I've done a bit of babysitting, that was easy. Quiet, well-behaved middle class kids about the age of 7-12.

I went to the post room this morning to see if the game was there, and it wasn't.
Then I checked my e-mail and they said it was there but in the back and I had to sign for it, so I have it after all <3

Going to lounge in the sun with a book first... maybeh.
I just spent £15 at M&S on a lunch, dinner and a snack. XD

I'm having pasta with baby tomatoes and feta cheese and basil tonight... and feta's expensive, and I also got some parmesan and extra-virgin olive oil. Pricey x_x
Should be a nice summery meal.

I don't think I'd work well with kids. XD
I wouldn't like to cope with little monsters, but as long as they're well behaved and know the rules of the house then I'll be fine. >_>''

Yaay! It's fun. I love my little Ghost Hunter. XD I'm going to aim for an inventor next...
The tattoo's are so fun to play with. I hope there's a way to use your own images...that'd be epic.

I've been lounging in the sun all day. My legs still look white. ;_;
M&S is expensive though, but their food is worth it, its so nummy. I'm jealous. XD
That also sounds tasty, and I'm jealous. I'm not 100% sure on what we're having...we have meatball things, a salad, some eggs and various other bits...it'll be good in the end though.

Aww...the sun has gone behind clouds. D: It's been a nice day. :3

I haven't done much in it, I'm playing an old family. There are two sisters, one's a doctor and the other's in law enforcement. The new husband is an interior designer, but I dislike it because you have to pause the game lots to build.

Lol, at least they're not red. My shoulders have burned.

I haven't eaten yet. I had a late lunch, and periods screw with your appetite.
Looking forward to some mummy-cooked meals <3

It was sunny all day here, not a single cloud.

Sorry Voe, but I missed you.

@zeapear - I think I recognise you... >.>

Gah, it's nearly 5am. How many sunrises have I seen lately? xD
I assumed I'd been playing The Sims 3 for ages, but it was less than 3 hours - I just loaded the game at 2am. o3o

It's supposed to be super sunny and warm today. I will try and wake by 11. Nothing on today except a meal with friends in the evening... I'll continue reading this trashy sci-fi novel, "The Snow" (apocalypse)

I've not tried out Interior designer yet. But I'm kinda bad at decorating the houses. XD
I tried out Inventor last night and literally I'm running back and forth to the scrap yards every day to find more scrap. Unless you buy it, but I'm trying not to cheat for once. XD

My dad's girlfriend always make yummy meals. We have a few German things as well seeming she's German. I tend to ruin their favourites because they both love spicy food and I hate it. XD My dad was unimpressed by the plate of salad he got yesterday.

Hello Voe and zeapear! ^_^
Nice to see more faces appearing.

I'm back in the garden with my laptop. Dad and girlfriend are out getting some luggage racks attatched to their bikes so it's just me, the sims and the cats. It's nice being able to sit outside now and then, it's better with the laptop though...all hail wifi!

Ew, salad. xD

I'm looking forward to trying the various professions. I built Charles Brooker's large house from scratch (his second house), I copied a house plan from some website for property people, and now Charles + wife are deceased, and his 2 daughters + 1 husband are living there.

The unmarried older daughter topped the law enforcement career, and now is half way up Science. I've never had a scientist before, you need so many skills, (gardening, handy, logic) but I realised that she had 8-10 in all of those. xD
She's going to be childless.

The younger one is a doctor, married to a professional painter, and she's just reached level 10.
They have 60,000 in the bank which I'm not sure what to do with - I reckon I'm going to build an awesome house for a child of theirs, who will become a mad, rich ghostbuster or inventor or something.

I just came in from the sun to play sims XD

Ahh I remember raiding house plan sites to build houses in the sims 2. XD
I'll have to do that again for my new family.
I started to explore the detective proffession. It's the best I've tried so far. I feel like my sim is a proper detective searching around for clues and questioning people.

I had a scientist in my last game before I had to restore my laptop. It's really tough getting their skills up from scratch. x_x

That's one epic family so far. XD
60,000 will probably build a nice home. Probably not a big one, but still a nice one if you get expensive stuff on the inside. :3

I had to stop playing Sims now because of Doctor Who! I won't miss it for anything. XD

Yeah, detective should be fun :3
I want to try the new neighbourhood but I've got so far with this family I want to stick with them...
I'm sure I could build a big home for 60k, just sparsely furnished. Like, I might build several bathrooms and bedrooms, but only use one of each to start with.

I need to catch up with Doctor Who, went out tonight for a meal.

Would have been better if I didn't feel weird and ill. At least I didn't overeat, I ordered a starter and a side (ate half of it) and a small dessert (ate half) and it filled me up nicely.

Yay, there's a thunderstorm!

Huh... I don't what to do with myself today. Going shopping tomorrow, and leaving on Tuesday. Maybe I could start packing up... but it'll only take a couple of hours.

I went out last night for a meal as well. I had a yummy curry and then got back and watched a movie with my dad and his girlfriend.
I've had a nose around the new neighbourhood, not visited any families yet. I love the Bayou lots. They're not expensive, but it's a nice little touch. XD
My poor sims can really own a shack near 'crocodile infested waters', though I doubt they have crocodiles in the game.

THUNDERSTORMS! <3
We didn't have one. Just rain while browsing through B&Q.
Packing doesn't take that long. I did all of mine the day I went home. The hard part was getting it into the car.

Hey Purple! No need to feel out of place. We're all nice here. :3

@ Ria - we're going to get a takeaway tomorrow night, just because it'll be a last opportunity. I'm not sure if I even want one that much. xD

That's the first time I've ever seen Bayou written down, I didn't know it was spelt like that.
I had a similar experience with the Thames, many years ago... except, I read it before I heard it. x]

B&Q... going to have to go on a little shopping trip to kit out our house for next year.

That's really cool Purple, never talked to anyone online who's even from Africa.

I have no idea what's for dinner tomorrow. Take out would be nice, but we were lazy and had KFC today because we were out all day. I'd get one...just for the memory of the last take out in dorms. X3

I saw it written down in Urbz (lol I played that game to death) but it was a while ago and for ages I always spelt it as Bayoo. XD
Now I know how to spell it! Thank you sims for teaching me how to spell a word!

Ikea is where my other room mates are going. I'm back in dorms because it's easier for me and the other girl. :3

Woo! I love Egypt. <3
You're the first person I know online from Egypt. ^_^

Huh, we call it halls/flats. :3

Mmm... KFC... ick, I need to finish some bacon, but I can't have a bacon sandwich for breakfast, then lunch in town, (we're shopping), then a takeaway! I'd actually be in pain. x__x
I think some moderation is called for.

I don't know anything about Egypt, apart from two of its cities.

Well, I vaguely know about ancient Egypt from Horrible Histories. xD

I guess you can call it anything really. Dorms, Flats, Halls...all the same in the end. XD

KFC is the only fast food I'll eat and enjoy. Mmm Bacon...I'd probably eat that in a day, I'd feel bloated and heavy, but it's so worth it. XD But yeah, moderation...probably how I ended up gaining weight eating like that. >_>''

I went to Egypt for a holiday a few years ago. But sadly I was no where near the places I wanted to see. Instead we just went snorkling off the coast of Sharm El Sheikh. Ahh...Horrible Histories...I loved those books. I still do. XD They make history seem fun and enjoyable.

Yay I have tea! It's quite cold today. Shame all the sun is gone. ;_;

I had my bacon sandwich, and most of a wrap at KFC. Bought a dress from Debenhams 8D
We're not getting a takeaway after all, we're just going to eat our own dinners then team up to watch a movie. (The Matrix and/or Pineapple Express)

Until then, I'm packing. My books box is insanely heavy. XD
I just need to finish folding clothes + sheets, and scoop some final nick-nacks from my shelves into bags. I'll deal with my bathroom things and kitchen stuff tomorrow morning.

The cartoons were the best, sometimes I just read those XD

*sips a can of diet coke* At least the end of term was mostly sunny. Shame about the weather now, June is forecast to be a bit wetter and colder than average. Fingers crossed for my birthday, I want to go to a theme park cuz I'm cool.

Sounds like a fun evening! ^_^
I had left over pizza and watched Drag me to Hell with my dad and his girlfriend. I was disapointed it had a predictable ending. ;_;
I tend not to like Horror movies that have predictable endings. And it wasn't that scary either. Failure of a horror movie.

Packing is mad. I think my book box was the heaviest as well. Thank you Norton Anthologies...I still need to unpack most of the stuff. I've got random items scattered all over my room. XD I just can't be bothered to sort it all out.
It has been a really sunny end of term. It's nice. Shame it's raining here now. Well, on and off all day. it's miserable.
I'm hopefully going to a theme park this weekend with some friends. :3
So excited! I've not been to Alton Towers for aaages. >_<

I'll like almost any horror movie there is, so long as I can be scared/laugh at it with friends.

Norton!! Yes! xD I hate them.
My floor is just covered in bags and stuff now. Unpacking is not fun. >.>

I want to go on a week day, so we miss the school crowd. Looks like it'll be 30th June - not sure if we'll do Chessington or Thorpe Park. TP has the bigger rides probably, but I do like Chessington.

We were going to do a weekday...but then someone is working every day during the weekdays, so it has to be a weekend. D:

Oh...my...god...
Sims 3 just crashed on me...while I was going to edit the daughters hair...I haven't saved for a while...
I'm so angry I'm going to bed. XD
She had aged up as well and the son had aged too...oh my god...I've got so much to do all over again. D:

That sucks D:
I'm very paranoid about saving lots. I'm still into my game, even though it's been like a week now. My third generation brother and sister are quite promising. The boy is going to be a hunky popular fireman, and the girl is going to be evil.

Why is the weather so baaaad? Dx

I think I will save more often now. Or at least before I decide to change the appearance of a sim. >_>''
The family I started was into their 5th week or so...I'm playing on long so I have more time. I don't know if my sim has still mastered the Detective carreer...I'll find out when I start it up again.
Yaay! Firemen! My town is in short supply of male firefighters. Every one I've met has been female.

Just gone mad with custom content. XD
You can never have too much of it.

The weather is really miserable. D: That rain shower was quite refreshing but I don't want 24 hours of rain...that's just depressing.
