Rin lead them to the rooms. "So I got two rooms, one for you and Jerome and the other one for us." She hands Lilith the keys and opens the door to her room. Rin was side tracked with everything on her mind. She walked in and sat on the floor not even noticing. All she could think about is that day Jessie was accused and the fight ahead.

Jerome smiled and picked up Lilith feeling her strength waver.He heard her thoughts and sighed softly kissing her cheek gently.He didn't want to think about what would come tomorrow all he knew was that he was going to protect Rin and Lilith...and that everything was going to be okay.

Lilith was taken by surprised when jerome picked her up.'What was that for?'She said while laughing.
Lilith handed jerome the keys,she decied to be too lazy to do anything.

Ike sat down next to rin and looked at her, "everything okay, love?" he asked her softly as he wrapped a arm around her. He knew that she was thinking about what was to come and he knew that she needed to calm down.

Rin looked at Ike. "August 23, so many many many years ago. There was a day where Jessie and Daymeion were not at home. One person came to their home and broke in while their parents were alone. Their father was brutalized and shot four times, their mother stabbed 35 times in front of their father. Ten hours had passed and it was close to midnight. Jessie came home to find the home in terrible condition. She slipped and fell in blood, a neighbor came and saw everything and blamed her because of the blood on her clothes. She had to suffer for 10 centuries, rotting in a psychiatric ward for so long when it wasn't her fault. No one would believe her, but I did. I carry the secret til this day of who really killed her parents. I know she will take all that suffering out on all of us and especially me." Tears came to her eyes and the thought of losing everyone also cam to thought. "This is not just about her getting back at me, but about getting back at the world for her torment and her treachery. I have to end this now or else it will be the end for all." Rin had rested her head on Ike's shoulder.


Jessie looked at Devon "No, just do as I say tomorrow and we will destroy this filthy world from that girl and anyone else who defies me. 'You may leave now."

Ike listens to her and once she was done and kissed her head gently. "I understand" he said to her softly. "and I am going to be there to help you with this." he said as he looked at her. Even from her words he bbelived that Jessie was innocent and he felt sorry for her.

Jerome smiled and held the keys in one of his hands."Because your look tired..."He told her and then added."and cause i wanted to hold you in my arms."He said smiling at her as he looked at the number on the keys walking to the room....

Devon nodded his head bowing to Jessie."As you wish..."He said softly before he left knowing not to say another word to her.He walked out of the study and waited for Iri to come out of the room.

Lilith laughed.'Im fine,you can put me down.'She said with a teasing tone to her voice.She stared down at the floor as she was carryed off.'You can hold me when we get to the room.'She said while laughing at his kind gesture to hold her.

Rin kisses him on the cheek before she gets up and closes the door. Then she lays down on the bed and looks out the window. Trying to forget that night and trying to be ready for the next day, but she knew she wasn't going to fall asleep anytime soon.

Iri gave Jessie a slight bowed curtsy before walking out behind Devon. A sadistic smirk was plastered on her face as she played through scenario after scenario in her head. They were only the winning ones of course seeing as the demoness didn't see herself losing anytime soon. Once back in the hallway, the sadistic smirk on her face finally relaxed as she looked at Devon. "Would you like to return to your room or would you rather me take us to the kitchen to get something to eat, seeing as I have to go there anyway?" She asked him as she ran her hands down the front of her skirt, neatening it out a bit.

Ike walked over to her and sat down on the bed with her. "if you cant get to sleep try to think about something that makes you happy." he said when he saw she coudlnt' get to sleep and gently stroked her head a little bit.

Rin heard what he said and then looked at him. "You make me happy, but I still can't sleep when I know whats up ahead of us." then she looked out the window and saw that it rained a little. Tomorrow could be the end or the beginning of a new life for Rin and her friends.

Ike sighed as he layed down and wrapped a arm around her, "you will have to sleep, even thought you know what is up ahead you have to sleep. if you dont your body wont be ready for what it to come." he said to her softly, "but if you dont sleep I wont either."

Rin still looking put the window watching the rain. "Then that ruins my plans to sneak out in the middle of the night, to meet Jessie and battle her alone. Now wouldn't it?" she kind of laughed a little on the inside. All she wanted to think about was the happy moment at the fair.


Jessie watched as they left and stared into the fire. Watching a moving spirit and the memory she had of that horrible night she was accused. The suddenly she wanted to destroy everything in that room, but she held herself together. Think about a time you held a smile on your face longer than you ever did today. Jessie thought to herself.

Ike smirked, "even if you did try to I would of felt you get out of bed. I would of come after you and make sure that nothing happend to you." he said to her softly and kissed her head gently.

Jerome shook his head."No way...besides here's the room."He said smiling at her.He opened the door the room and stepped looking around."Pretty nice..."He said and then shut the door with her still in his arms.He walked over to the bed and sat down with her still in his arms as he gently kissed her.He sighed softly glad he was with her...and that they had made up...he didn't know what he would have done if they weren't together today.....

Devon sighed softly running a hand through his hair.He forgot how much he actually loved Jessie...He liked her more than just a friend...well it won't ever happen...He thought to himself sighing again."Let's go get something to eat..."He said smiling genuinely at Iri.He hoped to his goddess that Jessie didn't here his thoughts...

Lilith kissed his lips softly enjoying the comfert of his arms.'Im going to take a shower,we have along day tomorrow.'Lilith said and kissed him one finial time and huged him.She slipped into the bathroom and started taking a shower.

Rin turned over to look at Ike. "True, but I would have tried to make you stay behind because this has nothing to do with you. It has nothing to do with any of you. You guys chose to protect me never asked to be protected." Rin always thought she could handle a situation by herself, but lately she's noticed that it's not true.

Jessie sat in the chair and got angry, all she wanted to do is destroy the room and that's what she did. She got up at went towards the pictures on the mantle. Knocking everything off of it, not caring for what she did or how she did it, but she needed to get this off her chest. "I hate everyone. You lock me up for one thousand years, me all alone in a cell. Accused of something I didn't do and know I lost my parents and my brother!" Jessie was screaming at the top of her lungs. She destroyed every picture, painting, sculpture, and chairs and tables. Jessie had lost it and tomorrow she will lose it even more. Then she decided to listen to the voice in her head and sat on the ground. Her hands bloody and her dress ruined.

Jerome smiled and kissed her back before she went to take a shower."Yes we do...i'll be right here..."He said smiling at her before she went into the bathroom.He took off his shirt looking at the light scars along his chest sighing softly those memories needed to stay hidden....he didn't want to be sad around he never would.She made him happier than he ever had been.He ran his hand along the whip lashes and winced remembering how bad they had hurt...

Devon gulped and flinched as he heard Jessie's go on a rampage.He wanted to go in and stop her but knew he shouldn't.He hadn't tried and wouldn't knowing she didn't think of him as anything more than a servant and would most likely hurt him....He wished she knew that he loved her...only she knew she didn't have to act on it.He shook the thoughts off mentally.It's never gonna happen..He thought to himself.

Lilith steped out of the shower,turned off the water and dried her hair.She threw on her small tunic that she had been wearing before which was now clean.Lilith walked out and looked over to Jerome.'What are those?...'She asked concern filling her voice.Never had she seen such crude scars.

Jerome looked at her and smiled slightly nervously."There whip lash scars...."he said sighing."I had taken the blame for something I didn't do...the punishment was 50 lashes...."He said sighing gently running his hands over the scars his face contorting in pain at the memory.

Lilith frowned and sat beside him.She sighed softly.'What happend?...'Lilith asked in a half shaken voice staring down into his eyes.She couldn't help but felt nervouse,what had he taken the blame for and what happend?She didn't think that but it would come to mind soon enough and she was more worried about him then herself.

Jerome sighed softly and laced his fingers with hers messing with her hand turning it gently and then gently running his thumb over her knuckles."I was in England...and they run things like old times....my only friend there had gotten caught selling drugs and stealing..."He said sighing softly his fingers pacing over her fingers nervously."And she was a girl...so I told them I would take the punishment knowing she wouldn't live through the lashes of the cat-o-nine whip..."He said softly looking at her for the first time since he had started to tell her the story pain written all over his face.

Ike sighed as he looked at her and pulled her closer. "if it deals with you it deals with me." he said to her softly, "and you could try all your might to make me stay but I would be at your side. Even if you tryed to tie me to a tree I would find a way to be by your side at that battle." he said to her.

Liliths eyes where soft.She laid beside him and wraped her arms around his neck pulling him close.'Ill never let you go.'She whispered keeping him held against her.She could only picture the pain and how it felt,but she made it sure that no one would ever see the ex across her chest.Not anyway.She held him tightly and barryed her face into his neck not leting him go.
