the Story/Setup
At Ipswich Academy boarding school, students enrolled are just like everyone else. Only, all the students are in fraternities. But, these "frats" are different from your typical Greek Housing. These special housing groups were actually created around ones' species. You read that right, species.
Sons and daughters of different factions of witches (like Wiccans), warlords (dark mages), vampires, werewolves, psychics, and anything imaginable, and, of course, a human or two. However, all the students enrolled in the school act and look as humans because, should they be caught using their powers or in their true form, they would be expelled, or worse... killed.
Ipswich Academy, the religious private school, seems to attract just about everyone. Yet, only those with superior grades and service are accepted.

Abilities: Using her tattoo’s she can cause a wide range of spells with a mere flick of her wrist or wave of her hand, from growing wings from her back to summoning a messenger/familiar to manipulating the elements….except for fire…she is unable to do any fire spells. Weaknesses: Terrified of Fire to the point that she can’t move, to use one of her tattoos she must be able to touch it with her hand, she can do so with clothing in between.. However as Van grew up, the spirits began taking forms of various creatures that began interacting with him inside his head, occasionally taking possession of him to release his innate psychic powers. Much to Van's dismay, his parents were not only strict but extremely superstitious as well. Thus when they saw Van, making his toys move and float around him when he was sleeping, they sent him off to Ipswich Academy to be with ‘his own kind’ or get their demon child exorcised. Abilities: Van mainly displays weak forms of psychic powers such as seeing auras (which to him are just floating balls of flames) as well as a weak telekinesis and telepathy, since he can only lift objects of certain weight and distance and can only hear shallow thoughts. However, Van has high spiritual awareness that allows him to see and interact with spirits of various kinds (e.g. elementals and demons to name a few). Occasionally but not always, due to him being a pacifist, Van is able to and will ask the spirits’ help who then let him borrow their powers to use but only for a short while. When this happens, Van’s telekinesis will be amplified according to spirits’ abilities. Weaknesses: Being a pacifist, Van is generally weak in physical combat opting to just stay out of fights and conflicts or run as fast as his legs can carry him whatever seems appropriate at the time. Also being spiritually aware, Van is prone to possession from various spirits, whether they be benign or otherwise, who often wreak havoc using Van's body and innate psychic abilities either for pranks or misconduct. Has a serious allergy with the sun which often makes him faint or dizzy, making him even more vulnerable to possession so you’ll never see him without an umbrella and long dark clothing. Theme Song: Through the Iris - 10 Years I Sound Like This:Henry Lau Other:Dri (pronounced as Dry) is a sprite (a baby spirit) of an old fruit tree that Van use to play in, pick and eat fruit from as a kid before it was cut down. He resides in a ball jointed doll that Van made himself from the left over wood of the tree. Usually found on Van's head or inside his hat when Van wears his hat. Dri is prone to throw nuts and fruit at people when he feels that Van is distressed or will try to get help when Van is possessed. One of the main key signs of that Van is possessed is his eyes changing colour. Van is prone to get nosebleeds when he is near the person he likes or finds someone attractive.

Since Minh was a child, he always had the freedom of the blacksheeps and grew up having a almost supernatural (in that his parents can interact with ghosts and him playing pranks with his psychic powers) and carefree childhood. It was as he got older that, his intellecutal prowess allowed him into the main Le family which began his rebellious years, where he acted like the way he is today, an out-of-controlled idiot and/or crazy wannabe gangsta.
As Minh grew up, he met Van (a relative, family connection is unknown possibly cousin though) who was often imprisoned in the house to study and perfect the piano, that Minh began interacting with the other boy. This is when both boys, despite the time constraints and multiple personality clashes remained good friends, almost like brothers. Minh would often look out for Van and sometime get him out of some of the piano lessons he hated whilst Van would often try to cover Minh's misdeeds around the house. Minh is going to Ipswich mainly because he got expelled from his last school for inappropriate behaviour as well as the fact that that the school is rumoured to be a school of the supernatural and that Van was also attending there. Abilities:
Minh displays more skills than Van in that as a child Minh has perfected his telekinetic skills, being able to read information off of items and people through psychometry and is able to read most minds. Unlike Van, Minh can't he actually see any spirits nor actually have any spiritual awareness which Van considered a blessing whereas he, Minh, considers it bad luck. Weaknesses: Being quite the flirt, Minh is prone and shown to be easily distracted by anyone that is extremely attractive. He is also prone to possession as well since some find him easy to possess due to the lack of spiritual awareness and the fact that the some of the Le men in the family were easy to possess in general. Also tends to misinterpret information from his psychometry. Weapon(s) of choice: Prefers not to fight but if he has to, he has his fists and kicks to rely on since he really enjoys martial arts and kickboxing. Likes: Extremely attractive males and females, playing practical jokes and pranks, playing video games, rap and dance music and teasing Van. Dislikes: Being possessed or having Van getting possessed for him, conventional rules, uptight authority figures, losing his DS, doing hard work and cleaning. He let her take a shower, eat his food, wear some of his clothes, and he even bought her new clothes. Melana loved this man like a father, and never drank his blood. After two years of caring for Melana, this man dropped her off at this school and then never came back for her again. Melana was sad for a little while, but got over it and now shows kindness to everyone.... but she still loves to suck their blood. Abilities: Melana can turn into a bat and fly. She can manipulate others thoughts. For example, if someone figured out that she was a vampire, she could change there thought to something like: Oh no she isnt a vampire, she just looks like one... or something like that. He was asked to come to this school by request of that patient’s parents, who feared for her mental safety. Abilities: Has super strength that he’s a bit embarrassed about. Also knows the human (and non-human) body so well he can identify and individual’s pressure points, soft spots, etc. Weaknesses: Sunlight causes harm to his skin, and can’t force himself to do anything if someone he knows could be in danger. Weapon(s) of choice: Normally just uses his strength, but also carries a handgun in his pocket at all times. Likes: People, card games, therapy music, occasional cooking, people’s smiles, blood. She was taken by the Warlock Jeremiah hated brother of Aaron. Aaron intended to take both twins but Jeremiah stole the other sister.
He ‘trained’ her savagely, chaining her to a wall and attacking her with lightening as well as his pet bat familiars whenever she disobeyed or messed up. Slowly she grew colder, becoming a good actress. She made him believe that she had submitted to his will, that she believed herself truly his daughter and would destroy any enemy… including her sister. In actuality she was just making herself stronger so she could someday escape and save her sister from Aaron.
Finally at 16 she finally got her chance, Jeremiah having made a mistake of lowering his defenses around her. She had not revealed she had learned to absorb energy through touch you see, so she drained him of energy enough to weaken him then finished him off with a dagger of ice…at least she thinks she did. He’d trained her to be an assassin, but truly he trained her too well.
Fleeing his tower she quickly tracked down her sister, always able to sense where she was. Finding her sister locked in a small cage she freed her, escaping with her and traveling far. Stumbling on Ipswich she and her sister decided to join… to try to get a ‘normal’ education… as well as to hide there from Aaron. Abilities: Control/create Ice as well as shadow, Fly, turn into various feline forms, drain energy through psychical touch. Vampire reflexes/senses. VERY fast even for a vampire. Telepathically speak to anyone she’s bitten, Telepathically speak to her sister as well as sense her sister‘s location. Very good at Martial arts, relies on her speed when fighting. Weaknesses: To much sunlight, Fire, Werewolf venom, when her sister’s hurt she feels it too, wounds will even appear on her body. The word Bat or seeing a bat can make her freeze in place with remembered fear. The sound of thunder or electricity will also paralyze her with fear. Weapon(s) of choice: A bladed metal staff she can summon from a ring she always wears. It has the ability to separate into two pieces. Likes: her sister, darkness, cold, cats, beautiful things, dressing up, poetry, reading. She was attacked by a crazed man with a magical ability to manipulate strings of energy. As he cut her with them she managed to summon Ariella, her blade and companion. Ariella cut through the strings and she managed to defeat the strange man who ran away shortly afterward as her father approached. Since then she’s closed herself off from all but her father and magic, spending more time talking to Ariella then any living being… he hopes this school will help change that and broaden her horizons…. Abilities: She can casts spells but only via blood sacrifice, she particular excels in blood summoning, I.e. she can summon objects or creatures via a sacrifice of her own blood. The amount is in proportionate to what she’s doing, the harder/stronger the spell the more blood it demands in payment. Weaknesses: Blind as a bat without her glasses. Anemic/physically weak due to her spells requiring what they do. Intensely afraid of being bound/tied/suffocated. Weapon(s) of choice: A talking sword of solidified blood and metal named Ariella. It is the first summoning Riya ever did and seems aware of what’s going on with Riya even when not summoned. It is the only truly sentient thing she summons, the others just shadows of her will, while Ariella seems to have a soul and personality of its own. She also has a ring with a sharpened edge which she uses to cut herself when she needs to cast her spells. Likes: Magic, Ariella, animals, music, experimenting with magic, daydreaming, thinking Dislikes: Repetition, unimaginative people, having to stay on one topic for an extended period of time, rope, being unable to see Other: her hair was blond originally but thanks to one of her failed experiments became blue and now grows out blue. Due to embarrassment she just says she dyed it this color.

After that, he ran away. Becoming an amazing street-preformer and infamous thief in the city, Mo lived a pretty good teenage life. Eventually, though, he bored of it and traveled on to new places. He attended this school originally to run away from his own dept to pay. Abilities: Amazingly, even though Mo is probably one of the most oblivious people on earth, he still has amazingly fast reflexes and speed like a snake. (The only problem with that is he doesn’t exactly realized he’s dodged something till afterward) Sharp senses that he doesn’t always pay attention too. He also summons snake familiars by using the two round (they look like alchemy) tattoos on both of his hands and another on his eye. Yes, on his left eye, thus why he wears an eye-patch (the one on his eye summons Medusa). Also carries a book for making other summoning circles. Weaknesses: Absolutely cannot be in the cold, not only does Mo hate it but he cannot summon snakes. He himself cannot do any kind of element magic, so he’s left at a disadvantage when it’s cold. Medusa, Mo’s beloved familiar, actually takes a human form. Don’t let her size and looks deceive you, she is a disaster awaiting to happen. Standing only 3 feet off the ground, she has snake fangs and can actually light herself on fire either when attacking or angered. She “took” Mo’s left eye as punishment for looking straight at her the first them she was summoned.

That is Youko’s greatest wish. Abilities: VERY strong, even for a werewolf. Senses of a wolf, able to turn into a part wolf/part human form as well as either a grown werewolf or werewolf pup. Her claws are nearly unbreakable and can cut through almost anything. Her howl if done within a few feet of you will cause a person to pass out or faint. How long they stay under depends on their will power. She can also telepathically communicate with her sister but only her sister, some say it’s something to do with their twin connection and some say its because her sister is a vampire. Very good at Martial arts, relies on her strength when fighting. Weaknesses: Silver, Vampire venom, when her sister’s hurt she feels it too, wounds will even appear on her body. Claustrophobic to the point that small places and places with no light so she can’t see the walls give her panic attacks. History: Shinku's family died in a car accident on her 6th birthday. The accident was a train accident as the opposite train crashed into her train. Her and her friend Maria were the only survivors. Though the vampire that saved Shinku because she had actually died saved Her Brother Devon. Unknowingly Shinku had the vampire saved her and sent her to an opposite Hospital that her brother went to. Shinku has or had a boyfriend but he had beat her and still does and he tests on her with other being's blood and different mixtures. Shinku's boyfriend is a vampire like her but since he bit her they have a contract and he always knows where to find her. Shinku works as a nurse as does her best friend Kitami Risa. Abilities:Shinku can control lighting and fire and other witch spells as they are very powerful spells. Instead, she put that envy into hatred, for both mortal and demon. She turned into a cold-blooded killer, murdering both summoning demons like herself and escaping to the human realm for slaughter too. This earned her name "Murderous Mistress Medusa."
A now dictator over the realm, she was surprised about randomly being summoned by a meer... boy. She was outraged, and immediately lunging to kill him. Instead, the boy dodged her attack to his throat and she only got an eye. A bit upset about the fact and hiding some of her respect for the human boy's skill, she said she'd take it as punishment for looking down at her. She returned to the demon realm after that, to find that a revolt had brewed up while Medusa was missing. Having nowhere to turn, she snuck out of the demon realm once again and stayed with the young warlock boy, who had run away from the house he was in.
After awhile, she began to tolerate him... a little. And to protect (mostly) herself, she made a deal with him. She gave back his eye (sort of, he can't see out of it) and merged her soul with his. This causes two things to happen. One, when he dies she does too (She had always wanted to be a mortal and eventually die). Two, there's no possible way for Medusa to be killed unless Mo is killed. Note: She has a sort of 'deal' with Mo. She took his left eye, and via it (even with eyepatch) can see all that is happening around him even when she is not summoned and can come and go as she pleases.
Nure-Onna (I actually based this familiar off of a snake-woman In Japanese mythology)) Personality: She's very polite and motherly to a select few, but doesn't get to show that often being that she's only summoned when needed to attack. Otherwise she's pretty solitary and a wee bit vain as well, but that's just because she has such pretty hair. Abilities: Has immense strength (especially in her tail) even though she has such a skinny (sea snake-like) body. Also controls water mentally, making her sort of like a sea monster. Like all snake-summons, she has pretty fast speed and reflexes and has a poisonous bite. Plus she can take blood out of someone with only using her tongue or her long fingernails. Weaknesses: Any sort of sudden loud noise stops her and makes her off guard. The baby on her back is very important to her, and she's at a loss without it. History: Not much to tell, actually. She doesn't have much off one. Note: She's the familiar who's summoning tattoo is on Mo's left hand. Unlike Medusa, Nure-Onna cannot even look human. She has a human head, but the rest of her body is inhumanly skinny, snake-like, and almost boneless (yet she can stand upright). She also has a long sea-snake tail, so she cannot be out among normal people. She also carried a little baby on her back... and if you question her about it she won't respond.
Wrath and Storm Personality: Doesn't exactly have one. This is a beast familiar, so it's basic though process is really 'follow what master orders' doesn't have emotions or such. Abilities: One head (the one with the orange eyes, named Storm) attacks with electricity: Thus electric bolt and things of that sort come out of it's mouth. The other head (with the pinkish eyes, named Wrath) attacks with fire: So it breaths fire and things to that extent. Both heads have speed and a good amount of strength, plus too heads are better then one! *Also has the basic poison bite. Weaknesses: Too much light can blind them, isn't that slightly ironic? History: What history? Note: They're the familiars (well, they are one thing) that is one Mo's right hand. Can't miss them, they're pretty giant (12'8 counting the heads)
The Wiccan:
Those who belong to a religious belief of being one with Nature and never harming others. The Wiccan are generally women, who are more in tune with Mother Nature, although males do exist. They practice White Magic.
The Vampires:
The children of the night. They have a tendency to drink blood, but not all of them depend on it for their survival. They are creatures who prey on the life force of others, and have the capacity of turning others. They are rather sensual beings whose strength, speed and power surpass humans.
The Werewolves:
The berserkers. They are turned or descendants of those who can shape-shift into wolves. They have super-human strength, speed, stamina and incredible self-healing abilities. They tend to be brash and impulsive.
The Psychics:
Indistinguishable from normal humans except for their uncanny abilities, which include but are not limited to seeing the future, telekinesis, telepathy, and seeing spirits. They tend to be of a reserved nature, and easily influenced by their powers.
The Humans:
Just your average humans, their parents placed them in this school for religious reasons. What could their purpose be in this magical place?
