She sat down at the table making sure to occupy the seat that was closest to him. Her hand fell to the edge of his knee and she smiled, "My shift will be up in about an hour if you'd like to come back for me."
With a soft laugh she stood and gave him a small squeeze on his arm, "Just wait out front for me if it's a yes."
She knew the answer was yes. The answer was always yes. At least this time she was going to be the instigator and not the prey. Walking off she added a small sway to her step. Had to make sure she laid down the right traps, at least.

If it is a yes? Please. "We will see what happens, I got some business to take care of in town." A bold face lie, but he was decent at pulling those off. He tried not to stare as she walked off. For all she knew he was a great warrior or someone important. Sadly he was not, but he intended on it. With his companion gone lost in a drunken drama filled sex session he decided to see the rest of the town. Perhaps there was a local fighter's guild, or blacksmith, or church. Hell anything right now. He walked outside and followed the flow of people, completely blending in with the crowd.

Delilah pushed him off of her for a moment as her anger rekindled. "Where is my drink? I'm remembering why i hate you, again."
He just laughed and handed her the near-empty bottle. As she downed the last of it she climbed up onto his stomach and gave him a small kiss on the forehead before rolling off of him, "Well? Get to work. You're not done, yet."
---------------------
Milly hurried along with her duties before running upstairs to change. She slipped into a form fitting dress to make sure she got the point across. Though, she was fairly certain she did earlier. Once done she hurried back downstairs and out the door. She'd decided she'd give him fifteen minutes to show up before she went off and found someone else. That was fair, right? Most men would just wait anyways, it was a little odd that'd he just run off like that.

He waved goodbye to his new friends he found at the church. He did not find religion all that important himself, but it was always fun to pop in and see what was going on there. Also they tend to have some ladies that are not too religious themselves, which reminded him of the bar. He was going to be a little late, but it would work out. Maybe a slight jog back would help, a little sweat never hurt in his alluring attempts. He was enjoying this too much. He had a customary huge grin as he skipped along back towards the bar

Milly was getting impatient. She began tapping her foot as she leaned against the wall of the bar. The looks she was getting as the later night patrons entered was starting to frustrate her greatly and she was about to just go in and find someone else to play with.

Why did all the ladies want to talk when he was in a rush? I mean there was absolutely no way he would turn down such generous offers, but the offer back at the bar was more appealing. much more appealing. The slight delay did make him even later, but he arrived back at the bar to see her still waiting. She looked upset, but he actually had a decent excuse. "I apologize for the delay. The bishop at the church needed some help with moving some of the pews." It was not a complete lie, and he kept a nice sly smile as he said it

The look she gave him was not necessarily a nice look. She did not like waiting for people especially people that she knew there would only be a single night with. He was rather lucky that he had some sort of charm or she'd have probably just turned around right there.
Her face changed rather quickly into a beaming smile. "Well, at least you are here now, right?" she cheerfully announced. Moving so that she could slip her hand into his she gave him a small nudge on the shoulder, "So? where shall we be heading?"

the bedroom? Did she really want a date? Hmmm maybe a date could be fun, he did not go on them often. "Do you know of any fun place in town, I have not been around much." He hated being sincere with women, but sometimes it just had to be done." He felt her hand slip into his, a cute touch. Her skin was soft and warm, and she looked incredibly nice. He was going to have a great night, with so much going right he almost forgot about his magic friend.

Oh. He was looking for actual suggestions? She was just being cute by asking, but if he wanted a date they could have one. Going out could not be that bad and at least it would give her something besides work and sex. "Well, outside of the bar there isn't too much. I guess we could go to the courtyard. It's rather quiet and secluded" she paused as she had placed emphasis on the last few words, hoping he'd get the hint. She wasn't expecting much to happen in the courtyard, but at least they could get the ball rolling and she did love the place as sunlight was fading. It was just too beautiful.

Quiet and secluded huh? This girl sounded adventurous, and that idea was very exciting to him. "To the courtyard it is then milady." He kept her hand close to his as he was practically dancing through the town with her. He really had no idea where he was going right now, but they would get there eventually.

Once they reached the courtyard Milly released his hand and ran a few paces ahead. She turned and motioned for him to follow and laughed. "You'll miss the best part, come on."
The best part she was referring to was the sun going down. Moving into the courtyard she took a seat on one of the few benches and waited for him to reach her. Her feet swung back and forth. She always felt like a little kid when she came here, but she didn't much care right now. Cade was away playing and she was here with someone else. Even if she'd prefer a different outcome at least she was getting what she wanted for the night and at least she got to see a sight she loved with someone for the first time in a while. "Hurry up, slowpoke." she cooed and patted the spot next to her.

He saw her run and ahead and could not help but chuckling to himself. She could not be much too older than him, or maybe he was just making her act young. Either way he felt pretty good about it. He was also relatively sure he was going to make his move right here in the courtyard. Why the hell not? People were not around and it sounded exciting. He trotted along to join her at the bench, and place his arm around her. He got very comfortable with her, and watched the sunset that she was focusing on.

She laughed, "It's beautiful, yea? I told you it'd be worth it." She grinned and shifted her eyes to focus on him. Her hair fell loosely around her shoulders and she slid her hand onto this thigh, "So, does this inspire you too?"

Delilah woke up the next day feeling rather refreshed. She sat up with a wide yawn and a good stretch. She'd made Cadence leave shortly after their little rendezvous, but she already knew that he wouldn't take an insult from it. Aside from feeling great about the night she was quickly upset when she realized that she had finished off the entire bottle of whiskey the previous night. She'd have to go down and see if they were stocked up. Hopefully Milly wasn't on shift as the two rarely got along.
Moving down the stairs at a slow pace she scanned the room. Her eyes met with very few others as it was only mid afternoon and most of the patrons would not be arriving until much later. For now the bar was a diner. Maybe the whiskey would have to be something she'd take care of once she finished up the rest of her errands for the day. They needed to find a few jobs they could do as she was not only running low on funds, but she was bored. The need to kill something was stronger than was probably healthy this morning.
She took a seat at the bar and motioned over one of the working girls. In the sweetest voice she could muster at this hour she asked, "What might be on the menu at this time of day?" Upon hearing the information she ordered some chicken and vegetables. Awaiting its delivery her fingers began their nervous drum on the counter top. She hadn't thought of her counterpart since earlier the night before and now was somewhat ashamed that she didn't think to look for him first. Deciding that he was probably all right she hoped he'd know to show up here soon enough. That is, if he hadn't just up and left after seeing the mess that she was the night before. Who could trust that she was an actual adventurer after her emotional fiasco was shoved down their throat? She sighed.

He awoke to find Milly long gone from the room, how perfect. Hooking up with the barmaid also had the distinct advantage of not having to pay for a room. Also there could be some free food involved. He washed up a little bit before putting back on his clothes. He decided to keep it more casual, losing the tourist look. He waddled down to the bar to find his companion sitting at a table. Also no sign of Milly, man things were going so perfectly for him. He joined her and began to take some of her food before nonchalantly saying "Good morning" with a customary huge smile

She blinked slowly as some of her food disappeared to a males hand. She was having such a lovely breakfast and now her food was just up and walking away in another's hand. She moved only her eyes to look at him and waved weakly, "Morning."
Continuing to eat she pushed the plate closer to him with her free hand so that he could partake as well. Casually she started the conversation, "How'd your night go?"

"O you know, helped out at a church for most of the night. Went back here and drank some." He tried to lie the best he could, and did not exactly succeed. "How about yourself?" He was happy that she slid the food over, he felt like a jerk reaching over for it. He continued to chow down on this delicious food. He was famished after last night.

"That sounds dreadful. I went and got Milly all pissed off at Cade for nothing, then? I would have slept with someone else had you told me you were only interested in taking the girl to church," she scoffed. She fingered at the food a little taking a green bean and nibbling on it slowly. With a quick raise and drop of the shoulders she stood up.
"Finish up, baby. We've got to go find work. Waste the day away. Then get one more night of sleep in a bed," she smiled and gave him a pat on the shoulder.

"What in the world are you talking about?" Was she playing wingman? That was her plan the whole time? He would bring it up later, when the mood struck him. He finished eating what was left on the table and felt quite refreshed.
He rose up with her returned the friendly pat. "I got some decent leads at the church, the bartender was next to useless. You might know of some other places as well"

"If you truly do not know, then you are far too young to know. Also, that would explain quite a large amount of things," she said. The last part was intended to be in her head, but she was too tired to worry about such trivial things. However, it did make her feel better. She'd had the intention of getting him with Milly, but if he was too naive to realize it then good.
She thought for a moment and then replied, "No, the church and the bar are really the only places here where any information can be gathered, truthfully. Occasionally there is something at the grocers, but I really do not feel like gathering eggs right now."

What the hell did that mean? It did not really matter what she thought, the less drama the better. Still he was kinda upset that she assumed that he could not comprehend such a situation. "Well the church is nice, let's head there"

"Sure thing. Lead the way, my darling!" her mood was starting to improve. The future prospect of more whiskey and the fact that Cade disappeared again just seemed to life her spirits right up. Before actually letting him start to lead the way she skipped out the door.

He did not really follow her on the way to the church, but remained close by. He did not even bring his sword today. He felt that it was safe, it was Milly's room and she would not do anything with the stuff. That is if she did not want any trouble. He was just being paranoid. They arrived at the church and he greeted the people from yesterday, as if he was a regular.

She noticed that he was sort of lagging and got a little frustrated. Was he mad at her or something? What did she do wrong? A girl goes and tries to get a guy laid and her payment is to be ignored the next day? She was TRYING to be friendly and show that she could be serious about getting things done, but he was seriously just killing her mood.
She frowned and stopped running ahead. Slowing her pace to match his she sent her arms in a cross beneath her chest and sighed loudly. She figured he should know that she was annoyed.
