Borderlands is a game based on the planet Pandora. The game begins telling you the tale of the Vault, a hidden place time has forgotten containing untold riches and alien weaponry and technology. The aim of the game is simple :: get to the vault. But getting to the vault isn't easy. There are thousands upon thousands of mini quests and story-lines to keep you preoccupied while you search for the key to the vault -- I mean, c'mon. You didn't seriously expect it to be open, did you ? Pfft. :roll:
As you start the game, you meet the four playable characters. They all have unique abilities and are all refered to as 'Vault Hunters', go figure.
Mordecai as "The Hunter"
The only playable character that interacts with nature, Mordecai is an animal tamer. He can release a Bloodwing which attacks foes for a short amount of time and specializes in sniper rifles. You can read more about him and his crazy bird-ness here.
Lilith as "The Siren"
The only playable female character in the game, Lilith is a phase-walker. She can turn invisible for a short period of time and is the trickster of the Borderlands crew. You can read more about her and her awesome skills here.
Roland as "The Soldier"
The only referance to the military in the game, Roland is a healer. He can deploy a Scorpio Turret for a short period of time which can regenerate ammo and health and is generally the shyest playable character in the game. You can read more about him and his helpful but offensive abilities here.
Brick as Himself
The craziest playable character in the game, Brick is absolutely mad. He can go into berserker-mode and beat the crap outta foes. Need I say any more. You can read more about him and his fists of steel here.

A little bit about me. ^^
Greetings, fellow Pandora inhabitant ! I s'pose you might like to know a teeny bit more about me if we're going to be spending some time together here. Well, okay then !
I'm RainbowMuffinage, but my real name is Skye. I'm thirteen years old and I live in England. Usually, it rains a lot. A few weeks ago, it didn't. There was way too much ash in the sky. >.<
I've been playing Borderlands with my two best friends Josh and Charlie since the beginning of the year when I finally got fed up of listening to them rable on about a game I'd never played and decided to have a go at it myself. And, I must say, it was probably the smartest move I've ever made in my whole entire life. I'm currently a level 31 Siren, but I level up at least three times a week, seeing as I play the game every week day. Why only week days ? Becuase every week day, after school, I pillage Charlie's place for snacks and hijack his Xbox 360 for about three hours.
But, I'm nice really. (:
So, if you're ever seriously bored and fancy a chat about skags and their butt plugs -- feel free to ask about that theory, it has a pretty good background and I put a lotta thought into it ! ! ^^ -- then this is most definately the thread to go for. ;D
