It's a little different like me, though..." He had all sorts of membranes and fins and things that no man was used to dealing with. But those fins and membranes were incredibly sensitive.

"We'll see about that--I am rather clumsy," Aric admitted sheepishly, grinning.

Aric nodded, chewing his lip. "Well...if you want me to top--and it's totally up to you--you're going to have to help me a little bit. I've only ever played around with humans before."

"Well, seafolk are not clumsy." He smiled, chewing his lip, "You'll lose that."

"Mm....I do." he nodded, "I've always liked the full feeling, really...it's such a nice feeling." He purred, licking his lips. "I just love it." A pause, "But....okay...it's like..." He rolled over, "I still have a butt, kay? It's just different." Several layers of thin fins and membranes seperated and fanned away to reveal a slit.

"...With the amount of clumsiness in my system, I'll probably still carry it on. I've fallen down more stairs in my life than I can count, for instance. Plus, I tend to...uh...not watch where I'm going. And smack into things. Like street sign posts. Or poles."

"Okay, then. I've got no problem with that," he agreed, grinning. Aric watched, curious. "Okay, that answers one question I had. If I screw up or something, just tell me so. I am a klutz, after all," he added, grinning more.

"...then you'll hit rocks." He offered, shrugging a little. "But that's okay, because you just need to stay up here with me."

He blinked a little, wriggling slightly, "You gonna touch it?" He asked, getting quite wanton, now. "Please?"

Aric rolled a bit off of him, laying against the side of the tub. He wrapped his arms around him, rather lovingly.

"Feel better, now?" he teased, half-breathless, running a hand through his hair.

"Y-yes..." He whimpered, feeling loved and happy as he nuzzled against Aric, eyes closed.

"Mnnn...I'm sorry...if I was too forward." He added, still not quite sober.
