I used to have a puppy that was half Chow half Pitt bull ( i wasnt happy about the mix) that would chew on everything from the sheet rock to underwear 0.0. He'd knock over the clothes bin or somehow get into the bathroom and chew the crotch out of mine and my sister's underwear and our pants. He'd even knock over the trash can and eat...anything...out of it. it was really gross!
We ended up getting rid of the puppy though just because we were running low on clothes we could wear X_X
I can thank that puppy for also chewing my laptop's cord to hell and back. T_T

Fortunately, I don't. My cat likes to nibble tinfoil sometimes, which is weird, but we don't usually have tinfoil out for her to get. A cat that we used to have would nibble on stuff a lot. Paper, cardboard edges, things like that. She liked paper!
Dogs chew a lot, I'm glad I don't have one. My friend's dog would DESTROY her shoes if they were left out or if he got into her closet.

I have a few. I have birds, dogs, and cats that chew just about anything. My quaker parrot chewed the molding off my old room when I lived with my mom. My conure chewed my old comforter up. They pretty much chew on anything that feels good to them. I go through so many toys with them it's not even funny.
My darling little puppy chewed up all the brand new molding I just installed a few months before I got her. The puppy also chewed up my brand new kitchen floor and tore the paint off my bed room wall. She likes the taste of Bitter Yuck and similar products so I never could use anything like that. Luckily her chewing has calmed down.
My kitties have chewed up clothing and my shower curtain before. My one cat has this weird thing with chewing plastic bags so I have to make sure he can't get a hold of any. They are all around 8 years old and still act like kittens.
I have a rabbit that also will chew whatever he finds. I think the worst he did was eat the plans to my pigeon coop that I was building. Other than that he just eats weeds in my yard.
I also want to add that I think it's very selfish to get rid of a dog for behavioral problems when a training class fixes them. If you're not willing to work with the dog don't get one too begin with. I took my dog through classes and her behavior problems are nearly all gone. She's still a puppy so it's a work in progress but personally I think the $109 I spent for the class more than paid off.

Oh my. Our rottweiler has chewed up so much of our stuff!!
Chewed through our cable wire, several cell phone chargers, the plug in to the vacuum cleaner.
He eats books, destroyed a hockey jersey and ate half the power cord to the refrigerator and I know I'm forgetting some things!
Hell he ate a hole in the WALL which looking back through the thread is not all that uncommon but we were shocked.
The house is not made out of bloody gingerbread.
We left him alone with his tennis ball once and came home to find only a few green fuzzies left.

I've.. never had any sort of chewing problem with my pets. I've had three dogs and all of them just seemed to understand right away to not chew on things. That might be because we adopt the older dogs from the shelter, though.. no puppies here!
My cat, however, is a whole different story. He licks EVERYTHING. He especially loves things made out of microfiber.. and human skin o_o

My roomie brought a dog home without asking me and it's not allowed in our apartment. The thing has been chewing on the walls and I've been taking pictures to make sure I won't be charged. T_T It also likes to chew on the carpet...
I have a rabbit at my mom's house. We used to let it run all around the house but then it kept chewing on the carpet and electrical wires and stuff so I can't let it out so much anymore. >.<
And finally, I had a hamster that liked to chew on the bars of its cage. It drove me nuts at night. >.>
@ Wicked: I saw a dog that had chewed through an entire wooden door once... <.<

@ Mystic : Ohmygosh! Poor you! I agree your pets had to be trained. It'd be more expensive to replace everything they chewed!

My cats Elizabeth and Bubbles are semi chewy. They're not super bad...they just chew and lick weird things. Bubbles loves nomming on plastic bags and plastic things. Anything plasticy and baggy and tissue papers and things.
Elizabeth likes to chew on my barbie doll - but not all of them, just my old one with nail polish in the hair - she grooms out the nail polish and chews on the arms and legs, and she takes out the other green dress - but no other dresses, just that one dress, and that one barbie. She's very particular. She also steals the shoes off one of my porcelaine dolls, chews on plastic bags, and licks the bedsheets. She licks my comforters and my clothing. She once ate an entire rubber lizard and it came out in the litterbox in three large pieces. And she eats tinsel. ><;;

Yes! I know exactly how you feel, my dad's dog chews everything. We thought he would grow out of it once he exited the puppy age, but no. He still likes to chew things. Be that the floor, walls, my favourite trainers, my make up, the rug, my pillow, my grand theft auto game, my phone charger or my dad's slippers. He seriously will eat anything if you leave it infront of him for long enough.
He once ate a tea-towel :o
