Jerome laughed and ran after her."Even though I have fangs I'm not a cat!I can swim."He joked and a demon laughed at them.He grinned at the demon and then raced after Lilith.He was enjoying the fresh air as the scent of demon blood him.He stopped dead in his tracks."Wait Lilith!"He said knowing the scent.He knew this demon.He followed the trail of blood leading to a clearing.He looked at the dead demon girl in the center of the clearing and dropped to his knees.Everything in the clearing was covered in blood..her blood."Lilith..."He tried to call but his voice was way to weak.He wanted this night to be perfect not to end like this...

Lilith stoped and looked back at jerome.He was on his knees.She ran beside him and knelt down beside him.'Whats wrong?'Lilith asked as she took a deep breath in and the scent of demon blood filled her nostrils.She shaked her head and sighed.'Whos blood is that?'She asked in a stern voice.

Jerome took a shaky breath and looked up at Lilith his eyes pained.He pointed to the small african america girl in the center of the clearing."It's Danishia...."He said quietly trying to get the last time he saw her into his head so he wouldn't have to remember her like this."Goddess..."He whispered holding his head into his hands.The last time he had she had been so young...she still was/is? His thought ran frantically through his head as he looked back at her dead body.

Lilith pulled Jerome into her arms and directed his eyes into her own and whispered.'Shes in a better place now at the most,relax...'Lilith said in a calm soothing voice.Lilith stared at the body for a moment,whoever did this was careless and once she finds them...Lilith groweled as her eyes darkened.She would kill them for the sake of this girl,her small fragil body lay there,she got up and helped jerome up,she held him in her arms trying to keep his attention off of the girls body.

Jerome nodded not looking back.He focused on Liliths face as a group of humans passed by him.A girl looked up at him and smiled wonderingly.I wonder what's wrong....The human thought her face sypathetic.He almost lashed out this girl had no clue what he had just seen.Being in demon wars wasn't as bad as this....someone had brutally murdered her for no damned reason!He knew her and that she hadn't been in anything gang related or in with any one bad.His face was changing slowly from sadness to pure rage.

Lilith sighed.She let go of Jerome and begun walking towards the girl.She looked up and noticed the moon was full.Her finger tips begun to glow white as she knelt beside the girl,Lilith was going to atleast try and get this girls heart beating,but not by using her strength,by using the suns strength.Lilith closed her eyes and begun to focuse as hard as she could pushing her white magic into the girls body.

Jerome sighed slightly knowing that Lilith was going to try and get Danisha's heart beating again."It's not going to work...if it does it won't be her spirit.She's already in hell..."He said queitly to knowing this as Danisha tapped into his thoughts...It's okay...i'll be fine I'm with your family right now Jerome...it's better down here...your with your own kind and no one judges you...Love you bro.Talk to you later....She thought to him and he looked up at Lilith and smiled slightly even though the anger was still rushing through him."She doesn't want to come back Lilith..."he said sighing gently.

Lilith removed her hands from the girls body staring down at her.The wound had healed and her heart would have been beating if she would have kept trying.Lilith sighed and grabed her head,it was throbing.She had never relied on the moon for her strength until tonight.Lilith nodded and slowly got to her feet.'I know your angery for who killed her,but what comes around goes around and one day he'll die but more slowly...'She said as red steaks striked her eyes.

Jerome feeling more at ease noticed the small things again.He walked over to Lilith and gently rested his hand on her cheek."What's wrong?"He asked not knowing that she had never relied on the moon as a power source.He looked into her eyes and noticed the red streaks running around her beautiful colored eyes.

Lilith eyes softened as her attention was drawn back to Jeromes.'Im fine,lets get out of here. I dont know how much longer I can be here without geting violent,the blood brings back alot of memmories.'Lilith said as she laced her fingers with Jeromes and started walking away from the girls body.

Jerome nodded and then picked her up laughing slightly at her shock."Let's go to the lake..."He said knowing the scent would all be lake water and salt.He ran at a fast pace just a blur to the human eye.He loved he the cool night air against his skin and the way she fit perfectly into his arms.He stopped as the fresh scent notified him of it coming giant pool.He took his shoes off while holding her and felt the soft sand against his feet.He sat by the edge with her in his arms still.he looked out onto the lake and saw the moon's reflection against the fresh salt water lake."It's beautiful...but nothing compared to you."He said voicing his thoughts from earlier.

Lilithed was caught by surprise when Jerome picked her up.She blushed and held onto him as he ran,she stared up at him with a half smile.His hair was so messy,she thought about how cute he looked.Once they stoped by the fresh water she was still in his arms.She looked into his eyes and rested her hand on his neck.'Really now?'Lilith said as she leaned close to his ear and leaned against him.

Jerome smiled at her and nodded."Yes really."He said smiling again.He ran a hand through his hair not noticing how messy it was until now.He tried to fix it but just made it worse.He laughed at his attempt and then shifted slightly."Want to swim?"He asked her having a sudden urge to jump in to the lake and swim.

Lilith shruged at the thought of her being 'beautiful.'In her opinion she wasn't.She then snaped out of her thoughts and looked to Jerome.'Sure,but your geting in first.'Lilith laughed as she got off his lap and watched him.Her eyes flowing all different colors of silver and grey.

Jerome grinned and nodded."Well that's fine by me..."He said knowing that the lake was extremely deep and deadly to humans because it had a tie to the spirit world.He slid off his shirt and his pants having shorts on underneath.He jumped in and almost shivered."You coming?"he asked playfully splashing water up onto her feet.

Lilith watched as he took off his shirt.She winked at him and watched him run in.She laughed as she saw him shiver.'Fine!'Lilith yelled as she stripped down to her bra and underwear.'Im going to regreat this in the morning.'She said as she ran in and jumped,the water splashed Jerome in the face as she landed under the water.She came up and looked around.'I cant believe you talked me into this!'She yelled as she shivered a little bit.

Jerome watched as she took everything off except her underwer and then mentally shook him self befoe splashing her back."Hey it isn't that cold."he said shivering again.He laughed and swam over to her."Want me to keep you warm?"He flirted and smiled at her wrapping his arms around her and leaning down to kiss her.

Lilith smiled sinisterly.'It is that cold.'She said as she watched him swim towards her.Her ears twiched and her face turned red as Jerome wraped his arms around her.She kissed him on the lips and leaned against him.'I bet you just tryed to get me in the water for different reasons she said as she looked up at him.

Jerome laughed and kissed her."No I really did want to swim...but it's really cold in here."He said smiling down at her.He held her against him and then shivered again."Do you know why it's so cold in here?"he asked looking down into the murky waters."The lake has a tie to the spirit world...it's an inbetween spot.Where some points are the spirit world and others are just water..."he said looking back at her.

Lilith laughed.She pressed her body against his body for warmth.'I have no idea,want to get out of the water?'Lilith asked as she shivered and wraped her arms around Jeromes waist.

Jerome smiled at her and then said."You go I want to go see something..."He said waiting for her to get out of the lake before he went under to see the parts of the spirit world that were in the lake.They were standing in one of the colder spots and he knew it wasn't of this world.

Lilith sighed and started swimming to short.She got out and laid down in the sand and dryed her hair out.She sat up and watched Jerome.

Jerome dived under the water and blinked a couple of times.He squinted his eyes and saw the murky water mix with black swirls.He looked questioningly at the water where the black mixed with it and swam to it.He went into it and switched worlds.He went into the black swirls and came out on the other side.The water black with white swirls."Hmmm.."He said as a demon swam past his head at a very fast rate."Whoa!"He said and went back to earth.He came out gasping for air and coughed up black water.He wrinkled his nose and swam to the shore and out of the water.

Lilith had her arms wraped around herself,still wet.She looked to Jerome.'You alright?'Lilith asked with concern in her voice as she watched jerome get out of the water.The air was warm tonight,so she wasn't as cold as she suspected she be once she got out of the water.

Jerome smiled at her and nodded."Just took a little trip is all..."He said grinning.He hadn't been there for a long time and wanted to go back but he knew that was for another day and time.He lay back on the sand and shivered."It's cold over in the spirit world..."He said to her looking up at her.
