The Missing

It was in 2013 that an Air Atlantique flight was reported to have crashed in the middle of the pacific, with no possible survivors. An extensive search of the area was made, using all the latest equipment in order to find the lost aircraft, but the wreckage was never found. The search for the craft was finally called off in 2014 after thirteen months of tiring searching, and families of those victims weren't given the bodies of their loved ones to bury.

That's how the report goes, anyway.

The plane did crash in the pacific, but the coordinates were incorrect. The plane actually landed on a tiny, 10 square mile island. The reason for the crash is unknown, but what is known is that there were survivors; thirteen people were spared the fiery death the rest of the 137 passengers suffered. On the island is a thick forest , that covers the slopes of a tall, extinct volcano like hair. The trees in the forest range from coconut trees, to fig trees, to banana trees, to passionfruit trees. Pretty much a tropical bananza. What it doesn't have is electricity, ready-made shelter, easily-made fire or prepared food. Oh, and no way of communicating with the outside world.

You will play as one of the thirteen survivors, starting from a few minutes before the crash. If you want, you can make up a reason for the plane crashing, and describe in detail what happened afterwards. Make a way that you escaped the plane before it hits the ground; the crash would kill you.

Bio: Cara was born in Wales and raised by her parents until she was thirteen. They then divorced, and her mother moved to California to study as a doctor. Cara lived a fairly boring life with her parents (and later just her father), and was a bit of a nerd at her girls-only school. She'd always been a bit scared of flying, and was terrified out of her mind when it was going down.
