Hehe I was reminded, earlier today, what the origin of his name is. I have seen that movie many times, but it's been years since the last time.

I think I remember something about a girl tied in bed, screaming and looking like a mutated monster? And that the two priests who went to excorcise her failed or something and were killed? I watched a parody version of the movie, one of the Funny Movie series I think...

Can't remember which horror movie freaked me out most....watched a lot of them XD
I think it was one of the Japanese horror films or a Korean one...or a Thai one...can't remember XD
American horror movies don't scare me much because it's mainly the 'disgusting' 'gory' 'KILL' ingredients and unfortunately they don't really scare me more than they disgust me, with all the body parts flying and blood spattering about...my thoughts were mainly focused on "OMG that's going to take FOREVER to wash all that blood out! It's going to take FOREVER to clean up the mess they've caused! DDD:" rather than "OMG Help! What if one of those psychopaths appear outside MY door?" <_< >_>;;; *is weird like that XD*

Ehehe yeah I hear ya. I think that there's nothing wrong with a bit of gore here n there, but I like psychological factors as well. The Exorcist, Hellraiser, and the first Texas Chainsaw Massacre (not the remake, eww) were some which contained those factors. A Nightmare on Elm Street is another fav of mine. I think that the "horror" flicks today DO focus primarily on the gore factor and hope that it scares. The older movies, even in general whether it be comedy or romance, were so much better.

I agree. Some of those recent 'horror' movies didn't scare me at all. I was practically laughing while munching on some chips or other while I was watching those Jason movies...

Yeah, lol. Me and Hammy saw Paranormal Activity last year. I believe that was the most recent one I've seen. It made some people shout and scream in the theater, but I just think that some people are more sensitive to even the smallest things. It takes a lot to scare me when it comes to horror flicks.

Hmm. I just dislike the loud sudden nioses they make in order to startle you into thinking it was scary. So I watch a lot of horror films with my ears covered when it seems like there was going to be a ghost/monster the next moment the guy/girl turns their head XD
But some of those Japanese ones...I dunno, they were just eerily scary like that D:
I had trouble sleeping for a couple of nights when I watched one...where this voice kept calling a name out to a guy, and the voice sounded like how one would sound from a voice recorder...and when t he source of the voice was finally uncovered, the way the woman just stood there, pointing that dirt-covered finger at the guy, and then spoke again, but still sounding like a record machine, just freaked me out XD
Everytime I lie in bed, that voice just kept echoing in my head and I kept thinking that if I turn my head I'll see her standing beside my bed, pointing a finger at me and staring at me with those eyes >_<

Hehehe aww! xD Poor Fading~
I know what you mean, though. I've heard that the Japanese are great at making horror stories and putting it to film. Sadly, I have not seen any as of yet. I saw "The Grudge" which, I believe, is a remake of "Ju-On". "The Ring" seems like a similar situation, but I dunno if it is an American adaption or not, though. I would like to see the original stories the way they were meant to be told, but I'm always too lazy to try and find them on the internet! xD

I've heard of the Grudge/Ju On, though I haven't seen it. Heard it was really epic and scared a ton of people back when it first came out...
I remember watching the film with the voice-recorder woman with a bunch of my classmates...we rented a room in our campus one day to watch it together. The room was pretty large considering there were only five of us...and really dark because all the lights were turned out. The film was made up of eight different stories in total, and some of them were reaaaally creepy. The Japanese really has talent when it comes to horror films XD;; My classmates were all screaming and I was laughing in a hysterical freaked-out sort of way XD We were quite glad when we finally finished and walked back out the room to the bright, bright lights. XDDD;;

And dreadfully disappointed that I couldn't go with them again last Friday for another horror film they rented because I had classes that afternoon :(

Oh maan! xD That really sucks. There have been other similar situations that I have been in. I remember 2 weeks ago, I was supposed to have an exam for Geology. I had studied for 3 hours for that exam and the teacher, at the last minute, decided to cancel the exam and bump it to the following week. I was pissed xD

lol That sucks too! Happened to us once...everyone was holding on to their books for some last moment studying and tension was building...then the prof strolls in, and says "Umm...I forgot to print out the exam sheets, so we'll do this next week instead." ...The expressions on everyone's face (including my own) was priceless XD

Yeah well, hopefully you will prepare for it, still. When the following week came for me, I had little to no will to re-study. I glanced over my notes, but I didn't study certain notes. I don't know how I did on the exam, but I'm hoping I did well. ;[

....Well. Truth be told, I just set the book aside and completely didn't bother to pick it back up again until it was exam time on that day once more. Good thing that prof is a slacker one and told us that no matter what grade we end up with, he'll give us a 60 (passing grade) as long as we showed up for the exam...I think I got a forty-something XD

Ahahah slacker teachers are the best! However, there have been some teachers where I couldn't tell if they graded me easy. I'm sort of a C-student, with an occasional B here n there, and only A's in art-related classes. Usually when I get a B in any other course than art, I get to thinking, 'Did I really do well or was the teacher just taking pity on me?' xD

lol I think that too whenever I get an exceptionally high grade...I do know for a fact that all the art courses I took, the teachers were definitely having pity on me and my other classmates from the English department, because there was NO WAY we could've gotten such high scores considering the crap quality of our artwork when compared to the art students XD It was kinda like looking at Picasso or some other famous artist's drawing compared to a three-year-old's. Hell, we even got higher scores than some of the art students! Which is kinda unbelievable >_>;; Oh well. I wouldn't mind a high score any day XD

Ahahah aww. xD I'm sure your art isn't THAT bad. I haven't seen it i know, but...yeah!
I came to realize, from my art class in high school, that an art teacher takes a look at what a person can do and grades accordingly. That wasn't always necessarily good for me because I'd have higher expectations from the teacher. If I were lazy on an assignment compared to a different one, the teacher would definitely know.
