Wyatt sat down at his desk, sniffing slightly. "I would need a bigger tank. And that is the biggest one I could buy," he said, simply. He scooped up the strange machine and a screwdriver, and he began working on it.

Iri raised an eyebrow as she said, "You certainly are not used to life in a palace. If you want it, it can be done." She then took a few steps closer to the male and watched him curiously. "If you need any help in the reptilian department, I'm sure I could help you out." She lifted her hand, palm up and poised like it was craddling something. Moments later a misty figure started forming and solidifying around her until a King Cobra sat comfortably in her hand and coiled about her forearm.

Wyatt eyed the cobra for a moment before turning back to his work. "By all means, if you can find a bigger tank, I am all for it. It needs to be able to fit in this room, however." His current tank fit in one corner of the room.

Iri shook her head still not understanding how the male could seem so daft in the situation. Not from this dimension, she had to remind herself a few times as she watched him. The snake soon vanished, just as quickly as it came. "What is it that you are working on?" She finally asked her as she took up a spot at the corner of his chair.

"A fully fuctional mechanical spider that can take video and pictures. It has artificial intelligence and will have a sort of mind of its own," Wyatt replied. "I am working on the torso now. The legs will come later."

"Have you constructed its mind yet?" Iri asked seeming to take interest in the creature. She was in a sense seeing as she wasn't used to humans being able to come up with such a thing. It was like he was trying to create a living creature of sorts, something that humans had been trying to do for as long as the demon could remember. It was something they seemed to fantasize with movies such as Frankenstein.

"That will be the final piece to this puzzle. I have all the materials for it," Wyatt informed her as he closed up the bottom of the torso and set it down to examine it. "Seems sturdy enough..."

Leaning against the back of Wyatt's chair Iri said, "Are you taught this stuff or is this just something you picked up on?" Seeing as the boy didn't seem to have too much to talk about at the moment she figured it'd be best to say something. If he kept being anti social though, the girl would have no problem leaving, after all, she hadn't been fond of the idea to begin with.

Wyatt glanced back at her. "I taught myself most of what I know when it comes to mechanics. They did not offer a comprehensive technology and mechanics course at my schools back home, unfortunately. It would have been nice to pick up on it early, though." He set the mechanical spider's torso down.

Iri nodded slowly before thinking, This really isn't getting me anywhere. She was starting to wonder if all humans were as unenthused about everything as Wyatt. He wasn't making this easy on her. "Well is there anything else that you would like to talk about or shall I just move on?" She asked him, her voice gaining a hint of irritation in it.

Wyatt gave her a funny sort of look. "Not too friendly, are you?" His monotone voice, which was slightly childlike in tone, had taken on an amused, playful sound. "Perhaps you should stop thinking of us as something different from you. You might have better luck adjusting to us, then." He was a perceptive young man--his owlish eyes rarely blinked.

"It is hard to try and grow accustomed to someone new when you have been hiding for at least a millenia," Iri retorted right back. She knew she wasn't the friendliest person, she never had been to those she did not know. "As for what you are, I cannot see how I could consider you the same as myself when none of you have done nothing to prove such a thing."

"What do you want me to do--develop female parts and create hell on earth?" Wyatt hummed, amused. "Oh, no. I can't do that. Not without draining my life force, anyway. If you cannot start to see us as being on the same plane, without powers considered, then I do not think my dear Razzy will be so happy here. He will grow miserable, coil up into an emotional shell and never venture out."

A grimace came to Iri's face as she said, "You are just like your cousin aren't you?" Her eyes narrowed slightly as she stood straight once again. "I only view those on the same plane as me in terms of relationships. Once must prove themselves in order to obtain such a status and critisizing me is not going to get you there." It was like taking care of little squaklings which was another task that the demon couldn't stand. Childish, was the only real word that came to mind at such thought and scenarios.

And Wyatt was indeed childish. He was always childish--he would never, ever act his age. He clapped. "Such a noble speech. I am not criticizing you. I am playing around. It is something you should try sometime." He wagged a finger at her, looking like a peeved librarian. "You should loosen up."

Iri opened her mouth to say something before a light pink color rose over the bridge of her nose and she closed it again. Watching the boy for a moment she finally said, "If I loosen up we lose." At least that's how it always had been. Iritana Hinapouri, high general to one of the most powerful demon families. If she ever relaxed she would miss something and that would cause them to lose one thing or another. She had been relaxed when her Sire had died and she wasn't willing to make that mistake again.

"There is no need for you to be so stressed and high-strung all the time," Wyatt chided, semi-gently. "With so many people here, and Razz being so fervently protected, now by both you and Momo, another high-grade demon, you can relax every once in a while. I'm sure Razz himself wouldn't want you to be so worried all the timed, either."

Iri placed her hand on her forehead momentarily as she tried to keep her cool. Blowing up at one of Razz's friends wouldn't do her any good. "It is sad that my reputation hasn't travelled as far as to your kind," she muttered frustratedly. She then took a slow breath before placing that hand on her hip. "It's not this place that I am worried about, it is those that will soon come to know of Rasputin's existance."

"I am aware of that. At the moment, Momo is with him, by order of Tzal...like my cousin, I have a connection with Momo, so I can tell where he is. He belongs to our family." This was something Momo had not mentioned beforehand...that he belonged to Tzal and Wyatt's family. "He was with me until just a few months ago, and then I sent him over to Tzal."

Iri's eyes narrowed cautiously as she watched the male. That was a detail she was unaware of. She did not know that Momo had a similar fate to her own. "Though Momo may be old I do not know if he is experienced enough to deal with what may come." It was almost like she was trying to make excuses for why she was how she was, which in a sense could be but she had never been the type to truly relax and it was something that she did not know how to do.

"He is calm and complacent most of the time, but make him truly angry and he will not stop until he's gotten his revenge. He has terrible powers...but he has too big of a heart to use them unless he absolutely needs to," Wyatt informed her, quietly. "And if you need to learn how to relax, you should speak to Algernon...he is the king of goofing off and relaxing."

Iri was going to have to keep in mind that Momo may be more help than he let on to being, at least most of the time. "I am not sure if that makes me want to meet this other friend of yours at this point," she said with a smirk knowing that what she was saying was actually the truth for a change. She may not know how to relax but lying was something she was very good at.

"He must be more interesting than me, for he can control his powers," Wyatt commented offhandedly. It seemed he had trouble controlling his powers, and couldn't get anything to work most of the time. He would need training. "Wish I could shapeshift."

"As long as one is willing to work on their powers then here would be the best place to do it," Iri informed the male. "This dimension is more forgiving than yours when it comes to them. There are also many training facilities and trainers here that would be more than willing to help you out seeing as you are a friend to their Lord."

"I suppose I'll work on them, then...this is the only type I've mastered." Wyatt flicked his fingers at his shadow, which in turn began to wiggle. It then hopped up off of the floor, gaining its own shape. It had reddish, pupil and cornea-less eyes. "Shadow puppetry..." This was Momo's signature power, and it was a rare and curious one. He could hide in shadows, as well.
