Mmkay. Jokes over. What can I do to speed this up. I'm talking 10+ seconds PER page load, item click, store click, everything.

What can I do to expedite this crap. It's getting annoying.

I didn't think it was too bad, but oh well... I need to go buy some new server(s) for the site. I don't have a spare $10K to spend on what I want, and the site isn't making any money, so it'll have to wait.

Well I wasn't sure if it was an individual problem or if it was an overall-sever issue. The site's run amazing 90% of the time so I was just curious what the deal was.

I saw a few posts floating around about the site being slow tonight, and it's been a bit laggy for me too, although overall not too bad.

Because there are a ton of good ones that cost substantially less than $10k. o.O

Without much checking on exact part numbers, here is one that would be reasonably optimal...

The site seems fast to me.

Things seem slow at times, but I thought it was my laptop, but it seems more fast then slow to me.

During the day the site seems fast for me most of the time.. at night though.. even when there's less people on it slows right down for me..

I have the same issue as you Kale. I don't really mind, but I do see a difference in the different time periods.

Wow. This thread got a odd number of responses despite the fact I was mostly trolling.

Anyways, this problem is beginning to become a nuisance. I'm talking 10+ second delays per action, links, equipping items, or even refreshing the page.

Is there anything that can be done to speed up the site's activity from my end.

Chuck me a traceroute, perhaps you have a shotty link to the datacenter where the site is hosted.

By the way, I'm currently in St. Louis. So going south to texas, then west to colorado, then north to chicago makes ZERO sense to me.

Trace routes amuse the hell out of me, they like to sightsee! But yours does make sense, Keyori because the server's in Chicago :)

I wanted to look at mine just out of interest, but it keeps timing out and aborting on me xD I get as far as Dallas and it gives up!

I checked Kylie's and her's timed out too, but there's some wandering about going on in what it did display..

Mmkay. Here's a bump because I'm not getting answers and this lag is making Menewsha VERY hard to navigate. I mean come on. I have an outstanding connection and lightning fast speed on every other site except for Menewsha.

Now this just made me laugh. Now that's what I'm talkin' bout' :cool:

I enjoyed reading this, but in all honest commenting, I haven't gotten any lag that I know of. Granted I played MMORPGs on full blown death lag without noticing...

o.o where would I find one of those ip tracker thingies?
