Aric slung an arm around his waist, nuzzling him. "I'm glad."

"Oh, no, it's fine," he assured him, placing an affectionate kiss on his cheek. "I assure you."

"Mnn..." Vigil purred and nuzzled him, moving to lay on top of him and rub against Aric.

"I'm glad...I'm very happy right now." It was clear he was still a little..influenced.

Aric settled down beneath him, arms around him, grinning.

"Well...that's good...I think it's about time we both got out of here, though...that alcohol's going to drive you crazy."

Vigil purred and shook his head.

"Don't want out....it feels too good to be in the water with someone again..."

Aric absently rubbed his back, closing his eyes.

"Shouldn't we find some water that isn't spiked, maybe?" he suggested. "Too much alcohol, ingested or absorbed...that could cause sickness, or poisoning."

Vigil whined a little, rolling his head a bit before nodding.

"Only way we can is Shode's tank...until this gets replaced." It had happened to him a lot. Brae thought it was funny if he was insatiably horny, because mermen couldn't whack off.

Aric nuzzled him, smiling.

He furrowed his brow a bit. "Maybe that could work...but is there a shallow end or something? Remember...I can't breathe underwater..."

Vigil looked up, then smirked.

"We could fix that. There's no shallow end." He looked excited, though.

Aric raised an eyebrow.

"Na-ah. Not so fast." He knew exactly what he was getting at. "I still have to do my job of protecting Wyatt, so I still have to be able to walk and breathe on land. And could you explain what it entails in detail, first?" He was more than willing to do it. He just needed details, first.

Vigil pouted some, huffing.

"I can walk on land." He pointed out, pouting more. "I bite you and drink the blood that comes out while we have sex...I have to top you. Your genetic code will break up and become mine." Sounded awfully technical to be drunk.

Just to tease him, Aric ruffled his hair playfully, like he was teasing a small child.

"I can see that." He eyed him. "Fine, I don't mind that," he agreed finally, seeming more confident, now. "Go for it."

Frowning, Vigil had been about to inform him who he was teasing, but the next thing had him happy again.

Slowly pulling away from the other, the merman slumped against the other side of the tub, panting and licking his lips.

Now, we can talk like this...you can hear me, and I can hear all of your thoughts... It had been necessary a long time ago, and it was something he never tired of.

Aric rested on the side of the tub, feeling a little lightheaded.

"I can see that..." he quipped, stretching out a bit, elbows popping. He seemed tired, but willing to get up and go if he needed to. "I can hear that, actually, I should say..."

Look at your legs. Vigil offered, flopping his own tailfin over the new one that Aric now owned. He purred a little as he watched him, You will have your own kimono-like outfit when you get out. You must wear it when you get back in, or you won't turn correctly.

Aric nodded, resting his head on his shoulder, eyes closed. He still wasn't completely calm, yet. "I think I'll steal my 'wear-it-as-a-sash' idea or something..." He hadn't tried thinking his words yet...it seemed he was still a tad uncomfortable with the whole situation. It was just because he hadn't cooled down completely yet, though--that was ringing true throughout his thoughts.

"Should I leave you be for a bit? You should get your gills wet..." Vigil began to get up, not wanting to bother him too much. That would be a bad thing; overstressed, he could die quickly.

Immediately, Aric clung to him, making a quiet sound of protest. He didn't want him to leave, though he was far too weak at the moment to do anything other than cling to him and calm down.

Vigil pet his hair gently, smiling softly as he nuzzled up against him, acting much more submissive than he had been. "Mm...I'm sorry if it's too much...." But he had asked for it.

"I'm fine...I'm just tired..." he muttered, sounding like he was telling the truth. He leaned up into the petting slightly, relaxing.

"Mm...but we need to get to Shode's tank for a nap...alcohol poisoning, remember?" He whispered, "I don't think I can carry you..."

Aric grunted, sitting up and rubbing his head. "I'll get up, I'll get up...if I fall, though, I probably won't get up..."

Carefully, he managed to crawl out of the tub, wobbling and then regaining his balance. He tucked the new kimono-like outfit around him to close it so that nothing was showing, eyeing his old clothes. "I'll just leave them there for now, I guess...you lead the way. I don't know how to get in the tank..."

A soft smile, and Vigil was up behind him, walking a bit off. "Mm...I know the feeling."

A pause and he took the other's arm, leading the way through a door on the side of his room. It took them into a cold, pitch black space, only lit by a clear light at the end, facing a different direction. Once they found the light, the tank, he climbed the ladder and dove in, swimming up to Shode and hugging him. The other merman sang softly in greeting, and the guys clamoring for the tank hooted and hollered.

Aric leaned against the wall nearby, not trusting himself to even try the ladder yet--his legs were far too shaky.

He watched them greet each other, relaxed enough to think, now--he was just having physical issues at this point. He was quite amused at the men outside the tank, loving the fact that they could look, but they couldn't touch.
