Sylvia looked up at Jaden and the nurce from the bed she was laying on slightly confused. "How can I as a human get sick with a demon sickness?" she asked in a soft but scratchy voice.

Jaden looked concerned at the nurse then smiled towards the girl. He had to force it out knowing what a demon sickness could do to a human. It happened to his child hood friend who was a servant to his family. She happened to be human. She said the same sickness had been in her family and killed 2 of her siblings. The others just started to gain powers that they couldnt control or master, or started to deform. She deformed into a sprite, or something close to that. He looked to the nurse for some help explaining.

The nurse looked at Sylvia then sat down on the bed next to her and grabbed her hands. Cupping them, she spoke in the sweetest voice she could. "Sweety, a demon sickness is only called a demon sickness because only demons survive it. Most humans dont but there are the ones that start to deform or gain powers. Only a demon in this school with a power of sickness could have brought this upon you. Maybe an air borne pathagen. I dont know but I will take care of you so you wont die. After all, your the first human to be in this school. Thats a feate in and of itself." She smiled at the girl.

Sylvia felt the color in her face drop even lower then it already was and her skin tremble slightly in fear for her life. She wanted to cry but she couldn't and also she didn't want to at the same time. The nurse spoke so kindly to her and it just made her feel like she could trust some of the demons here... Then again there was Cora who almost killed her in the bathroom and that definitely scared her.

Jaden looked at the girl from where he was standing. He didnt really know what to do for her or how to do it. "Sylvia, your going to be fine. Believe me ok... The nurse wont let it kill you like you may be thinking."

The nurse gave her a hug. "Its ok sweety. Ill take care of you. Like Jaden said. I wont let anything happen to you."

Sylvia nodded as she looked first at Jaden then the nurce.

(IDK what to write now I kinda want to say it's a few days later and Sylvia hasn't gotten better though if you don't mind doing that I would like to post first unless you have an idea)

Days passed and Sylvia only seemed to get worce every time she woke up. Every day she slept a little longer until she slept a day straight... Though she did wake up the next day. The nurce was truly starting to worry about the young human girl as her sickness progressed and hurt her that much more. She just couldn't keep anything down but that was the least of their worrys. "Jaden... I don't know how to help her... We've tried everything I can think of and that's quite a bit... Maybe we should aprotch this from a differant angle..." The nurce said as she looked at Silvia's sleeping form. She was referring to a much harsher aprotch then what they were using and she knew he didn't want to do it. They had spoke of it quite a few times in the last about week. The nurce along with several others thought it best if Sylvia was changed though that was treturouse in and of itself.

Jaden brushed his hand through his hair, concerningly. "What can we do? Shes getting worse every day. Its been almost a week...." he looked to the side, thinking about what they could do. "I have a better idea. Youve been looking at this from a human approach. Why not try looking at it from a demon approach. Treat her like she was a demon. I mean, this is a demon sickness isnt it?"

"If I do that she'll have more risk of getting worse.... Or dying... We've already disused this, you know that." The nurse reminded Jaden softly as she shook her head sadly. "The best chance we have is changing her, even just a little, Just so she can have a better chance at the treatment." She said softly as she looked back at Sylvia and felt slightly guilty for even suggesting it.

Jaden sighed. "But shes a human. If you change her, she wont be human anymore. Have you even done this procedure before? There has never been a human admitted to this school." He was so worried he wasnt even giving them room to breathe. "Look... Im sorry... I know i was wrong just now but i cant stand the thought of what might happen. Shes been like this for days and its just worrying me..." He brushed his hand through his hair again. "Alright... do the procedure. Only if you think itll work."

"I have done this before and I know what to expect..." The nurse said calmly then looked at Jaden with caring eyes. She knew he cared much for the human girl she could see it in his eyes and she wanted him to make the choices on what to do since they weren't aloud to tell Sylvia's family anything about this. "I want you to make the disition for her... Full or parcial... And what type?" the nurse asks softly hoping she wasn't putting too much weight on Jaden's shoulders.

Jaden paced a bit, running his hand through his hair while his other one was on his hip. Why me?...I shouldnt be the one to make this decision... im just a kid... what would she do well with?... Ugh... this is so hard. Who couldve done this to her... I GOT IT.. I know what to do. With a sigh, he stopped in front of the teacher. "Partial shapeshifter. Shed like that i think. I think shed like to keep part of herself human as well which is why i say partial." He was sounding much older tan he was at this point. It must have been all the worrying and stress. Sitting down on the bed next to her, he looked up at the nurse. "What do you think?"

The nurse looked at Sylvia who curled slightly at the shift in weight in the bed and smiled with a nod. "I think that would suit her well... Theough mind, you she'll only have small forms... and I don't think she'll trust verry many of us for a while." She said looking back at Jaden then sighed. "I know I probebly shouldn't be leaving this kind of stuff up to you... It's just, you seem to be the only one she realy trusts around here and I don't think that'll change." She said softly then sighed again "I'm sorry... Please leave for a little bit, get some rest, I'll have them call you when I'm done." The nurse said softly as she walked next to Sylvia and nudged her soulder slightly which woke her up.

((Sweety, Jaden sat on the bed across from Sylvia, not on the same bed))

Jaden shook his head. "Its ok... I understand that im the only one that she trusts outside of the human world. Thank you for helping her. Besides if she turns into small animals, itll be cute and she can get away from people she doesnt like, easier. Though theres also that downside but oh well." He laid down on the bed. "If you dont mind. ill go to sleep while you do the proceedure on her... Is that ok? or should i be there with her?"

(Ow sorry :sweat: didn't see that )

"What are you guys talking about?" Sylvia murmured in a week voice as she looked up at the nurse and the nurse looked to Jaden wondering if she should tell her the whole storry and decided that was the best idea. "Jaden I am warning you if you choos to come in the room that it will not be pleasent... She has to be parsialy awake for it." The nurse informed Jaden softly and looked at Sylvia apologeticly as she started to explain what she had to do and the procces of it. Sylvia didn't know what to say and looked behind her slightly to see Jaden and sighed softly as she sat up with a groan to get up for the nurse to take her to a small soundproof room off of the nurses office.

Jaden shook his head when Sylvia spoke. He didnt want the proceedure to be done but they had no choice. He helped her up so she could walk with the nurse. "I... I....uh... I wont be able to stand it" He sat down on the bed looking at the woman take the girl into the sound proof room. He wouldnt be able to stand the screaming, to watch the proceedure itself.

The nurse nodded in understanding as she took Sylvia into the room and shut the door... Two houres later the nurse walked out with her head lowered slightly in shame of how she had just taken the young girl away from most of what she knew and loved. "She's asleep right now and everthing went fine... Though her body did have some trouble axcepting the new DNA." She murmured softly as she looked at Jaden hoping he would be ok.

Jaden waited patiently for the nurse to get out of the proceedure that took two hours. When she entered the room, he stood up quickly. This didnt look good. Her head was hanging low in shame or something. It started to give him the wrong idea.

What have i done. She cant be dead. Please dont say shes dead. I wouldnt be able to live with myself knowing i was the one that had sent her in there.

He looked at the woman with solemn eyes in anticipation of the news. With a sigh of relief he closed his eyes. "Dont scare me like that... You made me thing she was dead...." THats when the last words sunk in. "What do you mean trouble... what happened with the DNA?"

"I'm sorry." the nurse said apolojeticly then paused for a second biting her lip. "Well at first the DNA caused her pain... More then what is expected... Then it didn't seem to change anything... Well anything good... She actualy got a little worse. But as the proceedure went on I noticed that the little hints of demon I was giving her to make her at least a third of a demon weren't enough for the sickness and it worsened her condition that much more... I had to make her a little over a falf demon to make the pain go away." the nurse explained softly then shook her head "I.. I thought I had lost her at one point cuz she didn't breathe for a few minutes but then picked back up... It didn't feel right, changing her, she's so young... And now she'll be stuck in that age for quite a while... What will we tell her family? She was telling me the other day when you were asleep that her sister was being abused and the only thing she wanted at the moment was a hug from her brother and sister and to tell her sister everything was ok." she murmured shaking her head, then her face went slightly pail as she heard Sylvia gasp in pain.

Jaden was almost delirious from what the woman was telling him. The DNA wasnt working in Sylvia. She had to give the girl more in order for her to survive. He could understand that. The process made him sick though. The girl was so young and now she was going to look that young, no, be that young for the rest of her life. He shook his head. "Her family wont know. Promise me. Her parents would just beat her over and over again for being what she is, or theyll outcast her. She wouldnt want that. What she wants is for her sister to be here with her and her brother, also, to be out of harms way. Thats what she wants. We cant let her parents know. We just cant ok? Promise me."

The nurse nodded in understanding then thought for a second over Jaden's words. "What about her brother and sister? She wants them here, yes, but how could that happen? Her brother is out of school and working and her sister... Well how could we get her in? Sylvia will have trouble but telling her that she won't be able to see her siblings until she has more control? That could take years! And you know as well as I do how depressed that could make her..." She murmured shaking her head then peaked in at Sylvia and smiled relieved that she was still asleep and she wasn't breathing so hard.

Jaden knew the nurse was right. Her parents were one thing. Her siblings on the other hand were different. She had a better connection to them. He knew that since she had told him everything that was going on with them. "I have an idea.... Open the phone lines to her. She needs to be able to talk to them. The only thing is that she cant tell them anything that has gone on here, including the proceedure. This will give them peace until she can control her powers. Also have the teachers notified that they need to take special care and give extra help, to help her control her powers faster and more efficiently. How does that sound? Its the best option i can come up with."

(The nurse just told him that her lerning how to control herself could take years :sweat: )

((Yeah and he wants it to go faster, thats why he said hype up the learning of control for her.... His disreguarding the years thing))

"If I make her learn control faster it coud be treturouse! I won't do that to her!" The nurse said dissagreaing with Jaden as she crossed her arms. She didn't want to risk the young girl or her syblings getting hurt.
