Maria kept her eyes closed for the whole car ride, only opening them once they were in her driveway. She laughs a bit. "As long as my parents don't kill me tonight than I will." She laughed more and got out of the car "See ya tomorrow Shadow" She said as she closed the car door and walked up to her front door

"Goodbye." Once he saw that she was safely in the house, Shadow left for home.

Maria was effectively grounded for skipping class and was told to go to bed after doing any homework she had. She merely nodded and went up to her room and layed down, thinking about the day she had. After awhile she decided that it was worth it and fell asleep.

Shadow slept soundly at home. He could indeed sleep, due to his specific breed of vampire. Silverblood vampires could sleep, while some others could not.

Maria slept soundly all night and woke up quickly to her alarm for another day of school. Once she was ready, she got on the bus. Slowly she started to wonder if Shadow would ever start giving her a ride to and from school every day, since the little children on the bus are so annoying. Once she arrived at the school, she put her things away and then went to the entrance stairs to wait for people to arrive, since her bus got there super early.

Shadow also arrived there early. He'd woken up super early and gotten bored at home, so he'd decided to just head in early. He parked his car--which stood out in the parking lot--and headed for the entrance.

Maria waved to Shadow from the stairs to the entrance of the school. She was happy that he had gotten here before any of her friends had. Slowly she started to wonder if she would hang around any of her friends anymore. After all, Lanina could have made them all turn their backs on her.

Shadow waved back, politely. "Good morning, Maria. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who came early today...I woke up super early and got bored just sitting around...so I decided to just come in."

Maria laughed a bit at his answer. "Good Morning. Unfortunately I'm not here early because I was bored. My bus is always earlier than the other ones. Only good thing about it is that most of the kids are tired in the morning..I think that is why the bus driver makes sure to be early."

"Ah, I see..." Shadow paused, then nodded to himself. "If you would like to get a few more minutes of sleep rather than catch such an early bus, I would be more than happy to drive you in."

Maria thought about his suggestion for a bit and then smiled. "that would be great. My parents don't wake up in the morning so they wouldn't know either, and therefore couldn't care about it."

Shadow nodded, smiling. "It is a deal, then. I can give you rides home, as well, if you want...I have no life, so I have an ample amount of free time..." he joked, smile turning into a grin.

This time Maria beamed at the idea because it meant absolutely no more dealing with little children on the bus. "I'd love that...." Her statement sounded a bit weird to her so she added, "the kids on the bus are a nightmare after school."

"I'd imagine," Shadow murmured, sympathetically. Other students were beginning to arrive, but he paid them no mind.

Maria noticed some of the students arriving to the school. She only let her attention be distracted for once again she was worried about Lanina. Also she was worried about what some of her other friends might do. "Do you want to wait around inside of the school?" She figured that would be the best way to avoid her 'friends'.

Shadow smiled, aware of her concern. "Sure. I don't mind. Where to?"

Maria smiled some. "We can go wait in our first hour class room. The teacher normally doesn't stick around in the classroom and students don't normally go in there early."

"Certainly. Let's go..." Shadow headed inside with her, walking the mostly deserted halls contently. Once he reached the room, he held the door open for her, politely. "Ladies first."

Maria happily followed him and slightly laughed at Shadow's gentlemanly act. "Thanks." She then walked into the class room and sat down in the seat next to the one Shadow sat in before. The room was indeed lacked a teacher in it.

Shadow sat down with her, smiling. "So, how was your day yesterday, after I dropped you off?"

Maria frowned some. "I went to bed after a lecture that my parents decided to give me."

"Oh...I'm sorry," Shadow apologized, politely. "That was probably my fault, for encouraging you to skip class...my sincerest apologies." He spoke like he was ten times his age...which he was, of course.

She shook her head and sighed some. "Don't be sorry. In the end I was the one to decide to skip anyway."

Shadow sighed, then his smile returned. "If you say so...I still feel a little guilty, but I am fine. I hope it didn't cause you too much trouble with your parents..."

Maria shrugged some. "Well it won't as long as I don't do it every day and I keep my grades up. Honestly if I keep my grades up in that class than they can't complain...or shouldn't complain."
