This is a fanart i started working on for someone on dA to go along with one of her stories, so the original style started out more Anime-ish. But with how much work i'm putting into the actual piece now I'm turning it into a portfolio piece for school so I'm gradually pushing the character more towards realism.

I still have a lot of work on the background to do and pillars (putting it off as long as possible o.e). For the character I'm going to redo the eyes since everyone at school insists they're still Anime-ish. So once those are done i have to move them down a bit cause the nose looks too long.

Any other suggestions on what can be done to improve it? :o

O.o
Thats beautiful!
My only suggestion would be to make the feet just a little bigger, right there it loks like she might fall over :)
Great drawing, I love it!!!

The leg proportions are off but I suggest looking online for a similar pose to see how the legs are suppose to be spaced. She also does not have a female body... I guess the structure of her walk makes her a little odd. I would try to develop a little more "hip" to her... Just to give a natural female body feel.

The wings should have more detail. It looks like you are straying to a realistic manga style, and I would like to see you develop more of a natural wing feel... Though it is up to your preference. It looks artificial with that style wing.

The one side of her hair needs more development.

If course this is only a WIP with a long way to go.

Best alternative is really work on her proportions.

lol she did look more curvaceous before i added the armor plating at her waist. I'll have to tweak the armor since its been making the torso look too long. I could try slimming the waist down just a bit to see if it'll make it more feminine.

The leg proportions were difficult for me to figure since she's suppose to be walking toward the viewer, so i did try lengthening the front one a tad bit. The other one I'll try adding more contrast to push it back more.
