"Alright."Kitami said with a cheerful smile on her face while she held onto Riker's hand tightly but not too tight that it would hurt.

Riker smiled at Kitami and opened his mouth to say something when they hit the next city. It was merely a concrete road, but it meant that they were one step closer to revealing the truth and saving innocent lives. "Now." He grinned maliciously. "We find ourselves some wheels..." He turned to her and started walking at a comfortable pace for the both of them. "Keep your eyes peeled for anything you might like." He smiled.

Kitami nodded."alright..will do."Kitami said with a grin as she held onto Riker's hand as they walked into the city.

Riker smiled at her as they started passing homey looking buildings and was looking out for any cars that seemed interesting. He waited though, to see if Kitami could pick any out.

"Hm...im not really sure which car i like all of them are so great."Kitami said looking around at all the cars that they were looking at.

Riker chuckled at her. "Your making it sound like we're car shopping." He grinned. "We are 'borrowing' a car right now. Not stealing. 'borrowing'." Then he slowly, and casualy pulled into a drive way with a brownish tan looking truck. He looked around, seeing nobody in sight and looked over at Kitami. "This good?" He asked.

Kitami giggled."Right i happen to forget a lot."Kitami said as she blushed a bit.She had felt a bit embarrassed.Once she looked at the tan truck she smiled and nodded"Looks good."She said with a smile.

Riker nodded at her, as he got her approval and ducked under the car, searching for the place he could get in to hotwire it.

(( lol, I know nothing about hot wiring a car, so I'm making this up as I go. Just warning you. ))

Kitami watched Riker as he was hotwiring the car so they would be able to drive the truck to their destination.

Riker pulled out the cover that led to the main car system and looked at the wires, memorizing them in his head. Blue, blue, green, red, blue, blue, red, yellow, red, red. He sighed heavily and pulled out the first three, then heard the succesful click meaning the doors had been unlocked. He grinned and rolled out from underneath. He went to the passenger's seat and opened the door for Kitami. "Madam." He smiled, bowing like a butler.

Kitami smiled."thank you."She said stepping into the car sitting down on the seat belting herself in first.Strangely Kitami felt very excited

Riker smiled as she hopped in and closed the door when she seemed ready. He pulled himself up into the driver's seat and lit the ignition by crossing the blue and red wires. He put the truck into drive, then began slowly pulling out. "They won't notice a hunk of junk like this missing. We made the right choice..."

Kitami laughed and nodded."Yeah.So now where are we off to?the councel right?or not?"Kitami asked tilting her head,looking at Riker a bit lovingly.

Riker smiled at Kitami, liking the way she was looking at him. "Counsel." He nodded, then put the car into a faster gear shift.

Kitami nodded."What exactly are we going to do at the councel?"Kitami asked tilting her head a bit."I kind of don't really know much so im a bit behind"

Riker shrugged at her questiong. "Oh. Simple stuff...Our goal is clear to you though, right?" He asked.

"We're going to convince them that most vampires they kill are good?"Kitami asked tilting her head a bit.

"Correct." He smiled. "And by going to the counsel and introducing them to you, we are making it clear. Almost proof of insurance if you may..." He pulled into a different exit and eventually onto another highway, then yawned, but kept his eyes focused on the road.

"Ah i see,now i get it."She said with a smile.When she notice Riker looked a bit tired she looked at him."Do you want me to drive?you like tired."

When Kitami offered to drive, he smiled at her and shook his head. "No, its okay, we should be about halfway there by tomorrow if we don't stop now. If we do reach where I want us to, we can stop and rent a hotel room to sleep." He shrugged and passed a car that was going super slow. He opened his window and gave the elderly man a frustrated look. "Its called a highway, buddy!" Then he scoffed and rolled is window up, looking back to Kitami. "You can go to sleep if you want."

Kitami nodded as she was completely tired.she layed back against her seat dossing off and on.Once she finally fell asleep Riker's driving had relaxed and soothed her once she was sleeping peacefully.

Riker eased up on the gas pedal as he found Kitami was asleep and looked at the time. It was near midnight until they got to their half-way point.

While Riker drove Kitami tossed and turned trying to get as comfortable as possible.Once she found a comfortable spot,she then slept more peacefully than before.

Riker pulled into a local Holiday inn and yawned. He stepped out of the car and walked over to Kitami's side. He opened the door and picked her up, bridal-style, then began walking into the building. He rented a room, retrieved the key and took her into the room, then gently set her onto the bed.

Kitami slept more and more peacefully once she was on the bed.She felt it was softer than the car's seat though she didn't wake up just yet.
