Luchen growls quietly, swimming around. He's been waiting over an hour for his sister to come back with food. He stays hidden under the water, only small ripples showing any movement. He sits on a rock under the water and yawns. Being a merman he can breathe easily underwater, so hiding is quite easy. He's also a tad anti-social, so he stays away from most other merfolk anyway.

Katima swam away from her lovely palace as she swam she got closer to shore playing in the reef giggling as she talked to a fish that said it was playing hide and seek. "All right I will play only if you can find me a seashell." She giggled as it brought one back and she placed it in a bag like thing on her waist as she swam off. "Count to ten!" She went behind some rocks snickering.

Luchen swims around in circles until he hears a female voice. His body tenses and he glances around, not recognizing the voice. After a moment, he darts behind some rocks, silently. He looks around carefully as he does this.

The fish ended up finding her as she laughed swimming to a deeper part of the reef where a baby shark met her. "I'm sorry Katima but your father wants you home for the feast." She sighed nodding. "Ok I will Daraar."

Luchen raises an eyebrow as he hears her talk again. His eyelids droop when he hears his sister calling for him, loudly and hyperly. "Idiot," he grumbles, not moving.

Katima heard yelling as her eyes widened she swam swiftly behind a rock bumping into something... "s..sorry." She whispered out glad that her baby shark was already gone.

Suddenly a flash of yellow and silver flits past the rock Katima is behind, coming to land on Luchen. "Luuuchiee!" The girl squeals. "I finded you." Luchen just floats there. "And so did half the sea by your screaming. Now stop being a demented lamprey and get off of me." The way the girl is hanging off of him shows the top of his head, and his orange hair.

Katima was wide eyed. She didn't know what to do....so she darted to the next rock watching silently.

The girl whines at Luchen. "I am not a lamprey. I resent that comment, brother." Luchen snorts. "Well stop being a pain, you're scaring people. Jesus, Orianna." It seems he knew Katima was there, and made no attempt to talk to her. Orianna looks around. "People? Where?"

Katima pushed against the rock. "Please oh please do not let them find me." She whispered as she saw something shiny beside her. Picking it up she saw it was a locket...Her grandmother told her about them. Opening it she saw it was empty so she slid it on smiling.

Luchen nods at the rock. Orianna lets go of him and goes over to Katima. "Hi! I'm Orianna! What's your name?" Luchen pushes himself up a bit to watch them. Now that he's visible one can see that he has bright pink eyes and is very attractive.

Katima waited for a second then smiled. "Hello I am Katima Amma... Nice to meet you." Her purple hair flowed back as she giggled slightly. "Orianna who is he?"

Orianna stares at Luchen. "That's my grumpy, anti-social brother, Luchen!" Luchen rolls his eyes. "Nice to meet you." He mutters this, staring at his sister.

"How are you? I am Katima...Princess of my land." She smiled and laughed.

Luchen grunts in response. "Sister. Food. Give me." Orianna stares at him for a moment. "Um..." She then looks at Katima. "You're a princess?"

Katima nodded. "Why yes I am...I'm actually suppose to be heading home now." She frowned. "I don't like banquets that much... They are always loud and over-rated." She laughed.

Luchen stares at Orianna for a moment, before cuffing her upside the head. "Stay here. I'll be back." With that, he swims away. Orianna nods. "Sounds not fun." She rubs her head a bit.

"It's not really just boring...also it gives me headaches. I'm going to have a ball soon." Katima said smiling.

"Oh? What kind of ball?" She looks quite interested in royal life, and her silver eyes sparkle as Katima talks.

Sighing Katima looked up at her. "One to find a future husband unfortuantly." Another sigh made bubbled come out of her mouth making her smile and laugh slightly.

"Ew. My uncle tried to do that to me. I...um...scared him away." She giggles as Luchen comes back. "Hi hi, Luchie." Luchen grunts and hands her a fish. "Here. There's more in the cave."

Katima sat and thought for a while. "Would you guys want to come too?" She paused for a second. "Or at least be friends?"

"Come where?" Luchen raises an eyebrow. Orianna doesn't answer him. "Yes! I wanna gooooo!" She dances in place, happily.
