Uther is walking through the hall in a bored manner, a blank look on his face as Istha drifts after him loyally. So far he hasn't encountered anything interesting. Sure, a few booby traps have arisen, but thus far there hasn't been anything that have really made it hard on him to continue walking. He has already swerved off of the main path several times, having found out from his usual searches that the main path never really leads anywhere; only to trouble.

"Do you need anything, Master?" Istha murmurs, placing her chin on his shoulder.

"Nothing." Uther murmurs, stroking her flaming hair lightly before stuffing his hand into his pocket again, still walking.

"Do you suppose we went the wrong way, Master?" Istha asks, finally lifting her chin from the mage's shoulder.

"If we did, we'll just go back and try another path, hm?" Uther murmurs, not really fazed by the prospect of that happening; it happened often enough.

Where Netiv stopped he was standing in a pool of warm steaming water. There were fountains of it bubbling up around him. It smelled like rotten eggs, but it was warm, and for that he was grateful.
What was on the other side however was what really caught his eye. There was a small tent set up beside a pedestal with a large stone situated on it.
The lack of food scraps and so forth led Netiv to believe that this place had been uninhabited for sometime now.
"Ursa.." Netiv muttered.
There was a soft rumbling and a bear made of stone stepped out of the rocks around him, though he left no hole.
"Aero can't exist here... but you can... " He asked looking at the bear.
The Bear shook his head and glanced back, "Barrier in hall, not all over room, magic can be in or out but not both... Holding cell?" The Bear suggested.
Netiv nodded a bit and then ran his hands across the pedestal, "For what though..."

Uther raises an eyebrow as he spots light in the distance, though he doesn't speed up his stride in getting there. He'll get there in time; no need to rush if there might not be anything to get. It's only when he gets closer that he spots the figure of the mage that walked off on him not too long ago. "Funny... All the extra tunnels might lead to the same place..." he murmurs softly as he stops a few meters behind the other mage, tilting his head to the side as he does so.

Istha glances at Ursa before glancing at Uther who nods lightly, and she abandons his side to float over to Ursa, looking at him curiously with her big eyes.

Ursa looked up at Ishta for a moment, his eyes vivid green emeralds.

Netiv glanced over at Uther and frowned, "You would have known that if you had stopped for a moment to listen to me" He snapped.
He went back to making rubbings of the pedestal, "How'd Ishta sneak by the barrier...Ursa said its pretty much surrounding this room."

Istha reaches out, placing her hand next to the bear's eyes. While her hand is made of fire, it has no temperature when touched if she does not wish for it. "Your name...?"

Uther tilts her head to the side. "Elementals come in three forms... There's shapeless which is a ball of life... first form... Then the second one... Which is that..." he murmurs, pointing at Ursa "And ultimate form..." he points at Istha. "Some barriers recognize elementals in their ultimate form as humans because they're humanoid..."

Ursa rumbled a little and took a few steps back.
"Its fine..." Netiv told the bear as he chewed his thumb a bit, "I suppose that makes sense....Anyway...don't break any walls... " He grumbled as he glanced up from his rubbings.

Ursa leaned towards Ishta for a moment, "Ursa..." It rumbled lowly, emerald eyes darting up at the fiery woman. He wasn't very keen on other elements, any of them. It did not matter if he knew them or not. For where earth was concerned every element did damage.

"Istha..." She murmurs back, though seeing the other creature's reaction to her he takes her hand away, floating back a bit to give him some space.

"Now why would I break walls if none of them seem to be hindering me..." Uther murmurs, crouching down in front of the water. "Sorda..." he murmurs and a bridge of ice gets created, Uther's eyes following it as it expands.

There was a rumbling deep under ground. Ursa looked over at Netiv and lumbered towards him worriedly.
A huge jet of steam shot through the water filling the cavern with it's stench and clouds of hot water. The jet had come up blasting through the center of Uther's bridge.

Netiv glared at the other mage for a moment, "I'm soaked...the paper is soaked... Ursa is pouting...what did you do?" He asked.

He held up a sheet of now damp paper the charcoal dripping off of it slowly, "This is clearly an important place... There are going to be wards and precautions up all over the place..."

Uther glances at him, completely dry thanks to having uttered "Roma" just in time. "You've looked and smelled better..." is his only comment to the other mage as he glances at Istha who looks a bit off, but otherwise fine. Like Uther has said before; a flame that can't be extinguished. Granted, she takes up plenty of his magical energy.

He watches the bridge which is in two pieces before shrugging lightly. "Go figure out the coordinates..."

Netiv shook his head, "That would have been easier if I wasn't soaked to the bone and all my rubbings ruined..." He grumbled as he started laying out the now damp papers across Ursa's back.
The bear looked up at him for a moment and then shuffled about so that he was laying down.

Netiv patted the bear's head, and started to walk around looking at the drying papers, "Ursa can you warm up a little... Or dry out?"
The Bear nodded his body shifting, water forming in a pool around his belly as the rest of him dried off slowly.

The dark haired mage stood there wringing out his hair a little, "Augh this is just aweful... " He started pulling off socks and shoes as well now, and then slowly started on his pants.

Uther rolls his eyes. "Istha..." he murmurs.

Istha nods before moving to Netiv and wrapping her arms around Netiv, the air around the mage becoming warmer to help dry the other mage up.

Uther glances back against the water. He wonders if he should summon Roma and have her deal with the water, making it easier for him to pass over it and to get to the other side... Once again he is reminded how nice it would be if he were to control an air elemental, that way he could just see if he could fly over it, if only to halfway over the water... "It really smells bad in here..."

Netiv looked at Ishta for a moment and then accepted it, "Yeah what ever is keeping magic in and out of here is locking in that awful smell."

He sighed for a moment and glanced at the water, "I wouldn't try crossing that again magically... Can you swim?" He asked looking at Uther.
He glanced over at the papers that were drying, they hinted at a room beyond the pools of water. Somehow he didn't think swimming was a good idea either though.

Uther blinks slowly. "Swim... I haven't done that since I was..." he thinks for a bit before slowly lowering his hand to his waist. And who knows how long ago that was. "I could back then though, so it should be fine..." he murmurs, shrugging.

Netiv nodded and picked up a piece of paper from Ursa's back. He set the mostly dry paper in front of Uther, "We can't go across the middle... that's to dangerous even with out magic ...so we're going to go in from the edges."
He pointed at Ursa, "I'm going to have him stand at the edge of the water a a distraction of sorts...he's fine...he'll just turn to sand and melt away..."
The bear snorted a bit.

Uther tilts his head to the side before shrugging. "If you think your elemental melting away is fine..." he murmurs, shaking his head a little "Honestly... So considerate to your own elementals..."

Istha glances at Uther with her big eyes, cocking her head to the side. "Master...?"

"I'll summon you later again..."

She nods before becoming transparent and disappearing.

Netiv blinked a bit, "Sand...." Netiv said gesturing at the floor below him, "It washes away in water... I'll dismiss him should that occur." He said looking a little lost.

Ursa rose slowly and shook off the papers, he plodded out into the water and sat down with a splash, he looked back at Netiv waiting for things to progress.

"And... How would you feel if your master would just leave you there to sit, melt, and do nothing else?" Uther asks, crossing his arms over his chest as he raises an eyebrow as he lets his eyes pierce into the other mage's eyes. "Though it isn't my business how you treat your Elementals." he shrugs casually, though he seems far from pleased.

Netiv looked over at Ursa who just yawned and looked back at the two mages.
"Its not like he's being destroyed..." Netiv said looking confused, "It would be like... like..." He rubbed his head, "Well like I dunno.. but he's not being destroyed when it happens..."

The bear laid down in the water staring at it boredly.
"and its not like he's complaining..." Netiv added.

"Yes, yes... Just have him melt away... Who cares... You can just summon him the next time you need him anyway and he'll be fine again... Yep... No problem... Just let the Elemental melt away just because he'll turn out fine in the end..." He sighs, shaking his head lightly "Honestly... I could never do that to mine... I expected a bit more from you with how you always go on about others..."

"Ursa..." Netiv looked over at the bear, "Do you care? I mean do you want to do this?"

Ursa shrugged a bit and just yawned, "Wanna sleep..." He muttered snuggling down, "Earth up top so cold...just...wanna sleep..."

Netiv walked over and patted Ursa's head lightly "I'll let you sleep for weeks after this I promise..."

Ursa nodded a bit.

"... Have you ever even asked before now if your Elemental wanted to do anything?" Uther asks, watching with a raised eyebrow before shaking his head. "Honestly... And then they call me heartless..." he murmurs under his breath, closing his eyes.

Netiv blinked a bit and frowned at the floor. He pulled his pants off suddenly and tossed them to the side, "I don't talk to Ursa much... He doesn't generally have much to say...just likes to sleep and eat...Not that hard to figure out...as opposed to Aero who is constantly going on and on..."

Netiv wasn't naked, his lower body was bandaged down and there was a loin cloth wrapped around his waist. He laid the pants by the old tent.

"I'm not asking you if you talk to them, I'm asking you if you even ask them if they agree with what you want them to do sometimes." Uther huffs, rolling his eyes. "Or did you think that they lacked feelings?" he accuses lightly, shifting his eyes to the other, not making any motion to take off his clothes.

Netiv shrugged, "I mean I'm sure they have feelings... and...I do ask.. or they say something..." He said quietly as he stepped into the water, "I mean... I think I ask.." He said quietly.

"You think you aks?" Uther narrows his eyes, watching the other. "I honestly expected more from you."
