Maybe they don't know how to yet? they haven't Found the forums? i only just recently found them.

I'm new here and I'm posting. True not much but I'm very picky about the threads I post in.

I think a lot of new folk sign up thinking it's like Gaia, but when they find out we don't have zOMG or some other gaia feature they think we should, or if they actually read the rules first they find out we're "too strict," and they just leave.

Though, some of them will at least try to ask if they can delete their account first :lol:

Its prolly hard to do so when you got the real world to deal with also. Not everyone has time to post here or anywhere for that matter.

I had to get used to mene before I started posting now I post all the time.

They probably just came here for their avatars and to play games and shop! :) :o

Well, they could be posting in the profiles and playing games, and shopping until they get some clothes, because they don't want to run around with no clothes, or maybe they are shy or they are just mules.

o.o new people not posting? I tend to not post myself much... I remember one user though that they played games until they got cloths before they were willing to post anywhere...

to answer your question, idk why. i always post in the forums. i think its pretty fun talking to people, ad about cool topics. idk why. just do. haha

It can be intimidating for new people to post, with all the specificness of Menewsha's posting rules compared to site like, Gaia for instance.

Not implying that there's anything wrong with menewsha's rules, of course.

Some people just don't see the need to post. That or they prefer to lurk to under stand the lay out of the site and etc. Atleast that is how i do things.

Sometimes they are lazy!

Some people are to scared or shy I remember when I was like that It just takes time for them to warm up to a new place..... And then you have the people that all they do is play games all day and really don't worry about friends I suppose lol :)

new people come from other sites where being the old user is superior.....newbie on most sites are looked down at, simply because they are new. I think this breeds fear in them.....They don't yet know that we are much kinder then they think.

I'm here only for the roleplay thread. That's pretty much it. Maybe some people are here only for the avatars and the items they can put on them?

I just started Yesterday and I have only posted in the Fresh Meat section until now.
The reason why I haven't posted sooner is because I want decent clothes. Not just anything to throw on so I'm not naked.

Getting money is much harder here than on Gaia. Don't just assume we don't want to post here or we like the games better.
But, anyway this is my first post out of Fresh Meat so I'll post more.

I don't "try" forum sites by making accounts, but rather look at the site before I make an account. I like to know what I'm getting myself into before I commit myself.

Also, maybe it's just me and/or my current mood, but I feel that coming into a site and broadcasting "I'm new and a noob" seems to be akin to entering a firefight and saying "let's be friends" to the enemy currently killing your compatriots (I suspect the simile may be a result of my mood, but the concept a result of me).

I'm more of a lurker. I like reading topics here and there, but posting feels weird for me. I'm more into the games. They are more relaxing.

As for the people who doesn't post at all, well, most of the reasons have been posted already.

I don't post that much either, on any forums really, although I've been on Menewsha for a few years. I usually post a bit more when there's an event, and sometimes I can suddenly be in the mood to post and talk about things, but not often. And it's not because I don't enjoy talking to people, because I do enjoy it, and here on Mene there are really nice people. I don't really have a reason for not posting, like an excuse for it or anything... I don't call myself a lurker either because I don't lurk that often (altohugh more than posting). I think it's partially because I feel like there are many other productive things I should be doing instead, like working, reading something for school, etc. I just need to put some time apart to be on forums and talk to people to learn things, because when I am posting, during an event for example, whenever I start talking to someone it's always so short because I have to go do something else in my real life. So I need to figure out by myself how to arrange my time table to include Mene in it. And I don't know when I'll do that, but I'm sure I will some day xD So until then, don't be angry at me for not posting that much.
