Razz was staring at the ground, frowning. He didn't say a word.

Tzal did as asked, poking around. "It will take me a few minutes..."

Iri sighed impatiently as she watched the two for a moment, her eyes then drifting over to Momo. She hoped this worked, even if he didn't have mind control he might have another power that they could get a hint to. She wasn't sure, she just wanted to figure out what it was as soon as possible.

Tzal paused, the nodded to himself. "It's not strong, but he does have that sort of power. It's weak...slight ability to persuade people...ten times as easily. I can't tell if there are other powers--they seem...locked away, kind of."

Razz's shoulders slumped. So, it was true...

Iri nodded, her expressions softening as she walked up to Razz. She tilted her head to be able to look him in the eye better, one hand resting on his shoulder as she used the other to lift his chin up to look at her. "Do not worry Rasputin," she said softly. "I can help you with this. Having powers from this bloodline is not something to be upset about." She smiled slightly before saying, "You have many more allies than you would have ever thought possible. They just do not know of your existance yet."

"I don't want any...whatever they are...allies..." Razz grumbled. He sounded upset, still. "I don't need any allies." There was a peculiar look in his eyes--a mix of anger, sorrow, and fear.

Iri was trying to reason with him but it didn't seem to be helping. Her brows furrowed slightly as she moved her hand on his chin to his cheek. "This is a lot for you to take in at the moment, I understand that," she said though she didn't really understand it all at the same time. She had never had to deal with someone who was had powers that they didn't know about. "We can ignore the allies for now, until you get used to everything if that's what you prefer."

"I'd rather ignore them forever." Razz's expression darkened and turned to one of absolute anger, and denial. "I don't care." He turned on his heel, and started heading back inside. "I'm going to study."

Tzal watched him, amused. "Heh...I think he's going to be real difficult."

"I have never dealt with humans," Iri said in reply to Tzal's comments. "I can only assume that this is a normal reaction to something like this." She watched Razz for a moment though she wasn't sure as to if she should follow him at this point. She knew he couldn't just ignore everything that was going on; after all, from what Tzal said it sounded like he had greatness in him. He may have been human but there could be a chance that he was more powerful than her original Sire. She would just have to give him time though, at least that was all she could think of doing.

"He's not going to want to leave his current life...and he'll fight you over it," Tzal clarified, solemnly. "He'll fight tooth and nail to keep the life he has now, as a human. If you want to work with him, and keep him somewhat happy, you're going to have to try to keep him in his current life..."

Iri shook her head as she watched Razz walk away. "I do not believe that is possible. Once his allied forces realize that the bloodline has been passed on there really isn't much that I can do to keep them from coming here. His family ties go back to one of the most powerful demon families ever known to the other races. When the last of them supposedly died the allies were both devistated and feared attack from their enemies."

She then sighed knowing that she was really caught between two different worlds. "I would love to see that family come to rise again myself. After all it was with that family that my powers were allowed to be used to their full extent. It won't take the high council long to notice that I am no longer within the confinements of the saloon. And I thought humans were supposed to be used to change. Your race goes through it the quickest out of all others I've seen."

"Razz hates change," Tzal informed her, somberly. "He can't stand it when his life changes. It's the reason his family rarely goes on vacation, and has never moved. He throws fits, and grows so depressed...he's stubborn." He paused, then grinned. "Actually, it might be quite amusing to see full-blown demons and such go up against a moody Razz...I don't think they'll face a greater battle in all their lives."

Iri shook her head before saying, "These are creatures that I would not want to pit Rasputin against. My sire killed thousands, nearly millions in a week. Humans at that. These creatures have no problem in killing humans even if they hold the royal bloodline. Someone new has taken the thrown though Rasputin could take it over if he so wishes." The demoness then pursed her lips slighlty. "Even though these lords felt threatened with the passing of my sire and his sister, they are not harmless. They were just unsure of the waters he left behind with their rivals. If they come here it means things have gotten bad and they need the line back. Knowing my sire, he angered many. Many wanted him dead and there is no doubt that the other demons that followed his every word would become a new target."

Tzal opened his mouth to speak, and then faltered. "...If I were you...I would try to intercept them if you sense them, before they reach him. If he's pushed and shoved in too many directions, and threatened or anything of the like...extreme emotional distress could push him over the edge. I'm sure you're aware of what a breakdown like that can do to someone with strong powers..."

"We are not aware of how strong his powers may be," Iri stated calmly. "He is, afterall, only half spirit demon. And as for threats, they will not come from these beings. They respect the royal family and would never wish harm among them. They are aware of their power and are not foolish as to being the target of it. They have been around for a very long time so therefore they know better than to retaliate against others without reasonable cause and resources. As for intercepting them, that is something that is easier said than done." The demon then wiped her hands across her pants, her eyes trailing down to the ground as she did so. "They can mask themselves unlike myself. While their power is there it spreads over a wide area and can be hard to pinpoint until they are just about on you. They are a crafty bunch."

"...Just the stress of their appearance, if quite a few come, would probably be enough to drive Razz over the edge, without them even doing anything wrong..." Tzal reminded her. "Especially...especially if he's alone when they do this. It would be best to keep him with someone at all times..."

Iri's eyes then fell onto Tzalmon once again. "I am not sure that my presence would be the best thing for him at the moment. I may remind him too much of what is going on let alone the fact that I may not be as much help as I could originally be. After all, this is my Sire's old bloodline. I would do whatever I could to bring it back into power." She then looked back up to where the male had left. "But he is now technically my new Sire and therefore I must respect his decisions and orders."

Tzal closed his eyes, and then checked up on Razz. He opened his eyes again, then nodded. "I don't think he'll mind you being with him...he likes you. But mention of anything about a 'new life' will set him off. Which is...why I worry. If you really want to try and ease him into that sort of life, you're going to have to form a strong bond with him."

Iri pursed her lips before saying, "The bond between the Sire and their general is a strong one. Even from mistress to general. You must trust one another deeply in order for the power to be there. Even between myself and my previous Sire it was strong, sense meeting. It is almost as though the bond between the two families acts as a spell at times though if that is true or not I am not sure." Taking another slow breath she scuffed her feet in the dirt slightly. "I will do my best to be there for him for it is my duty. Anything beyond that is out of my control." Her eyes remained serious as she looked back toward the house before her body vanished. The purple veins in the ring returned once again, swirling around and pulsating.

Razz had headed back into Tzal's room and popped a different video game in--it was a Western-style game, and he was in the middle of defending a traveling stagecoach from bandits on horseback. He noticed that the power returned to the ring, but he said nothing.

Iri mentally sighed as she made herself comfortable. She was there for him, at least at the moment. The veins swirled a bit before setting down after a little while. She busied herself with the game that Razz was playing. She still wasn't too sure as to why humans would get into these but then again it almost seemed like their way of going to see a past that they may never get to see.

Despite Razz's prominent fears, he didn't seem to be afraid of any animals--there were wild animals all over this game. He also seemed to have no problem with guns. The main character on the game carried many weapons to use against his enemies. Razz stayed quiet as he played.

Perhaps it is a way to live in ways that they could not now, Iri then thought to herself as she felt Razz's emotions. He wasn't scared, at least not in the game, not like before anyway. Maybe that is why I have a hard time getting these devices. She was satisfied with that seeing that she could be just about anything that she wished, literally.

Razz kept on playing. "...Here to further discourage my style of life, or what?" he muttered after a moment. He seemed to be taking out anger in this game--he'd just mowed down a large group of wolves that had started to attack him.

Iri took a slow breath, somewhat surprised that Razz had heard that. Apparently she had forgotten to block him out. I could go back to the saloon if you wish, she then thought to him. It would really help him, not in the least but maybe he would think it would. Then again it could stall the others from finding him and the high council from realizing she was gone. In time they would know, but not right away, not if she left soon.

"Didn't you say these people are going to find me, anyway? I'd rather have protection," Razz sighed, quietly. He kept on playing. "This is probably a game you'd be more interested in, by the way. Nothing supernatural...just going through history..."
