"Ah. There's a difference. My mother was a bitch. Or spineless. Never was sure." He keeps fiddling with his hair. Spircade opens his mouth to volunteer information about Cadence's past, but stops, knowing Cadence would be upset. Instead his says, "That's not right."

"Ever since that time my mother and i....we've been moving place to place because he is still after us.The last time my mother and i faced him and tried to defend ourselves we both nearly died...and i mean literally almost died."Kitami said as her expression looked like she was going to cry.

Spircade jumps up and hugs her. "Cady and I will protect you! Right, Cady?" Cadence shrugs. "Might as well. It'd be different than fighting my dumbass father."

"You don't have to.Im not going to make you do something you don't want to do.And i don't want anyone to get involved."Kitami said as her expression looked the most serious it has been all day.

Cadence shrugs. "I don't care. I've been fighting people all my life. What's one more to the list?" He looks amused. "And I'm technically royalty!"Cadence snorts. "To think you're a dictator when angry."

(Sorry it took so long, the guy I was watching was having issues.)

"You sure you want to deal with my father?He's the most brutal person i have ever known and seen."Kitami said a bit embarrassed.

"Not as bad as mine. Trust me. I can give examples if you want." Spircade giggles at a thought. "I could always use my powers to seduce him."

"I don't think i need any samples im already sick to my stomache from talking and remembering my past."Kitami said as it was true that she pretty much was sick to her stomache about talking about her past."I doubt that he would fall for seduction."

"You never knoow!" Spircade sings, cheerily. "He can turn into said person's perfect...mate, for lack of a better term. So, he may fall for it." Cadence shrugs. "Or I can just kick his ass. Not like I've never done that to a man. Or an adult." He says the word adult like it's poisonous. He seems to have major authority issues.

"Oh..really?That could come in handy then."Kitami said with a smile and a laugh.

Spircade eyes Cadence. "You really do hate adults, don't you? Was your home life that bad?" Cadence grunts. "Damn straight I do. And...duh." He doesn't say anything other than that about his home life though.

Kitami just listens to the two talk as she lays down as her head began to hurt."i don't blame you for hating adults."

Spircade frowns. "Hate is baaad." "So is abuse, but that doesn't stop it from happening," Cadence mutters dully.

"A lot of things are wrong in this world but the bad things in this world never seem to stop."Kitami whispers looking up at the ceiling.

"Indeed. Hence why I ignore the world. 'Cept for the few people I tolerate." "Like me!" Spircade crows.

"Well...i think im going to bed now."Kitami said with a smile as she closed her eyes having her legs curled up a bit as she layed on her side with her hands close to her chest.

Spircade waves goodnight then skips out of the room.Cadence sprawls out on his bed, hoping he'll sleep.

After a few minutes Kitami had fallen into a deep sleep as Cadence could probably hear her breathing.

Cadence closes his eyes and prays for sleep. After about an hour, he finally falls asleep. Nightmares soon slip into the picture, however.

While Kitami was sleeping,Kitami couldn't get out the images of her father being brutal to her.She was dreaming of the past when it all began.

Cadence twists in his sleep, eventually ending up falling to the floor with a thud. He shifts on the floor, not waking up.

When Cadence had fallen onto the floor making a loud thud on the floor Kitami had woken up.When she saw Cadence on the floor she walked over to him picking him up or at least trying to pick him up and putting him back on his bed.is he okay?he didn't wake up when he fell...

Cadence jolts away when she touches him. He forces himself not to go with his instinct of lashing out. He instead shakes his head. "I need to like glue myself to the bed."

"Its alright.I always fall out of my bed."Kitami said with a laugh.She sat on the edge of his bed once she got him into bed."Though whenever i fall out of bed i end up breaking an arm or something like that."Kitami said with a laugh."Can't tell you how many times my mom found me on the floor with a broken arm."

"Nice. At least you're not like my one friend. He sleeps like a rock, through anything. Including sex." He looks amused at that.
