"Here, Steph!" Midnight called to the petite science nerd she'd been friends with since Elementary and reached out to stop her. She turned around with the girl she was with - the girl from the Library and the bus.
"Oh, Midnight! Hey. Do you have it?" Steph said excitedly. Pulling out a small box from her bag Midnight nodded her head and smiled, "Dad's friends at Bratford mailed it over yesterday! Brandnew and vveerryy shiny." She handed the box to Steph, who was grinning psychotically....

Piper turned round with steph. Steph knew the nice girl on the bus? To Piper in class Steph seemed pretty shy... o well.
"Hi" Piper said as the girl called Midnight gave Steph a small box.
"Thanks Midnight!" Steph turned round and walked outside.
"Hey Steph what's in the box?" Piper asked

"My new Scalpel set! Mine were blunt, like majorly and now, these bad boys could kill in a single slice! Hehe!" Steph grinned opening the box and smiling psychotically.
Midnight laughed, "Sometimes you're so dorky it scares me, Steph." She turned to the new kid, "Hey, you're the kid from the bus, ain't cha?"

Piper looked at Steph, "why dja need scalpels?" from experience Piper could safely say that scalpels handled by a teenager are used to cut themselves...
Piper smiled to Midnight, "err ye i am, and ye thanks for sticking up for me like?"

"No, problem. Tya nd the guys are douches. I know how to handle them. Been friends since Kindergarten, when I bet them all at a game of soccer. Haha, I won six cookies out of that one." Midnight grinned. "Just don't listen to them or give them a snappy comeback."
"Erm, the scalpels are for my Biology Midterm project. Disection, remember? You were just in the class?" Steph snorted stowing the box away in her bag.

"O ok. i'm not good at giving snappy comebacks though." Piper sighed, "o ye, sorry i forgot." Piper didn't have any scalpels... o well..
"Come on let's go sit down im craving, i need food!" Steph laughed and walked outside to one of the benches, Piper sat across Steph.

"I'm sitting with you chicas. I can't stand another belch contest against those guys. I nearly died form the fumes. Phew, Evan can belch like a bunch of cerditos...sorry, pigs. I can't make the transition of home to here. Dad's fluent, mum's a latina then there's everyone here bar Miguel in Music. Which reminds me, what classes do you take, Newbie.?" Midnight smiled as she sat down beside Steph.

Piper and Steph were slightly disgusted about the whole belching thing but they decided to shrug it off.
"Maths, French, Art, Drama, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and a spare." Piper smiled at Midnight, "You?"

" English, Maths, Chemistry, Spanish, Physical Education, Music and Drama. I saw you in the spare this morning, right?" Midnight asked. "You left after Ty looked at you."

Piper blushed, "Er i was going to live anyway, just a coincidence he looked at me, i gues.."

"'Kay, I believe you, muchacha. Just between you and me, he's a tad retarded when it comes to girls." Midnight grinned and winked.

Piper couldnt help but laugh, she blushed afterwards and concentrated on picking the tomatoes out of her sandwich.
"What's everyone got next like?" Steph asked, breaking the silence.

"Music, need to be assessed for Vocals. Ms J said she'd flip if I got less than an A+ so...I'm bricking it, dude. What about you?" Midnight smiled and began downing a Snack Bar. It being break and all she didn't plan on eating her whole lunch.

"Physics, we are studying the effect of gravity... we're going to the vacuum hall to see what its like being in a vacuum!!!" Piper said exitedly.

"You and Steph will be a perfect set. She has a total orgasm if you say Gravity or Friction." Midnight grinned at the major pout Steph hd put on.

Piper laughed, "O really Steph?" She was feeling much more comfortable with these girls already, maybe things were going to turn out alright after all?
"Shuddup MIDNIGHT!!! Im gonna get sha!" Steph threw her half eaten sandwich... luckily she miseed.

"That means I'm right, Pippy, it is Pippy right?" Midnight took a random guess at the name.

"err.. no its Piper..." Piper hoped Midnight wouldnt start making fun of her name.

"Piper, odd name. Where you from, chica?" Midnight asked, flicking Steph's sandwich off the table.

"Err just down south really... nothing special." She smiled.

"Piper's a bit different but...so is Midnight!" Midnight grinned and then clocked Ty in the corner of the room with his buddies. Pretending to be listening to Jake beatboxing and Evan rap-courting a girl, he continuously glanced over in their general direction. Particularly in Piper's direction. Midnight tapped the table in front of Piper adn nodded towards TY.

Piper looked in the direction Midnight nodded to. Ty was there in the corner, he looked away suddenly when she locked eyes with him.
could it be that he noticed me? she asked herself, she pretended to be not-knowing.
"Ye so? What about him?" She replied to Midnight, Steph glaring at her intensly as if she was blind.

"I'm pretty sure he was checking you out, Pip." Midnight grinned and squeeled girlishly.
Steph joined in, "You might be in luck, Piper."

"Huh? i dont know..." Piper blushed and looked sideways at Ty, she caught him looking at her again.
"what should i do?"

"I don't know. I wouldn't be the best person to ask." Steph said looking backwards at Ty. Midnight cut in, "Wait a while and if he's still looking by the end of today and he hasn't made a move, do it yourself!"
