I have like 200 coins (sorry I know its not a lot)
but I do think I have enough to buy a shirt!

The two cheapest shops are 52 and Hot Gossip :yes: You could buy a dress with the gold you have now, the nurse's dress in Hot Gossip is 200 and comes in some pretty colours so it doesn't look instantly nursie, just cute! lol.

I shop in all of the stores on Mene, but my favorite store for clothes is Wonderland Boutique. I think that store has the most variety for a decent price range. Its slightly more expensive than Hot Gossip, but there's so much there that you can really work with. :yes:

At some point or another, I've shopped in all of Mene's stores. They've each got such unique items that it's hard to ignore any of them for very long!

But lately it seems like I've been doing most of my shopping during events. Fun new items go on sale in the Special Events store, so I always try to be quick to gobble them up.

Yeah, maybe you should wait until Easter to shop? I'm not sure if we're having an event this year, but we did last time and it was great. There will be a ton of super-cheap items in the special event store because all the new items that are released for Easter will be half price.

And if it turns out that there's no Easter event, I would buy a really simple outfit from 52. I hate being naked so I'd prefer to get an almost complete outfit from that store. After you save up more money, I would grab stuff from other stores, beginning with Hot Gossip because it's the next cheapest. There are good stuff in all the stores, so I wouldn't worry about where you're getting your first items. :)

I like Hot Gossip the most. :) All the stuff there is really cheap and they pretty much have all the basics. But if you want a greater variety I would just shop at ALL of the stores! They've all got great stuff.

I mostly shop in the Exchange forum these days, if it can count as a shop(s). :lol: Otherwise I go wherever the item I'm looking for is located within to shop.

Nope - no Easter event. :)

If you're the patient sort, I'd save up your gold or some of your gold for our next event (which, no, won't happen as soon as Easter). You can buy something small just to get clothed to hold you over until then. Or there are Charities who'd be happy to help you get your first outfit.

Otherwise, I'd just say poke around the shops and see which items you like and save up or buy them. :) I've never been a fan of buying something you don't like just to "hold you over". Many people end up selling those items off later and regret spending the gold.

Thanks for the help guys! Also, I am not really interested in buying like "n00b" clothes. I just want to a good place to shop so I can make my dream avatar and save up. I don't mind having no clothes at the moment.

Menewsha doesn't really have any n00b clothes, other than the peasant tops (and no one really buys those anyway). Lots of people use items from 52, even though they're cheap.

Also, have you checked out the MAC? It's a dream avatar creator that you can download. Even though it's very outdated, it's still a great resource to make some superb matching outfits. :D

I definitely agree! I usually start my shopping from the Boutique and then I work my way up. :)

Zweres... how are you an ice cream sundae?

Its something that the staff have done for a long time with Zweres. He's also been a banana at a few different points in time. And I think someone else was a red high heel. It doesn't happen very often anymore.

I love going and looking through when i have a nice amount and buying stuff.
I dont shop at one store more then the other really.
I do love the event shops when they have them though!

Tony's the slutty red shoe, lol. I dunno who made that one. I have a habit of going for food items, hence the banana and the ice cream, also the cupcake and the pineapple, and let's not forget the potato :lol:
