@Pip: regarding this, nothing personal, my character's just trying to halt an escalation of personalities which would otherwise likely result in something quite bad for one or both of our characters.

No, she did not touch him. I would've put that, because it would've been interesting writing it if she had.
Those short bursts of sentences are meant to represent Darcy's way of thinking. I think that what she means is that she wants to keep quiet, and give him some rests, but her brain simply won't keep quiet. She has so many ideas, that one seperate conversation follows the next, simply because one little fact links with another. When let free, she goes at an impossible speed, she has been used to speaken fast. She seems spontaneous, impossible and has far too much fun when there is danger. She seems impossible, and irritated by silence or 'dullness'.
She talks to herself, after a long time of not having anyone.

I think that summarises her quirks and the way she speaks and thinks in that post. Sorry to cause any confusion.
Thing is, I use more advanced speech in real life. I don't here. It irritates me without end.

I'm sorry, it must seem like I'm incredibly inept at typing, but I keep thinking different words than those that I'm typing and I don't proofread all the time.

Embeth is a good character with an interesting style of interaction; her youthfulness and troubled past makes it easier for someone to be a parent to her.

Dia, you can't take all the meat out of the sauce as it was cooked with it. The tomatoes will have taken on the flavour of it.

OMG last night was amazing.
First and best party I've ever been to.
Though, this morning I woke up with marshmallow in my hair...o.0

Now that is odd o.0 The bigger part of the people wake up with hairs from other people, kissing marks, and the smell of alcohol. XD Marshmellows though, are new o.o
