I will travel across the land, searching far and wide. Each Pokémon to understand, the power that's inside.

For thousands of years, people of all types from all the different parts of the world have partaken in raising Pokémon. And through this mutual enjoyment, we have become closer.
Team Rocket, Team Magma, and Team Aqua are villainous groups who have gathered in the Hoenn Region to wreak their havoc on humans and Pokémon alike. As of now, Teams Aqua and Magma have stayed on the down low, their new leaders trying to revive the disbanded teams after the conflict between the Legendary beasts that they had sought after, so many years ago. While Team Rocket has slowly risen into power. Having taken over many of the old hideouts of the weakened teams, Team Rocket have begun their role of stealing trainer-owned Pokémon, as well as wild ones.
If you feel like it’s the right thing to do, you too may join these Teams, but remember: While these people like Pokémon as much as any other, their methods of training and capturing are not for the faint of heart. If you aren't willing to cast your most loyal, faithful companion to the side when it falters, you are advised not to join.
Instead, you could take a more peaceful route. You might desire to become a trainer, to defeat all of the gyms of Hoenn and then take on the Elite Four in hopes of winning. Or maybe you are a pacifist of anything other than a friendly spar. If so, eight towns and cities have Contest Halls for you to hone your work as a coordinator and strive to be the best, to go down in history. Still not satisfied? You may wish to better the entire Pokémon race by selectively breeding and nurturing them. If so, many day-care centers have recently opened all over the Region and are looking for young workers like you to apply for a job, or, if you're up for it, you could try opening your own center, or maybe a ranch. There are still many other options; Pokemon Center Worker, Police Officer, and Professor just to name a few.
So, what will it be? Will you do the right thing and better the Hoenn Region by becoming one of the previously listed, or will you take a darker route and join Team Rocket, Team Magma, or Team Aqua in hopes of fame and fortune? Well, whatever path you take is up to you, I am only your guide. I hope that I have been able to help you, young one, and good luck. You're going to need it.

My Rules:
1.) Follow the TOS Rules.
2.) No God-modding! I am the Goddess here. If you are caught, you will be Blacklisted and removed from the RP.
3.) This is a semi –advance to literate role-play, which means; Two good paragraphs or more, and no text talk. I do not want one-liners. I understand writer’s block, but try your best. [Remember: Spell check is your friend.]
4.) Romance is encouraged, but no cybering! Keep it PG-16 or take it somewhere else.
5.) If you are going to be gone for a while, please inform us. Waiting around for one person to post isn't any fun.
6.) The OOC Thread was created for chatting amongst other role-players. Please do not use the actual RP to chat. This is distracting and slightly annoying. The Profile Page was created for exactly that. Profiles. Once your character is approved my me, you may post the profile up in this thread.
7.) There is to be absolutely no killing of characters unless you are given permission to do so. [I mean, characters that are involved in the RP. Random, passerby people are okay.] Oh, swearing is allowed, but just don't overdue it.
8.) PM your profiles to me for acceptance before you begin posting.
9.) I will not force you too, but because this is a Semi-Adv to Literate RP, I ask you to use small font for really long posts.
10.) There aren't any levels or move sets in this role-play, since this goes more by the anime than the games, and it seems unlikely that a Pokémon would only retain the knowledge of how to use four attacks. You teach your Pokémon new moves how they do in the anime- through training. Think of how you teach a dog to sit, and don't refer to other sites for learnable moves- we use common sense to see what moves your Pokémon can learn.
11.) You may start out with any Pokémon, since it is actually unlikely that you will start out with one of the regular starters. Only one shiny Pokémon you are allowed to have, you may not have any legendaries to start with, but can capture them later in the RP if we get far enough in the plot. With people from all over, always moving to and from different regions, every Pokémon known to man other than some legendaries now have a wild population in the other regions.
12.) You are allowed to have any position that is possible in the Pokémon world. But please, think about whether it's something that would be useful in our role-play, if you think it will not, change it.
13.) If any of these rules are broken, you will receive two warnings. After that you will be Blacklisted and removed from the RP.

Cecilia Rosario Bellerose. Petalburg Woods.
___“Ian, use Fury Swipes!” A Persian ran full force towards a wild Zigzagoon, its’ sharp claws exposed as the wild Pokémon used a tackle attack. The Zigzagoon took major damaged from the blow as it limped off, realizing that the feline Pokémon was too much of a match for it, whimpering. Maybe next time the raccoon-like creature would think twice on startling a trainer. A trainer that was currently lost in the Petalburg Woods. “Nice work.” The trainer had a pleased look on her face as the Persian walked up to her, purring. Cecilia patted the Pokémon’s head before looking down at the ground, searching for something. That was when a Teddiursa caught her eye. It was sitting under a tree, munching on a Pecha Berry that it had taken out of her trainer’s bag. Clicking her tongue, the brunette laid a hand on her hip. “Honey, were suppose to save the berries to make Pokéblocks, not eat them.” The Teddiursa looked up at its trainer as it swallowed the last piece of the berry, causing her to sigh. “Alright, come on Teddiursa. We’ve got to cover ground if we want to get out of these woods by tomorrow. The Contest is only in a couple of days.” The little bear jumped up at the word “contest” and quickly ran over to Cecilia, jumping and landing on her shoulder. This caused the girl to laugh as she took out a Pokéball from her pocket. “Thanks a lot for your help, Ian. Return.” A red beam emitted from the center of the circular mechanism and surrounded the Persian before it was converted into a form of energy and was stored back safely in its Pokéball. Clipping the, now ping-pong sized, ball on her belt, Cecilia began to make her way through the dense forest, her PokéNav in hand, in case she took a wrong turn. Maybe nest time; the girl would first try to find different routes to a certain city, instead of running head first towards the one that she was told about.
When the brunette was still in the city, hours ago, she had gone around asking for information about the Pokémon Contests in the region. She would have also gone and challenged the Gym Leader, but it seemed that they were currently out of town. Cecilia was told that there was a Gym Leader in the same city, Rustboro City, which was going to hold a Contest in a couple of days, she also asked as to how long the journey through the Petalburg Woods would take her. The answer was two, three, maybe even four days. That displeased her. She had to get to the city in time for the Contest! That would also explain why Cecilia was oh so lost. Honestly, if it wasn’t for her PokéNav, she probably would have never found a trail that seemed to lead her through a few good parts of the dense forest. “I don’t understand why I keep doing this…” She muttered to herself, petting her Teddiursa’s head as she wondered as to why she still traveled even when she was a horrible map-reader. It was all for the ribbons. She wanted to prove to her mother that she too could become a great Coordinator. And on top of that, the badges. If she could become an elite Coordinator and a Pokémon Master, then surely she would make her family proud. Maybe even proud enough for her father to finally return home. That man, her father, had not been in contact with either her mother or herself for the past six years. As a kid, Cecilia believed it was her fault he left, but even now, at the age of sixteen, she still believes so.
“Ur Ursa.” Cecilia snapped out of her thoughts when she heard the worried coo of her Pokémon. Her green eyes met with soft, black beady ones as she forced a smile, knowing that Honey was becoming worried. “Don’t worry, Hun. I’m fine.” The Teddiursa wasn’t going to fall for it, but wasn’t going to press the delicate matters, she knew better.

Pandora Matrona Desrosiers. Mt. Pyre & Mossdeep City.
___Usually, this Gym Leader would have been ecstatic to hear about a Contest just days away, but at the moment, Pandora was in no mood to enter one. And neither were her Pokémon. Running her long, pale fingers through her dark, purple-black hair, the Mossdeep City Gym Leader was currently walking around in the summit of Mt. Pyre, a relax smiled on her pale pink lips. Her Mismagius and Shuppet were floating about, above the graves of the deceased Pokémon buried there, as she walked around. Her eyes closed as soon as she found a spot to meditate. Yes, she meditated in graveyards, which definitely showed how demented the Desrosiers’ family was. Of course, she didn’t always meditate. The ones that lived in the sacred ground have learned by now that the woman only came to the graveyard when she was holding back strong emotions, usually due to her brothers. Finding a quiet spot, away from whatever onlookers that were currently visiting the graves, Pandora sat in the style of the Lotus pose as she took deep breaths, clearing her mind of whatever thoughts that were roaming her mind.
After a few minutes, the young woman sighed and opened her purple eyes. Shuppet was cooing and floating above her head, wanting attention, while Mismagius was lying on her lap, having fallen asleep from playing with the younger Pokémon. “You two are hopeless.” She smiled as she patted Nyx’s head and motioned for Noah to come closer to it. The young ghost Pokémon almost squealed in delight as it cuddled up against her chest, an almost cat-like smile on his lips. The Gym Leader sighed, shaking her head, as the smile stayed on her lips. Mismagius also cuddled up to her, which caused her to laugh. “Nyx, Noah, you two are so silly. Come on, let’s head back.” Taking out a Moon Ball and a Luxury ball from a hidden pocket of her short dress, she stood up. “Mismagius and Shuppet, return.” Each Pokémon was sealed away in their respective Pokéballs and placed back in her pocket before taking out a Premier Ball. “Gardevoir, come on out!” She called forth her Psychic Pokémon, expanding the circular mechanism by pressing the button on it and throwing it, in her usual style, in the air. “Voir!” The Pokémon exclaimed as it appeared beside its trainer. Pandora smiled at Chi as she dusted off her dress, fidgeting with the bracelet on her left wrist. “Mind taking me home, Chi? I can’t seem to concentrate today…” The Gardevoir nodded as it wrapped it arms around his trainer, teleporting them from Mt. Pyre back to Mossdeep City.
Pandora and her Gardevoir soon appeared in front of the Gym, many of the townsfolk had gotten use to seeing the Gym Leader appear and disappear with a blink of an eye. “Thanks a lot, Gardevoir.” She smiled at her Pokémon and kissed its cheek before walking into her Gym. Gardevoir's face turned to a light shade of pink. There was no natural light that penetrated the darkly tainted windows, shadows were everywhere thanks to the lit candles that gave the Gym the only source of light. “Looks like no one is here…” She spoke in a hushed tone as she took out the Pokéballs that contained her Mismagius and Shuppet. Usually, a Gym would always have at least a few people remaining at the Gym while the Gym Leader was out. But this was a family-run Gym. Her twin was an Elite Four, her kid brother was out on his own journey, and no one in the town knew as to what happened to their parents. “Come on out you two.” She threw the Pokéballs in the air as her last three Pokémon appeared from the shadows. Nyx and Noah floated around their trainer and fellow Pokémon before disappearing into the shadows. The chandeliers up above were only ever lit when trainers came to challenge the Gym Leader. Speaking of which, Pandora took out her PokéNav and checked the date, her purple eyes narrowing as she bit her tongue. Espeon and Umbreon noticed her reaction, Absol seemed also use to it, as each Eevee evolution came up beside their trainer, mewing in worry. “It’s been two weeks… Where is that child?” Taking a breath, she could almost hear the windows of her Gym shake, which meant she had to calm herself or else she would accidentally shatter them. Again. The Mossdeep City Gym Leader ran her fingers through her hair once more as she tried to think about what she should do. Calling her twin would be a waste, even more so if she tried calling the youngest of the psychic children. The child had destroyed every PokéNav she had ever bought him. Either on accident or on purpose.

Pegasus Monroe Carlisle. Mossdeep City.
___He stood near the edge of the cliff, watching the Wailmer play in the sea, as the wind ruffled his trench coat and hair. The sea air, the laughter of people, and the happiness emitting from the Pokémon’s faces always brought a smile to the man. “Looks like it’s going to be an interesting day.” He commented, turning on his heel and making his way towards the Mossdeep Space Center. Pegasus was actually in the city to visit the Gym, to visit his friend’s sister, but being around the older psychic brother gave him a bit of an advantage when knowing when to or not to visit his twin. He heard from the other Elite member that the city’s Gym Leader had more of an attitude when she was triggering her given powers, and to be careful even when she wasn’t. It seemed, rumor has it, that everyone in the Desrosiers’ family was mentally unstable in one way or another. It was strange to see that that particular information didn't bug the man. Many people would have left the family if rumors like that had begun to spread, but this pacifist could really care less about them. The Desrosiers family was actually a very curious, very amusing family to him.
Climbing up the stairs towards the building, the Space Center was a sight to see. Pegasus did question the obsession the Mossdeep folk had for the unknown world, but never aloud. He heard his PokéNav beep as he removed his shades, revealing his completely different colored eyes. Apparently the older Desrosiers sibling was on his way to his hometown, having sent the Water Elitist ahead to inform the family of his arrival, but, when his eyes fell upon the quiet shaking of the windows when he had passed by the Gym only minutes ago, he decided it would be best to wait a little while before stopping by the Gym. Readjusting the dark shades on his pale face, the man looked around the Space Center as he awaited for time to pass.

Home to Mossdeep city, he was both elated and dreading this event. One reason he had asked his friend to go ahead as assurance, it simply wasn't a good idea to appear unannounced in front of the Mossdeep Gym leader, especially if she was in a rare, sour mood. However his dread was overwhelmed as soon as he saw the port from his perch at the front of the boat and crossed both arms to reach into the inner pockets of his jackets, pulling out three pokeballs in between his fingers, he flung one hand into the air, the balls expanding. "Mr. Mime, Janis, Brutus come on out!" As the burst of light came from the pokeball, releasing two pokemon onto the shipdeck and one into the ocean, he flung his other hand in the air, the same display with a different call. "Kingsly, Smoochum, Grimm! We're almost home!"
Damian was possitively grinning as he watched the Slowbro swim ahead, just to climb onto a rock close to shore. The Mr. Mime that he released was running away from Smoochum as the Jynx watched with a slightly baffled expression. The Eggsecutor had a seat while the Slowking walked to stand right next to Damian. The fact that Kingsly was able to most easily break the language barrier between pokemon and master brought the two particularly close. "There's Mossdeep Kingsly! Home, little sister and brother, and free food!" The third member of the Elite four broke into a deep grin. Kingsly glanced up from the shore line to look at Damian, a cynical, laughing smile on his face. "Of course you're going just for the free food." Both trainer and pokemon broke into laughter, "Yeah, you're right." When they passed Brutus the Slowbro, Damian leaned over the rail to help hoist up the extremely heavy pokemon, Mr. Mime and Janis the Jynx having to rescue him from falling into the drink.
Damian waved to the boat captain as he walked away, six pokemon walking with him. Brutus and Smoochum trying to push each other over as they walked. "Thanks for the ride! ...Now.." He pulled up his sleeve to get a look at the PokéNav on his wrist, calling Pegasus. "I've landed! How do you like the hometown so far? A ton of loony stargazers huh?" Kingsly gave Damian another sideways glance, chuckling to himself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Where has the youngest of the Desrosiers family anyway? Well he was cowering behind a rock as an enraged Charizard blew fire into the air of Petalburg Woods. They were lucky that they were in a clearing or else the forest itself would have caught on fire. "Aw! C'mon Charizard, please stooop!" But the roaring and stomping didn't seem to have an end anywhere in sight, Ethan wasn't the only one cowering behind the boulder. His Girafarig and Rattata were with him, it was unusual for Mouser to cower.. Whereas Girafarig was just looking to avoid any injury. For a moment the ruckus stopped and Ethan thought it was safe to poke his head out from behind the rock, a burst of flame scorched his face and he coughed out a puff of black smoke before yelling and running to hide behind a boulder farther away.
The Rattata looked around bewildered to find that his owner had run, and followed suit. "Rattata Ra!" Girafarig looked from the enraged Charizard to the two running idiots and just meandered over to tall grass, munching on it. Charizard caught sight of this, and his eyes glinted, fixating on the strange giraff-like pokemon. Don't take Girafarig for a fool, she caught the look. "Giraa...." Ethan looked out from his hiding spot to see the two face off in a very cold and windy atmosphere. "Oh no! He's going to fry her!!" Stumbling out from behind the boulder he ran over to Girafig just as Charizard used Flamethrower. "Dodge Girafarig!" And so Girafarig did, surprisingly leaping right out of the way of the Charizard, a singed patch of grass where she was standing before.
Ethan stood up straight, surprised that it worked and took a deep breath, adjusting his hat, a grin covering his face. He might be the least talented or knowledgeable in his family when it came to pokemon battles, but he wasn't a complete idiot. "Girafarig, use mimic!" The smaller pokemon braced itself before opening it's mouth to unleash a flamethrower back at the unsuspecting Charizard. Letting out a roar the dragon pokemon blocked the attack with his wing, letting it get singed before fixing Ethan with a steely gaze. The 11 year old boy's heart flip flopped but he had truly seen scarier in his life, so he smiled at Charizard while sweat ran down the back of his neck. "H-Hi there Charizard! I'm glad to see that you've calmed down! I'm sorry if you're scared or confused..."
Charizard harrumphed and crossed it's arms, tossing it's head to the side, letting out a tiny spark of flame.
"Yeah.. Um.. Look! I'm really sorry, I must have picked up you pokeball by accident when I was looking for my Chimchar.. and.." At this point it seemed as if the giant pokemon had tuned him out. "There was a big accident you see.. and the pokeballs must have gotten mixed up." Mouser appeared next to him and bumped against his leg. "Rattata!!" Ethan smiled, looking down at him. "So I promise that when I find your real owner I'll return you as soon as possible, okay! I miss Chimchar, just like I'm sure you miss your owner.." Charizard sat down, eyes flickering from the kid with a Girafarig now standing next to him, and away again. Ethan clapped his hands together and got on his knees, bowing his head. "But will you pleeeeeeaase help me while you're part of my team? I have to beat the Mossdeep gymleader and I cant without getting stronger first!"
Charizard grunted again, making Mouser growl and Ethan sigh. Girafarig only nuzzled Ethan as he slumped, and eventually plopped his butt on the ground, pulling the pack off of his back. "It was worth a try... Hey Charizard! Are you hungry?" He grinned when he realized he got the big dragon's attention, and started to dig a hole, Rattata was already returning with rocks and twigs, knowing that Ethan was going to try to cook something. After the fire pit was dug and prepared, Charizard trying to ignore them the whole time, Ethan frowned. "I can't find my lighter.." Charizard blew a puff of flame, and looked away, the fire crackling happy. Ethan grinned, "Thanks Charizard!" Of course the big grumpy beast was going to ignore that with a huff, but Ethan was grinning as he put together a stew pot. This meant that Charizard didn't completely hate him, in his opinion. Soon Cecilia was bound to smell the cooking if she hadn't heard the earth-quaking stomps, or unsettling roaring.
(( xD I got bored so my hand has been forced to post for Desdemonia so soon. =P ))
Now if Pegasus, the member of the Elite Four had been traveling with the other, psychic member of the Elite Four then it would have been much harder for her to have trailed him all of the way into the Space Center of Mossdeep. At this moment, Dčsdemonia could care less about the strange fascination that the townsfolk had with the stars and what lie within it. Secretly she hoped that their interest really went no further than an interest. She didn't want to have to deal with chasing pokemon into unknown worlds, it was challenging and irritating enough chasing them from island to island.
Oh yeah, about that. Why was this top-ranking member of Team Magma out here stalking the pacifistic Pegasus? He had a Shiny Pokemon that's why. That Red Gyarados was a highly sought after pokemon. And seeing as Team Magma could use with a little more fire power, or at least some sort of leverage against the other teams around, this Gyarados would do just the trick. Trust that Demonia would break the norm and go after a water pokemon anyway. Actually, not so true. Team Aqua had captured one of the Magma's most cherished accomplishments and ignited war, it was necessary to find some sort of bargaining tool.
Enough about the background story as to why Demonia was currently sitting on a bench within the space center, in regular clothing, eating a sandwich. She wasn't like one of the idiotic grunts, waltzing around while in full uniform. OKay perhaps that was actually a requirement, who ever said that the Team Magma lieutenant had to follow all of the rules anyway? "Chimchar....." Demonia's shoulder twitched as she stiffened at the sound of the cowardly chimp pokemon jumping out of his pokeball without permission once again. He was standing on the bench looking at Demonia with large, sad looking eyes that would appeal to a softer heart. To accompany the puppy-dog look was the sound of a grumbling stomach. Demonia sighed in annoyance and ripped off a piece of her sandwich, handing it to Chimchar. "Eat, then get back into your pokeball, I can't have you ruining my mission."
Her green eyes caught sight of Pegasus walking past a doorway. In a rush Demonia packed away the lunch, stuffed it in her pack and followed after him in a sneaky way that Team Rocket could never pull off. Chimchar uttered a worried noise and lept onto her back, swinging around her arm and leaning off of it, using her side to stand on as he hung. Apparently she was used to this because she made no motion to brush him off.
Cecilia Rosario Bellerose. Petalburg Woods.
___As the Pokémon Coordinator walked through the woods, she couldn't help but notice the way a few of the wild creatures were running away from an opened area. She lifted a brow as the Teddiursa on her shoulder gave a soft growl, it's fur almost on end, as she continued her way towards the opening, ignoring her Pokémon's warning. Cecilia didn't step into the area, but hid behind a tree as she watched a young boy try and talk to an enraged Charizard, and fail. Her eyes widened and nearly jumped in when she saw the Charizard attack its' trainer and fellow Pokémon, but Teddiursa kept her in place. "Ur Ursa." The young bear shook her head as the trainer frowned slightly. "We should help, Honey. It looks like that Charizard either evolved before it was ready to..." Her green eyes glanced at the scene again, this time it looked as if the angered creature had calm down enough, even helping the trainer start a fire. "Or he isn't good at raising Pokémon just yet..." A drop of sweat rolled down the side of her face as she smiled, holding back fits of giggles as she sighed and shook her head. "He sure does look like he just started out his journey. But, c'mon, I think it's safe now." This time, Cecilia did not pay attention to her worried Teddiursa as she stepped into the opened area, her stomach actual grumbled when she caught smell of the food that the purple-haired boy was beginning to make. By now, Honey had crossed her paws and had a bit of an angered look on her face; Her trainer almost never listened to her about when things were dangerous. Pokémon had a natural sense when it came to sensing danger, and that Charizard didn't make Teddiursa any relieved. "Ursa...."
"Excuse me... but are you okay?" The Coordinator asked as she got closer to the small group, a soft wind ruffling her brown locks as it threw the scent of food all throughout the area. "I couldn't help but notice..." She glanced at the grumpy dragon, "That your Charizard was attacking you." She finished her sentence and took a step away from the Pokémon, unsure if she should trust it or not, especially after what she had seen.
Pegasus Monroe Carlisle. Mossdeep City.
___Pegasus was well inside the Space Center when his PokéNav began to beep, a few people glancing over at the man as he sighed, answering the blasted thing. When he heard his friend's voice on the other line, he gave a slight shrug, even though the man couldn't see it. "I kind of like it. It almost reminds me of my own hometown... Just without the marketplace." His lips flickered into a soft smile as he continued to walk around the Space Center, staying away from the people currently inside the building. "Oh, I should warn you; Your sister seemed peeved when I walked past the Gym. The windows flickered and I swear to you the ground almost seemed to shake." He warned the fellow Elitist, before hanging up on him. Why? Because he could. And something felt off. His eyes, covered by the dark shades on his pale face, looked around the floor he was on before he made his way towards the front of the building, swinging a Pokéball in his hand. Something had caught his eye, but he wasn't going to make it so obvious that he knew something was up. "Come, come Dragon. Let's go for a ride while that idiot Damian visits his sister." He removed his leather jacket as he got closer to the edge of one of the cliffs that lead to the beautiful ocean. Out of all his Pokémon, why did he chose the Gyarados? Because the poor thing had yet to get any exercise these past couple of days, so I good dive in the ocean would be nice for him. "Let's go, Dragon!" Throwing the Great Ball from his hand, a flash of light erupted from it and allowed a red Gyarados to emerged from it, safely landing in the ocean's water.
Dčsdemonia Fiona Eth. Mossdeep City.
Demonia stopped in front of the blueprints of an old spaceship that the space-center had hopes of sending into space some time ago, but had failed. She stayed interested in the blueprint until Pegasus was done with his conversation via the PokéNav. With a sigh she pulled the pokeball off of her clip that Chimchar belonged in. "Chimchar, return." With a soft flash of light, the chimp pokemon was back in the safety of the pokeball and out of Demonia's hair. However she nearly lost sight of Pegasus and ran out of the building after him, cursing herself inside her head as she realized that she could have just given herself away by suspicious behavior. Yet she saw Pegasus let the red Gyarados into the water, she let her mouth drop open. "Oh wow! A red Gyarados!" She walked up to stand next to Pegasus, looking out at the rare pokemon. "Oh wow oh wow! I've never seen one of those before! And Gyarados is so hard to train!" She looked at him like an adoring fangirl would, her eyes wide and full of awe, her posture innocent. On the inside she was absolutely sick with herself, but it was all with the job. "It must be so rare, how did you get one?" In her head she was also praying that none of her pokemon would leave their pokeballs without permission. They had such a nasty habit of getting in the way when she was giving attention to someone else. Demonia was relieved that she trained them pretty well, none of them came out.. yet. She then blinked as if she realized something and took a step back from the attractive Pegasus, "Oh I'm sorry! How rude of me!" Demonia extended a hand towards the Elitist, "My name is Julia, I'm a pokemon collector! So I couldn't help but to admire your Gyarados." She was dressed in normal enough clothing, a hoody without sleeves, jeans, running shoes, and Demonia was one hell of an actor.
Demetrius Ethan Desrosiers. Petalburg Woods.
The Rattata took notice of Cecilia before Ethan did, actually come to think of it, so did Charizard and Girafarig. So when Mouser jumped to his feet, hissing at the bushes, it gave Ethan a start. "What is it Mouser?" Girafarig nudged Ethan's shoulder and looked at the girl, finally drawing Ethan's attention to her as she spoke. The boy looked absolutely dumbfounded as to why she would be concerned until she looked at Charizard, who spit a spark of flame at her when Cecilia glanced at him. "Oh! Charizard? Yeah I'm fine, a little burnt I think." He touched his cheek and winced. "But nothing I'm not used to!" He started laughing after breaking into a large, friendly grin. He wasn't kidding, but he found her concern amusing, and the whole situation for that matter. Mouser looked from his trainer to Cecilia and decided to curl up in Ethan's lap instead of starting a fight, he was tired from trying to take on Charizard before the fire dragon started spitting flame everywhere. That very grumpy dragon was watching the group with interest, how in the world was the kid laughing? Hadn't Charizard already scared the pants off of him and his Rattata? Actually Ethan was lucky that his eye-patch didn't catch on fire or get too damaged. He might need to replace it soon though, it was definitely singed, like his face and purple hair. The boy didn't stand up to introduce himself, instead he held a hand up to Cecilia. "My name's Ethan, you can join me for dinner if you want!" When she took his hand, he would tug on it so that she would be kneeling closer to him just so that he could whisper into her ear. "I wouldn't worry about Charizard, as long as no one challenges him or says anything in earshot, I think he'll behave.." His smile was still just as friendly and kind as he let go of her hand, allowing her to stand back up. However the motion he made had startled Charizard and Girafarig. The dragon growled lightly, shifting his wings, but he hadn't heard Ethan, which was the point.
Damian Modestos Desrosiers. Mossdeep City.
"Haha Yeah?" Damian had been to Slateport of course, he wasn't so sure about his friend's comparison, but he was going to go with it anyway. Then Pegasus gave Damian the warning about Pandora Desrosiers, temporarily wiping Damian's smile. "Awe maan.. You've got to be kidding me." However the PokéNav went dead as Pegasus ended the conversation. Damie sighed. "Perhaps you should have bought your sister a gift." The Elitist shook his head as he quickly regained his smile, calling all of his pokemon but Kingsly back into their balls. "I don't think even a visit to her idol Sabrina would save my hide.." Kingsly laughed, he knew this was true enough.
Soon they were standing in front of the Mossdeep gym, it seemed that Pandora had settled down since Monroe's passing, because the windows had stopped their shaking. Which was all well and good, it was never a good day when the windows were broken. "Hey, Kingsly.. could you use Flash for me?" "Of course." And so they walked into the far too dark gym, "Pandora? Eeeethaaan!" He knew his way through the gym, whether Pandora rearranged it or not. However a frown crossed the typically smiling face of Damian. "....Where is Ethan?" "I hope you're not asking me, Ian."
Pegasus Monroe Carlisle. Mossdeep City.
___His ears caught the amazed tone of a girl's voice as he threw his jacket onto the floor, not caring if it got dirty. He listened to her as he watched his Gyarados dive into the salty waters, a small smirk spread across his lips. He didn't mutter a word until after she introduced herself. "Quite alright miss. My name is Monroe, I'm a Pokémon Trainer." Why introduce himself with his middle name? Because people usually knew who he was if he used his first name, and honestly, he hated the attention it brought. He shook her hand and turned to face her, keeping his shades on. "As for your question, I got him in a trade. His previous trainer couldn't train him properly, so he thought I could." He placed two fingers in his mouth and let out a loud whistle, taking a handful of Oran Berries from a messenger bag that he carried with him. The red Gyarados jumped high from out of the water and he threw the berries out towards him. The Pokémon successfully ate every one of them before emerging itself back in the water. "Gyarados aren't that hard to train when you are firm with them. Trainers don't realize that they need to show these atrocious Pokémon that they are both their friend and superior if they want to train one." A gust of wind began to blow, throwing Pegasus' hair around his face. "Me, I own a ranch of these beasts outside Ever Grande City." Was he gloating? Maybe, but it was Pegasus, sometimes his gloating was more of a matter-of-fact kind of ordeal.
Cecilia Rosario Bellerose. Petalburg Woods.
___The small flame that was directed towards Cecilia did not make her flinch, she wasn't afraid of fire, she was more afraid of the orange creature becoming enraged than sending a Flamethrower or Flame Wheel her way. When the boy introduced himself, sticking out his hand for her to shake, the girl didn't think about anything until she was pulled down on to her knees, feeling the boy's breath oh so very close to her ear. Well, mind you, Cecilia was a girl, and no matter how old of young she was compared to the kid, a slight blush spread across her cheeks. Teddiursa was just as surprised as she was when she was pulled down, so the Pokémon gave a quiet, startled shriek before realizing what had happened. So along with the other Pokémon, Teddiursa growled. The girl took a moment and cleared her breath before smiling back at the boy, petting her bear's head so she'd calm down. "I'm Cecilia and this here is Honey, my Teddiursa." She introduced them before glancing at the food that the boy was in process of making. "Thank you... I-I hope I'm not a bother. I..." Biting her lower lip, the brunette tried to think of something to say to the purple-haired boy, but all that crossed her mind was the singes left on his face, much thanks to the fire Charizard had blown. "Can I.. take care of that for you?" She used her hands to mean what she was trying to say, motioning towards her own face and tracing her fingers in places. She meant his injuries, but Cecilia was actually had trouble communicating with people outside a stage.
Pandora Matrona Desrosiers. Mossdeep City.
___Were those red eyes glowing in the distant? Yes, yes it seemed so. Chi, the Gardevoir, walked up the Slowking and Elitist, and sighed heavily. Gardevoir himself was able to talk in the human dialect, but the Pokémon rarely spoke. Though the Gym was completely dark, very few candles lit to give barely any light, the Psychic creature pointed towards the end of the Gym, where the group of glowing eyes were at. Chi was one of the glowing eyes, Absol was another, Espeon and Umbreon were also culprits, Mismagius as well. Shuppet's eyes were yellow, so who did the last pair of eyes belonged too? Wait, weren't her eyes purple? Ah jeez. Well, even though the windows were not shaking as they had done before in the past, that did not mean Pandora was in a happy mood. "You asshole!" The Gym Leader exclaimed, causing the candles were blown out as an invisible wind blew violently in the building. The Pokémon just stood by and watched, knowing it was best not to interfere with their trainer. "You come home just so you can eat free food!? I will kill you!" Though a normal person, who was not use to the total darkness, could not have seen it, but Pandora actually stood up from the throne-like seat that allowed anyone to see that it was she who reigned in that Gym. Now, even though it seemed the psychic really was about to kill her twin, having lunged herself at him, as soon as her hands came in contact with his being, she wrapped her arms around his waist. She was on her knees and actually crying. "He hasn't kept in contact these last couple of weeks!" Pandora was only a woman. A very temperamental and emotional woman.
Demonia listened to Pegasus with the most apt attention, green eyes full of wonder and curiosity. "Really?" Of course she sounded disbelieving that this boy in shades would do a good job training a Gyarados. The act was making her sick on the inside, but she had to get her hands on that red Gyarados! She watched him as he pulled out the Oran Berries, and gasped with awe, right on cue, when the Gyarados lept out of the water. However she was actually amazed, even if she had to force a different reaction than she would normally have. She turned to look at him with pure admiration, wait was that a blush? Damnit, why does he have to be so cute? Her expression grew with more awe, if that wer epossible. "You own a ranch full of Gyarados?! No way!" Cue the dreamy expression, she clasped her hands together just under her chin and took a step toward the cliff to look down on Gyarados, the gust of wind ruffling her clothes. The act would have been 100% complete if she had longer hair. "It's always been my dream to own a ranch of dragon pokemon, my father loved to raise a ton of Charmander, Charmeleon... and he own a complex in the mountain for all of the Charizard!" 'Julia' turned around, smiling at Monroe. "Could I visit your ranch in Ever Grande City one day? Oh pleeease, Monroe?" I'm going to be sick... But right now the quickest way to get that Gyarados is by getting close to Pegasus. Thankyou thankyou thankyou Des for staying in your pokeball..
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Ethan smiled when Cecilia introduced herself and Honey, but frowned realizing that he had bothered the Teddiursa greatly, and started digging in his backpack when she said that she hoped she wasn't a bother. He pulled out a few Bluk Berries, bouncing them in his hand before smiling and holding them up to to the girl. "I'm sorry for scaring your Teddiursa, does Honey like Bluk Berries?" He looked down at the Rattata, petting the mouse pokemon as if he were a cat. "Mouser really doesn't like them at all.. What? Haha, you're not a bother, I invited you didn't I?" He grinned a big cheesy grin, to which Girafarig shook her head and walked off to her favorite patch of tall grass. Ethan looked at her curiously when she offered to take care of the burns on his face, not quite understanding her hand gestures at first. "Oh! My burns?" He touched his face again, finding a new burn. "Uuuum...Sure.. I can't see my face and I forgot to bring a mirror, so you would probably do a better job than I would!" Suddenly there was a loud thump that shook the ground, and upset Mouser. Charizard had turned his back on the group and laid down on the ground in a rather pointed and grumpy manner. "Sssh, Mouser, it's okay." He leaned closer to the fiesty pokemon. "Maybe he's going to sleep, don't make him mad.... He's like Pandora!" Ethan burst into laughter, comparing the dragon to his sister. Of course, he loved his sister and didn't really fear the woman. But he knew how pissed she got at her twin brother and how frightening it could get.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
When the glo appeared in the distance, Ian actually smiled big and wide, while a drop of sweat ran down the back of Kingsly's head. He nodded to Chi, knowing full well how much trouble he was in. However something was bugging the other twin, where in the hell was Ethan? He walked closer to his enraged sister and those several glowing eyes, he could tell it had been a while since he had been home because it took a while longer for his eyes to adjust to the dark than he expected. "You asshole!" "Hey now!" He protested, yet he had to fling his arms up to protect his eyes from any flying debry. Kingsly had gone and disappeared somewhere while Ian wasn't looking, leaving him to face his sister on his own. Gotta love those loyal pokemon. All of Damian's pokemon knew to steer clear when Pandora was upset at him, just as Pandora's pokemon stayed away as well. "I didn't come for the free food, sis, I swear! That's just a pleasant bonus!" He would have explained hismelf further but he saw his sister flying at him, and felt his heart jump into his throat. However an unsettling calm settled over the gym as her arms wrapped around his waist. The wind died weither Pandora meant to let it or not, it was Ian's doing. How was he supposed to talk ot his overemotional sister with the wind rushing through the dark hallways. With the softest sigh he snapped his fingers and the candles surrounding the walls lit up again. "What do you mean he hasn't kept in contact?" He knelt down to hug his sister around the shoulders, albiet hesitantly. Damian didn't want to get punched in the face. Soon his expression changed from concerned seriousness to realization, "He's eleven now!" A hand flew up to slap him in the forehead, "Of course he wouldn't be home! Come on sis, stand up." If Pandora didn't protest, Damian would help the gym leader back onto her feet. Brushing the tears from her cheeks he smiled, "Ethan's a good kid, he'll be fine, Pandora.. He still breaks all of his PokeNavs doesn't he?" Now the more calm, cheery twin adopted a contemplative look and snapped his fingers. "And I came all of this way to give him his birthday present.. damnit.." A whispery chuckle could be heard from the shadows, a different pair of red eyes showed, it was Ian's Banette, what was the ghost-pokemon laughing about?
Pegasus Monroe Carlisle. Mossdeep City.
___The man crossed his arms and leaned to his side a little as he inspected the girl before him. Julia had just asked him about visiting his farm, which did indeed exist outside the city he had just spoken of. He spent majority of his time on that city, so why not keep busy with some kind of hobby? The wind continued to blow, and this caused a small smirk pass his pale lips. He had lived by the deep blue long enough to know that a storm was on it's way. "Why don't you show me a few of your Pokémon, Miss Julia. I'd like to see what kind you are currently carrying." He suggested as he walked over to the edge, giving a soft whistle this time. "Dragon, a storm is heading this way, time for you to come back." He gave a laugh when he heard the giant beast roar, taking out the Great Ball from his pocket. The Pokémon gave one last dive down into the sea, scaring a school of Magikarp, before jumping into the air once more. The red beam from the Pokéball surrounded the Gyarados before the beast disappeared. Pegasus turned his attention back to the girl, once the golf-sized ball was clipped back on properly on the strap of his messenger bag. "So what do you say, Julia." The Elitist leaned his head down and he lifted the girl's chin, smiling in an innocent, but superior manner. And oh, the sweet manner he said her name. Was this man flirting? Even I was a little unsure.
Cecilia Rosario Bellerose. Petalburg Woods.
___"Honey likes all kinds of berries." The girl muttered as her Pokémon stuck its tongue out at her trainer. She took the Teddiursa from her shoulder and placed her beside her, taking the Bluk Berries from Ethan. The Pokémon had her cheeks puffed up, but when her friend handed her the berries, she gave a happy squeal and indeed began to eat them. Cecilia smiled at her Pokémon before paying attention back to the boy, which only lasted a moment when she felt and heard the loud thud. Honey didn't seem to notice, being too busy enjoying the berries, as Cecilia's expression momentarily changed into a startled one. It was quickly replaced with a confuse one when Ethan burst into laughter. She had heard him say a name, which she swore she had heard before. But she shook it off, putting it aside for now. "I've got a first aid kit in my bag..." Cecilia was finally able to say as she unstrapped her bag, opening it and looking through its content. It took her a moment, but she soon found the kit. "Um, here... L-Let me see y-your face.." She slightly stammered and blushed as she got closer to him.
It really didn't take her long to deal with his burns, though she could tell that this wasn't the first time he was burned by the irritated Pokémon. "T-There you are.." She scooted back as soon as she was done, putting her things away as a soft wind blew through the trees.
Pandora Matrona Desrosiers. Mossdeep City.
___Pandora didn't struggle as she was helped up, feeling her tears be wiped away. "B-But he stills has to keep in touch! H-He knows how I w-worry!" She protested, hiccuping as she fought back even more tears, feeling them build up inside her. She felt two pairs of purrs as Espeon and Umbreon came up and rubbed against her legs, giving her looks that meant that she should calm down. The woman gave on last hiccup before taking a deep breath, calming herself as she took a step away from her twin. She was instantly back to the former Pandora, which could be seen with an irritated look on her face. "You come now to give him his present!?" She snapped, placing her hands on her hips in an angered manner. "You stupid bastard." She growled and punched him, hard, on his chest. "You better hope the Elite Four send someone to come gather your body... Because there is no way in hell that I'm gonna bury you here." The woman clicked her tongue and walked away from her sibling, muttering curses under her breath. Mismagius' dark chuckles could be heard.
Artemis had been simply standing in front of the entrance into the Petalburg Woods, wondering if she should really go through. There were so many other ways to get around without running through dense forest. She almost sat down as there was a sudden flash of red and a small yellow mouse-like creature ran off into the woods, crying excitedly. "Pi! Pichu!" It exclaimed happily as it turned around to face her, giving her a nasty look and sticking out it's tongue. "Hey! Tyma, get back here!" Artemis yelled out as she ran into the woods to chase after the little Pichu. Sometimes she just couldn't stand the little yellow Pokémon.
There was a soft mewl from her shoulder as she felt Shiva clinging to her shoulder. Artemis apologized softly as she tried to chase the Pichu. She had her Poké ball in hand, trying to get the creature to return, but it simply kept running around. Artemis had to let out a sigh of frustration as she reduced the size of the ball and put it away, giving chase once again. She was almost out of breath, but she simply had to get the Pichu back into it's Poké ball, even if only to save herself the explainations of the creatures bad behavior.
"Pichu!" The little creature exclaimed as it burst full speed into a clearing. "Pichu?" It said curiously as it tilted it's head slightly to the side, looking at the two Trainers in the area. Artemis finally caught up and snatched up the little Pokémon. "Give me a break once in a while, eh Tyma?" Artemis asked softly, calmly scolding the Pichu as she took out her Pokéball and forced it to return. Tyma struggled for a little while before the red light completely engulfed it and she was forced back into the Poké ball.
She looked up and saw that she wasn't quite alone. "Oh! Well I'm sorry to intrude. My Pichu is always running off on me." She said as she added in a soft giggle. Her long auburn-brown hair was tied back at the moment with what looked like a fancy ribbon. In all technicality, it was supposed to be an accessory for a Pokémon, but she liked how it looked in her hair. She smiled brightly, but wasn't sure if there was more to say, Shiva was just repositioning herself on her shoulder. Artemis smiled and pet the top of the Skitty's head.
It was really boring sitting around in the gym all day, even if he had fought with a couple of inexperienced Trainers already. For the most part, there was a lull of decent activity in Lavaridge Town and Mars was a bit bothered by it. Olivia, his Houndour was on his left hand side, and Shayna, his favorite little Eevee was on his right hand side. They both had been watching the battles he had fought, and he was glad that they were interested in battling. He sighed as he got up and called on one of his friends, another Trainer that he sometimes asked to look after the gym whenever he wasn't going to be around. "Keep an eye on the gym. I'll be up the mountain to get some fresh air." He said as he pulled a Poké ball from his pocket and called for Olivia to return.
After a moment, he turned to Shayna, who was watching him intently from across the room. "Aren't you coming, Shayna?" He asked with a well pronounced sense of enthusiasm and warmth. He loved Pokémon, even if his soft spot was mostly around Eevee evolutions, not that anyone but himself really knew that. When acting as Gym Leader, no one else ever really saw him get flustered over other people's Eevee's or their evolved ones. But when he was not acting as Gym Leader, he could be himself a bit more. "Eevee!" The little creature ran over happily and followed him out the gym door. It was time for another interesting day. Sometimes just going up the mountain and gazing at the volcano was interesting enough for him. Sure he had gone travelling a few years back, but it wasn't nearly as interesting as living near a volcano and hot spring.
---
Karin was walking around Rustboro, not really sure why she was here in this bland city, or at least, she considered it to be bland. She had her long dark hair up in a bun, fake glasses over her brown eyes. She was dressed like a well-to-do business woman, looking nothing like a member of Team Rocket. Her expression clearly showed her distaste for the city was was currently in. She wasn't there on orders, she was just there, simply for the reason that she was travelling, trying to seek out Trainers, or at least, good places to steal good Pokémon from good Trainers. She wasn't so sure that Rustboro City was the best place to set up shop, and normally it was Grunts or Liutenants that really did all the work.
Sometimes she did in fact enjoy the pride of a job well done, but for the most part, she was often simply sent to watch over the progress of Team Rocket Grunts. She was glad to be able to be one to give orders than have to take all of them herself. She looked down at her side only to spot the usual sight, Flora, her Roserade, was out of her Pokéball as usual, wandering by her side. Karin let out a soft sigh as she began walking around again, simply to look like she was busy. She didn't want to appear too comfortable standing in one spot for too long. "This is a waste of time." She said, her soft honey voice sounding rather grim and dark. It was her usual attitude towards everything, something that she never even thought about changing. "Come on, Flora. We might as well look busy." She said it firmly, but just warmly enough that the Pokémon didn't dare leave her side.
Ethan grinned big and wide when the Teddiursa took the Bluk Berries, in his mind he believed that the Teddiursa was accepting his unspoken apology. He continued to pet Mouser, hoping that the Rattata would calm down soon, and so he did, while Cecilia took care of the burns on Ethan's face. He giggled, apparently quite ticklish, and that might be the only reason that it took any length of time at all for Cecilia to take care of the boy's burns. "Thank you Cessie!" A nickname already? He moved forward tossing his arms over the girls's shoulders in a brief hug that upset Rattata from his lap. Chattering with annoyance, the mouse pokemon walked over to sit next to the edge of the patch of grass that Gerifarig was in.
That's when they all heard a Pichu burst into the clearing, Ethan looked over curiously, and Charizard's tail twitched. The Girafarig really could care less, it must have been a tasty patch of grass. Unfortunately when Ethan landed his green eye on the trainer of the Pichu and smiled at her, Charizard heard her voice and rolled over, settling his red eyes on the new girl. Standing up quietly, the Charizard walked up behind Ethan, looking down at the pot of cooking food to make sure he didn't knock it over as he tried to be quiet, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "That's okay! Mouser can be just as much of a handful, I'm sure." Ethan was unaware of Charizard's presence, gesturing towards the Rattata sitting and glaring at Artemis. Girafarig noticed Charizard and let out a startled noise before the large dragon pokemon tossed his head into the air and let out a deafening roar, his wings causing huge gusts of wind, that made Ethan's hat go flying. The smile dropped from the new trainer's face and he looked over, shielding his one good eye from the debry, catching sight of the fire for the food going out. "Charizard!" He jumped to his feet, snapping into an unexpected anger. "Cut it out right now! Just because you're bigger and stronger than everyone else doesn't mean that you get the right to bully and scare them!" This was the first time that Ethan had every yelled in anger at the large pokemon, ever since he found out that the Charizard had been switched for his Chimchar, he had been trying to appease the unhappy pokemon.
Charizard stopped sending gusts of wind over the area with his wings, and sat quietly, shocked at his trainer. "Charizard, Return!" Ethan held out Charizard's pokeball, the red beam of light engulfing the dragon pokemon. Charizard didn't resist, actually he looked vaguely sullen before he disappeared into the pokeball, which was shrunk and placed inside his jacket before trotting over to grab his hat, which as near Artemis. The boy immediately looked apologetic and sad. "I'm sorry about that, he doesn't like listening to me yet.." He looked over to Cecilia and the dead fire, it looked like there were tears in his eye. "I'm sorry Cessie... Oh man.. the fire went out!"
The wind was picking up, Girafarig was looking at the sky as dark clouds started to appear overhead.
~~~~~
Damian sighed, nodding. However he didn't know how to console his distraught sister that their little brother Ethan would be just fine... probably. He broke into a large grin when she seemed to calm down, flinching when she snapped at him. Then she punched him and he winced, taking a step back. Ian really had to stifle a laugh, or otherwise the next punch would be aimed at his face. "Aw, c'mon sis..." He was pleading as he followed her, a Haunter showing up behind him, making faces. "You really wouldn't bury me in Mossdeep? We grew up here, surely you couldn't stand to be parted from your older twin for all eternity like that!" Try as he might to appear worried and sad, he just couldn't pull it off because he kept smiling. "Come on, Pandora! I forgot that he was 11 this year! And to think that I got him this really neat walking staff.. I thought me like like it seeing as he has a fascination with bones y'know..."
Damian stopped and looked up at the ceiling, thinking. "He is such a weird kid.."
"Kro!"
Whirling around Ian expected to see a Murkrow but instead caught sight of a Haunter pulling the sides of his mouth as far as they could possibly stretch, tongue hanging out. The Elite member couldn't help himself and fell to the ground laughing, Murkrow giving the Haunter an irritated look before jumping on Damian, pecking him on the head as he rolled about laughing. Then the sound of purring started, an second Umbreon appeared from no where and pounced on Damian two. Jack the Haunter was floating around the group of madness making faces. "I missed you two guys! But you're killing me!"
~~~~~~
In her mind Demonia was irritated that Monroe avoided answering her question and changed the topic to her pokemon, but she knew that she had to continue acting the part of 'Julia', and a confused look came over her face. ...Oh!" But she was allowed an extra moment to think as to which pokemon to show him as he turned to his Gyarados and announced that a storm was coming. Sadly she watched the Gyarados return to it's ball, taking careful note as to where exactly the pokeball was replaced. Demonia was actually caught by surprise as she felt her chin lifted up, and a natural blush flared across her cheeks. "I... uh.. " That's when her luck ran out and a white light appeared from her belt, a Houndoom showing up to weasel it's way between the bodies of Monroe and 'Julia'. "Des!" The Team Magma Lieutenant was upset, but the Houndoom just smiled at her, tail flicking back and forth before casting a nasty look at Monroe, growling. With a heavy sigh, 'Julia' motioned at the Houndoom. "That's Des..." On the inside she was upset, why did Des have to jump out?
Demonia already broke the norm by owning electric-type and water-flying type pokemon. Thinking about it she should show him Dragonair and Raichu, however she found her Dragonair almost too precious to share.. But so too wasn't the red Gyarados? So she smiled, petting Des and pulling her over and away from biting-range of Monroe. "And I'm soo sorry! She gets really possessive.. It's almost impossible to have a boyfriend with her around..." She sighed heavily, still blushing. "Des, please behave for me?" The Houndoom was used to her trainer's antics of acting, it didn't take long for the pokemon to snort and look away. Demonia smiled. "Good girl, Destiny return!" And the pokemon was pulled into her ball by the typical red light. "Monroe, if it's going to storm, shouldn't we find shelter somewhere?"
Artemis smiled excitedly as the Charizard reared it's head and flapped it's wings, but her Skitty was not nearly as impressed. Shiva landed on the ground, digging in with her claws to prevent being blown away. Artemis held her ground until the young Trainer put the large dragon away. "Oh it's alright, been there, done that." She said with a wide smile as she turned around and picked up the scared Skitty. "It's okay, Shiva. You're ok." She said warmly, kissing the head of the little pink cat. She listened to him talk to the other trainer, a girl, and Artemis looked up at the darkening clouds with a hint of confusion in her eyes. "We should head for shelter, or at least find some cover." She said lightly as she looked back in the direction she had just come from. "I just came from Rustboro City." She added with a pure smile. She was pretty darn certain she had come from that direction and that it wasn't too far from here. "If you prefer to stay here, I can at least help with the fire." She said uncertain, kinda more or less wanting to return to the city and find shelter. Shiva purred lightly in her arms and she smiled, knowing the Skitty was just a bit nervous, though happy that she was being held.
Cecilia Rosario Bellerose. Petalburg Woods.
___A light brushed spread across the young girl's face when she was given the brief hug, the Teddiursa had stopped munching on the almost gone berries to give the human boy a warning look. Though she was slowly starting to accept him, she wasn't going to allow anyone get too close to her Trainer. The Pichu startled the Trainer/Coordinator and the Teddiursa almost got up to attack it, but that blasted Charizard began his tricks. The young Pokémon dearly wanted to attack the lizard/dragon as well, but it was returned to its' Pokéball after being scolded by its' Trainer, causing the bear to giggle. Cecilia sighed and gave a look to her giggling Pokémon, indicating for her to behave before she stood up and smiled at the new person. "That's quite alright. I have an Eevee with a similar behavior." When Ethan apologized to her and then mentioned the fire, the girl shook her head. "Don't apologize, it's not your fault. I'm Cecilia by the way, this is Ethan." The brunette introduced herself and her new friend as she eyed the food before she heard an all familiar noise. One of the Pokéballs clipped on her belt had just let out one of her Pokémon. Sighing, she turned to stare into the eyes of her Persian. His fur was on ends as he stared at the nearing dark clouds, causing the Trainer to frown slightly. "Is it that bad?" The girl asked her feline Pokémon, who nodded, purring in an unhappy manner. This made Cecilia sigh once more. "But we just got into the forest. The contest is in a couple of days.. We won't make it in time unless they cancel it because of the weather." There was a slight whine in her tone as she spoke to no one in particular, falling on her knees and allowing her hair to shadow her face. Teddiursa looked just as upset, but the Persian looked around the area. Pokémon in the forest were running for shelter, feeling the incoming storm. The feline nudged his Trainer and purred, urging her to return to the town they had been in only hours ago. Catching the point, Cecilia nodded. "Alright." Standing up, she turned to Ethan and the new girl. "Looks like we have to head back to Petalburg, the storm coming in is gonna be a nasty one." She petted Persian as she took out two Pokéballs. "Thanks. Ian, Honey, return." The two Pokémon disappeared into their Pokéballs, and after clipping the minimized mechanisms back on her belt, Cecilia's attention was back to her fellow Trainers and the incoming dark clouds.
Pandora Matrona Desrosiers. Mossdeep City.
___As Damian pleaded, Pandora merely flipped her hair in an uncaring manner. "If I bury you here, your damned spirit will never allow me to rest!" She growled and continue walking, heading towards the back of the Gym. The back of the Gym had a kitchen and a few sleeping quarters with personal bathrooms, but it wasn't really their home. Their actual house was behind the building, not inside it. Hearing her twin continue speaking, her eyebrow twitched. The Espeon and Umbreon by her side both shook their heads as they walked off, knowing that it was best to leave their Trainer alone with her sibling for the time being. "He's weird? You're the one with the personality disorder." She thought with irritation as she turned on her heel, glancing at the of her twin and his Pokémon before her Absol caught her eye. The Pokémon's fur was on end as it stared at the ceiling, amazing how well her eyesight was in completely darkness, no? The candles in the Gym barely helped at all. "What's wrong, Rei?" She asked her as she walked over to the Absol, who growled. She was called the Disaster Pokémon for a reason. Chi appeared beside his trainer, an unhappy look on his features as well. "She feels a threatening storm approach. It seems hurricane season has come early this year." The Psyshic Pokémon easily heard the Dark Pokémon's thoughts. Pandora frowned. "Looks like we have a job to do then." She spoke as she looked at her twin, meaning he had to help as well. "You know the rules, you want to be in my good graces, help out. We gotta make sure everyone in Mossdeep is in their home safe and sound." Pandora turned on her heels once more and entered the back of the Gym, heading towards the room she used to change into something less revealing, something that won't allow her to catch a cold while out running around in the rain. She knew that a lot of teenagers in Mossdeep were going through the "Heroic" phase of their life, believing that they could do something to stop the deadly weather, but all they ever did was get in the way. You think one would have learned by now as to not get in the Gym Leader's way?
Pegasus Monroe Carlisle. Mossdeep City.
___Pegasus chuckled when the Houndoom weaseled its' way between him and its' Trainer. When the dog Pokémon was pulled away from him, he kneeled down to inspect it at a safe range. "You're Houndoom has a nice coat. I can tell that its' been in a lot of battles, so its' strong. Maybe even aggressive?" He knew better than to try and pet the Pokémon. "Possessiveness means you two are really close. You've had her for a long time, right?" Amazing, no? This was the way he found appropriate challenges for Trainers that are lucky enough to battle him. He usually challenged Trainers in ways that tested their friendship with their Pokémon or either once's patience. He smiled coolly at the Fire Pokémon before it was returned back into its' Pokéball.The question Julia asked made him shrug, walking over to pick up his coat and dusted it off. "I'm staying over at the Mossdeep Gym with my friend and his sibling. If you don't have anywhere to go, or prefer not to stay at the PokéCenter, come on over. But expect to see rattling windows and objects flying. The Gym Leader and her sibling don't get along too well." The Elitist walked over to the woman, a small smirk on his lips as he leaned his head forward, lifting her chin up once more. Before the Houndoom had another chance to escape from its' Pokéball once more, Pegasus calmly planted a kiss on the girl's lips. It lasted only a moment before he turned on his heel and walked off. "See ya." He waved, not even bothering to look back at her as he walked off towards the Gym. Whether or not she followed, it didn't matter much to him. What did matter was that he had to enter a Gym that was always in completely darkness, or so how he heard it from Damian. Sighing quietly, he stood in the front doors of the Gym, not even bothering to remove his dark shades as he entered the building.
Ethan wiped the tears from his eyes and looked at Artemis with a slight smile, listening to Cecilia's opinion on the coming storm as well. Ethan hadn't noticed, but his Rattata was growling, fur standing on end as it looked at the same oncoming clouds as Girafarig. Though he sighed when both girls suggested that they go for shelter and walked over to the small camp he had made, packing it away. That's when Mouser jumped onto his shoulder, chittering away at it's trainer. "Okay, okay Mouser! I get it." He laughed and pulled out his pokeballs, calling Girafarig and Mouser back into them.
Standing up he had successfully packed away his cooking gear, and poured the stew into a container. He looked from Cecilia to Artemis, not sure which one was right as to whether they should go to Petalburg or Rustboro. I should probably get a new PokeNav... Slinging the pack onto his back he looked a bit confused and concerned, pulling his hat further over his face. "Thank you for the offer with the fire... But we should head to a town.. But which one is closer?" Out of a pocket in his jacket he pulled out an old, torn map and a compass. In a glittery red pen he had made a dot where he had decided to set up camp before Charizard started to rage. With a little consultation he looked to Cecilia apologetically. "I actually think that we should follow... um.."
That's when the 11 year old finally realized that he hadn't learned Artemis's name yet. "Miss lady from Rustboro!" He blurted before taking a few steps past the two ladies, then turned around, map in hand, held tightly against the building wind. "Rustboro is closer, and this way!" Turning on his heel, he started down the path, vaguely wishing that he had a bike perhaps. Or a flying pokemon... or... a Charizard that behaved, but he certainly couldn't ask the dragon for any help. Besides, Ethan was really worried about his sister back in MossDeep. They were positively surrounded with water, and whenever a large storm came around that Mouser didn't like... Well it typically didn't do Mossdeep any favors.
~~~~~~~~~~
All it took to end the fun of Damian and his pokemon was a single phrase: "Hurricane Season". The long haired man sat bolt upright, and his pokemon grew solemnly silent. The sound of a pokemon being released from its pokeball was the only sound to break that silence, as Eggsecutor appeared, sitting down. "Ah Crap!" Hopping up on his feet, he tossed five pokeballs into the air, "Come out everyone! We have a job to do." He waved a hand at his bossy sister, attitude entering his very body posture.
"Yeah yeah, Sis. I know what to do." Kingsly appeared from the shadows, a Banette hanging from one of the spikes on his crown. "Your sister must be really mad at you."
"Hush it Kingsly, Hurricane season has come early."
"Oh dear."
"That's right, so everyone needs to go to their stations, Mr. Mime, stop hiding behind Janis. You're going with Brutus and Smoochum to make sure the other side of the island is ready for the storm..Oh! Mr. Mime, find Pegasus and bring him here."
After sending each pokemon out to their respective spots, he was left with Jack the Haunter, Kingsley, and Lilith. They followed him to his sister's room where he entered really without knocking. "Are you going to go to the weather station, or would you like me to?" He smiled, "Or perhaps we should go together. I sent out everyone to their usual spots on the Island... My friend Monroe is great with storms too, so he'll be of some help.."
He almost mentioned that his fellow Elitist had a Gyarados, if he said that now, then Pandora would probably make fun of him for having such easy to train pokemon.
~~~~~~
Demonia was sweating a little when Monroe knelt down to look at her Houndoom, but blushed and grinned when he complimented it. "She might be a little aggressive..." But Des was already in the pokeball and no longer a threat to Monroe, or Demonia's mission. "I haven't had her as long as a few of my others.. but we've been through a lot together.." What was this bashful behavior? She adjusted her sleeveless-sweater, as it was starting to slip off of her shoulder.
Yet as Monroe described the gym leader and her sibling, 'Julia' looked a little flustered. Really it sounded like an exciting environment, having been raised with fire pokemon, especially temperamental and rebellious ones, Demonia could typically handle a few ill-humored humans.
A kiss?! 'Julia' was bright red, or perhaps it was more Demonia. After all, Monroe was attractive. How dare he?! What a player!" Furiously in denial, she was able to keep her expression that of pleasant shock. As Monroe walked away 'Julia' regained her senses and jogged after Monroe, keeping bashfully quiet and fidgety until they entered the gym. "Woow! It's so dark in here, I can't see anything.." A Mr. Mime running up to them as they came it, making it unnecessary that they really had to navigate. "Mime mime mime mime, Mr. Mime!"
The psychic pokemon was jumping up and down in front of Pegasus before taking his hand and dragging him deeper into the gym towards where Pandora and Damian would be found. "Mime?" He looked at Demonia, and shivered, hiding behind Pegasus as he received a cold and unfeeling glare from the Team Magma member.
Artemis could feel Shiva purring lightly in her arms, it was a comforting thing that helped the Skitty when she was nervoue and Artemis kissed the top of the pink creature's head. "You'd probably feel much better in your Pokeball, huh?" She asked, but it was more of a statement directed at her cat. Shiva mewled a little and Artemis pulled out the white Premier ball that had been used to capture the little cat a long while back. She clicked the button and a red beam enveloped the pink cat and it was gone a few seconds later, safely stored in the now golf sized ball. Artemis replaced the ball in a pocket within the folds of her skirt. She laughed as Ethan made clear that he didn't know her name. "My name is Artemis." She said with a bright smile as she turned in the direction she had come from, which also happened to be the direction the boy was heading in. "I was pretty sure Rustboro wasn't far from here, I only just chased Tyma into the woods, and that didn't take too long." She said with a thoughtful look on her face. "We could definitely make it in good time if we run from here." She added after a moment. "Are you a coordinator, Celia?" Artemis asked, shortening the name just so she wouldn't have to pronounce the extra syllable.
---
"Looks like one nasty storm heading this way." Karin said as she watched the sky darken around Rustboro and she looked down at the Roserade by her side. The plant pokemon seemed very uneasy and the Team Rocket Admin sighed as she looked around the city. There were plenty of places to go to for shelter, it was a rather big city. She took a deep breath and settled for going into the Pokemon Center nearby. Flora reached up and tried to tug on the fabric of the long silk skirt and Karin sighed. "Yes, I suppose you're right. Flora, return." She called as she took out the right pokeball and the red beam enveloped the creature. She entered the Center and was greeted by Nurse Joy who was busy checking the pokemon of several different trainers, many of which were taking shelter there. It looked like there was quite a turnout for the Contest to be held in a couple of days. It might be a good place to try using her charm to snag a few pokemon, there were bound to be some good ones among these trainers. Though it might be a better idea to wait until she had some grunts to do the dirty work and to take the fall should they fail.
Mars looked up at the sky and frowned at the darkening clouds, even Shayna was looking rather worried, and she was usually good with bad weather. "You think it's going to be that bad, Shayna?" He asked and the little fox-like creature made a sort of noise in it's throat. Mars bit his lower lip and sighed. "Alright, looks like we're headed back to Lavaridge until this weather clears out." He said as he began heading back down the mountain. He hadn't really gotten too far to start with, so it wouldn't take too long to make it back home. Shayna stayed close but Mars figured the weather would get worse soon, so he picked the little Eevee up into his arms and carried her home that way. "Wouldn't want to lose you, now would I?" He asked with a smile. "Eevee!" Shayna exclaimed happily as it pratically snuggled into his chest, making Mars laugh at the little brown creature's behavior. "Yes, you are definitely the cutest." He said to the Eevee, though he was also saying it to himself.
Cecilia Rosario Bellerose. Petalburg Woods.
___Rustboro? Cecilia bit her lower lip as she considered the distance between the two towns from their current location. People from Petalburg had told her, at best, the journey would take at least two days, but was that the response they gave every Trainer? If both Ethan and Artemis seemed sure of the proximity, she would not argue, and mentally took note to consult her PokéNav first before asking for directions the next time. She caught a worried look appear on the young boy's face before she heard the other girl question about her chosen path. The Coordinator smiled as she nodded her head. "I am. My mother was my inspiration for becoming one, but I'm a Trainer too. What about yourself?" A very light color spread across her cheeks at the nickname, it didn't take much to make her blush. And it was usually the small things that did. The clouds, she noticed, were gathering faster than ever which made her purse her lips. "I think we should start running." She suggested quietly as she began to quickly walk towards the direction she had been walking towards before she had ran into Ethan.
Pandora Matrona Desrosiers. Mossdeep City.
___Just as Damian entered her room, Pandora has finished slipping on her trench coat. Underneath one could see a black turtleneck, form-fitting jeans, and almost knee-high boots over said pants. Her hair was up in a quick, messy ponytail as she slipped on some sunglasses. How quick she was when it came to changing. "We'll go together. You can keep an eye on that area afterwards." She quickly walked passed him, and even though it was a serious time, she couldn't help but smirk. "At least I don't have to tell my Pokemon to go to their spots." She muttered, though she was still a little pissed off. As soon as Pandora entered the main part of the Gym, she narrowed her eyes when she heard an unfamiliar voice, and saw two figures she never had seen in her Gym, nor in her city, before. Seeing Mr.Mime walk up to the man did make her relax a little, but the way he acted towards the girl made her upset. Unfortunately, now wasn't the time. Not even bothering with introductions, the Mossdeep City Gym Leader spoke in a very authority-filled voice. "If you have any Pokémon that can stand the winds of hurricanes, or just merely stand the drenching rain, now would be the time to bring them out." Pandora buttoned up her coat before talking towards the door, past the two new arrivals. She stopped in mid-step though, and turned to the girl. "You smell like fire. You won't be much help. Stay here and watch out for villagers that can't get to their homes in time. My Shuppet will stay with you." Well, wasn't she a nice person? Of course, she had to be straight-forward. She couldn't have victims during the coming of these dangerous storms.
Pegasus Monroe Carlisle. Mossdeep City.
___Pegasus didn't expect to be greeted by his friend's Mr.Mime, nor did he expect to be directed in such a manner by the city's Gym Leader. None of this bothered him though, and watched as the woman walked out of the Gym. A smirk passed his lips as he glanced towards the back of the building. "Your sister is very bossy. I see where you get it." The man noticed how the Psychic Pokémon reacted towards the woman beside him, but like the Gym Leader, merely recorded it in the back of his head. "I do believe Miss Desrosiers is right, Julia. Stay here, it would be much safer for you." He now removed his shades, lowering his head so it was closer to her ear. It was hard to see, but his heterochromiac eyes were glistening with slight playfulness. "Ian, is there any way to spread some light in this dark place?" The Elitist asked as he stood back up, lazily glancing around the room.
