Sakino glared at Michio and Aiko. Sakino proceeded to take her seat at the back of the meeting hall and gestured at Katsuki to sit by the Kage.

Aiko glared right back at Sakino, this was going to be a long and boring meeting. She yawned and looked at Michio who was busily scribbling something in his notebook.
Toshiro was late as usual, they had dropped him off at the shop for some ninja sweets... he must be talking/flirting with the new cashier lady...

Katsuki leaned over and looked at what the guy next to her was scribbling in his notebook. She raised an eyebrow at the letters "A" and "M" in the centre of a love heart. He noticed her looking and snapped the notebook shut, red in the face. She tried not to laugh.
"Let's get this over with..." mumbled the Hokage. "The third stage of the exam will have to stay a tournament, the Feudal Lords will throw a fit if we don't give them some sort of performance. So, what about the first and second tasks?"

Aiko really couldn't be bothered and nudged Michio in the ribs, which ended up in them playing paper rock and scissors under the table.

"I suggest soemthing life threatening." Sakei grinned and and looked at Sakino who had resulted to ignore all dirty looks from around the room and closed her eyes and just listened.

"Well, isn't a written examination usually used to test the genins' information gathering skills?" asked Katsuki. "But in light of the last exam, in which several people passed with a blank paper because they knew that the only question which needed answering was the tenth, how about we come up with an idea to weed out those too lazy to even try?"

Aiko sighed, great miss.sand already feels superior and all clever, ugh. Aiko sighed.
"Yes i think that's a good idea, to be honest. Second exam can be something life threatening... like the Death Forest hunt.." Aiko spoke in her wee mike.

"The first examination, the written one, the test could actually be a proper test and if they fail the tenth, it being a written one, they're screwed. The second Task, The Forest Hunt is a decent Idea, but I vote that we use the secondary tower. The one to the West, at the top of the mountain, they'll have to climb the vertical drop? Also they have to get to the right tower...they go to the wrong one they fail? Finding it by following clues hidden in the Forest?" Sakino contributed tot the two ideas. Most were surprised that she bothered to show up, they were astounded she contributed.

"But the written paper in the first exam is designed to weed out those who are not worthy to answer the tenth question," said some ninja Katsuki didn't recognise.
"Then maybe only allow those who have received a certain mark on their written paper to take the final question?" suggested Katsuki.

Aiko sighed, very boring indeed.
"The written test, isn't that to see how the genin manage to "cheat" using their mind and ability, without looking at someone's paper? Like one of the examiners has the answer on their sheet and as soon as one student has it they'll scribble it down, this will allow more people to get the answers... and then the tenth question is different and much harder and what not." aiko sighed, she wondered if that made any sense, everyone was surprised she even spoke at the meeting, she was so shy usually. Michio looked at her and smiled encouragingly so she continued, "And the second exam, i agree with Sakino, the two towers is a good idea, pretty life threatening."

"Violent little bitch." Michio muttered and smiled at his twin. Sakino blatantly ignored the comment.
"Well, the written test...put the candidates at certain time slots to take the test. And a candidate in the four study rooms along the hall?" Sakino inserted.

"You mean have them take the test at different times?" asked another random chuunin. "Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of information gathering?"

"Well, we make them take the test. If they write nothing and wait till the tenth question they fail? Keep all other details the sae but if they punk up and decide to be lazy, they fail." Sakino muttered.

Aiko, this really wasn't making sense, "No, that won't work. They need to be in the same room at the same time, they can be lazy if they want but the lazy ones will definitely drop out in the second exam. I think we need to make the first exam seem really simple and easy when really it isn't and only the most clever will manage to gather information."

"So, stick with the original method of examination then. Written, trick question at the end, boo-yah - on to the second exam." Sakino muttered back to Aiko, who was getting on her nerves, not that it wasn't hard to do. "Second Task, my plan. Third task, the event and showcase. Hokage, what is your opinion in the arrangements?"

"Yeah, sure," said the Hokage. Katsuki was surprised at how laid back he was. Her father took his job as Kazekage very seriously, at least. "So we'll begin the exam in a few days, looking forward to your help."

Aiko wanted to barth, stupid Sakino, second exam - my plan Aiko muttered under her breath in Sakino's annoying voice, this made Michio laugh and spill most of his water...

The Hokage brought the meeting to a close and Sakino closed the space between herself and Aiko in a few strides. She lowered her voice and added a light hiss to her tone, "Bitch, I lipread. Just because you're incapable of agreeing with me doesn't mean you have to bitch about me. Don't cross me, Aiko. I'm not in the mood for it today."
She turned to Katsuki, "Katsuki, if you wish I'll escort you back to your quarters or around town once again."

"I'm hungry, and I've heard tales of an amazing ramen bar here," said Katsuki. "I don't suppose one of you could show me where it is?" She looked at Sakino, Sakei, Tai, Aiko, Michio and Toshiro.

"To the Ramen Shack then. Or would you rather Aiko and the twins escort you to the shack?" Sakino offered.

Aiko snorted at Sakino's pityful remark. Toshiro had appeared just on time, Aiko nodded over to him, "Why don't you escort Katsuki to the Ramen Shed, Toshiro? You know exactly where it is." Aiko suggested,
"Alright!! come on madam Katsuki follow me." He left the hall with the biggest grin on his face ever,
"Why couldnt we go Aiko? I want ramen too!!" Michio muttered.

Katsuki had to run to catch up with Toshiro. He was very enthusiastic. "So what's the ramen bar called?" she asked when she cought up.
"Ichiraku. Best ramen in the world."

Toshiro grinned at her, and slowed down a bit. The ramen shed was not going to run away, he said in his mind. Ramen ramen ramen... yum he could smell it already,
"Smell the air, it smells of Ramen!!" Toshiro ran up ahead and saved a seat for Katsuki, he ordered 5 bowls of Ramen, he noticed Katsuki's confused look, "1 bowl for you and 4 for me, silly." he winked at her and started slurping all the ramen.

Walking reluctantly up her garden path Sakino let out an illongated sigh as the sound of a vase hitting the wall erupted from the House. Her mother cried out, "SAKURA AND THE HOKAGE GAVE THAT AS A GIFT YOU ASS!"
"WELL, SINCE YOU'RE SO GOOD WITH CLAY AND CRAFTS FIX IT! YOU'RE USELESS AT EVERYTHING ELSE!" Sasuke yelled back and the fighting commenced.
"I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU!"
"WHAT??"
"GOD RIPPED THE WORLD A NEW ASSHOLE AND YOU CAME OUT OF IT, YOU BIG SHITE!"
Sakino hesitantly hovered her hand over the door nob. She didn't dare walk right in the middle of the fight, but she needed in the house. To avoid them she applied her chakra to the soles of her feet and trekked the walls of the house and clambered in through her bedroom window. Slumping down on the bed she pulled out her favourite photo, the only happy memory of the family. The wedding day, the last happy memory. Hearing the argueing and screaming of threating divorce she cried and curled up on her bed.

Katsuki grimaced at the speed which Toshiro was devouring his ramen and started to eat her own. It was very good, better than any other ramen she'd tasted.
