Iri sighed and watched as the boy left. She was not used to this. A demon of her age should be able to scare him no problem, but it seemed that ever since he left the saloon he wasn't. She lay back in his bed so that her head rested on his pillow and against his head board, her knees crossed as she picked at the material of her dress. After last night's encounter with those cats she wasn't about to wander around again, she would just wait there.

After about ten minutes, Razz slipped out of the shower. He opened his bathroom door slightly and only extended an arm out, to grab his clothes from the dresser. After another two minutes or so, he stepped out of the bathroom, fully clothed, running a brush through his hair. He looked a little more awake, now. He sat on the side of his bed, brushing through his hair to get knots out. He'd brushed his teeth while he was in the bathroom.

"You humans are quite odd," Iri said as she seemed to show no interest in what he was doing and yet she was taking in every detail of it. Humans were the one creatures that she didn't really know all that well, she had spent centuries in just about every other species, just never humans. A part of her thought it was a cruel joke that she was stationed on this desolate planet and dimension but there really wasn't anything she could do about it.

Razz shrugged, an amused grin making its way onto his face. "I guess so..."

He perked up when he glanced at the clock. "Uh...we should get going. Or I'm going to be late for the bus." He'd missed the bus twice this year already. He couldn't afford to miss it a third time, or his parents would be furious. He walked over to the opposite side of the room and grabbed his messenger bag, slinging it over his shoulder.

A bus? Iri had heard humans say this word many times and yet she was never been able to figure out what this 'bus' was. She didn't respond though, she just did her usual vanishing act, the opal ring on the dresser gained its purple veins, they were pulsating and glowing once again. It was almost as if she was still there in person but rather just in a smaller form. She still had her basic senses, that didn't change, she just couldn't move or react on her own.

Razz eyed the ring before sighing and picking it up. He slipped it onto his right hand, ring finger of course, which would move around more often than his left hand. He was right-handed. He shook his hair out, just once, and headed out of his room. Once he descended the stairs, noting that his parents weren't up yet, he stepped outside, walking out to the edge of the street. Traffic was already starting up. His bus was usually here on time, so he hoped the traffic wouldn't be a problem.

Once Razz put the ring on its size shifted to fit him more snuggly that it had before. When he ran his hand through his hair Iri cringed saying, "Oh that's so gross." She didn't like the dampness, but her words were not actually spoken, it was more of her talking to herself. Being on his finger though allowed her to see everything that was going on. She could see the bustling traffic but she was used to it though it wasn't as heavy as near her old deserted saloon.

After a few minutes of waiting, the dreary, gaudy yellow school bus pulled up to where he was and opened its doors. Razz stepped inside and made his way to the middle of the bus, where he took a seat. He was one of the first stops of the day. There were only three other students who got on the bus earlier than he did.

Well this thing is much less spectacular than many humans make it out to be. It always seems to be so important yet it is rather drab looking, Iri thought to the boy. More than likely she was going to annoy him with these thoughts, but it did help her learn if he responded. From what she saw there were bench-like seats covered in a material that was leather in apppearance, they were big enough for multiple people and held no safety harnesses. They were mass transportation units and yet they were very odd, no special commodities.

"It's not all that spectacular..." Razz muttered quietly, eyes fixed on the scenery passing by outside of his window. The other students were crowded in the back of the bus, so they were out of earshot. "Do I have to speak to respond to you, or can I just think it?"

Thinking works just fine, Iri thought to the boy. Your race makes such a big deal about these things and yet they seem rath inconvienient if anything. The rats are right, your kind really is quiet odd and running about it rather dispicable areas. The demoness then sighed as she more or less relaxed for what seemed to be a long day ahead of her. Of course she could leave at any point in time but that would defeat the purpose of this learning experience.

Razz stared out of the window, still half-asleep. Normal buses are a little better than these. These ugly yellow ones are just for kids, to take them to school. He obviously felt a little strange about thinking things as a way of speaking, but he seemed curious about it.

You beings still care far too much for them, Iri thought back in her usual bored tone. Now let me look out the window, I wish to see the world that I have been dealing with from a distance. Even now she wasn't sure why she was going along with this human, she normally wouldn't, normally she would have just let him leave the saloon and she would never see him again. This confused her though, she could normally control her actions very well, but not this time.

Razz sighed wearily and lifted his hand up to rest it on the window. They'd passed the suburban areas and had entered some dense city area. The saloon was nowhere near this metropolis-esque part of the city...so it might be foreign to her, Razz reasoned.

You build using such unstable materials, and so close together, Iri htought as the pulsating purple veins all seemed to move closer to the window. Is you kind trying to bring about its own end? There were so many odd things though she could gather that this place was more of the human complexes, like their village. I will admit that you do seem more advance than others that I have seen but you are also the most foolish and naive of all. That goes without saying.

It's actually pretty stable stuff, Razz amended, keeping his hand on the window. These buildings are built to resist earthquakes and natural disasters. We haven't had a major accident here in more than a century. And that's a lot of time for humans...

Iri started laughing, what he had told her proved her thoughts on humans. My dear Rasputin do not be so foolish to think that what your kind tells you is correct. Your superiors are just as foolish as your pesants. She then sighed, she knew it was probably impossible to explain such a thing to any human. They did not like believing that anything about their 'superior race' could ever be wrong. I have been to many places and times, do not tall me that what you build with is stable.

It's safe for mostly anything that might happen here, Razz retorted wearily. We're nowhere near the coast. No tidal waves or tsunamis. No volcanoes. The worst we ever get are earthquakes and tornadoes. Maybe a meteor show, once in long while...

He didn't seem like he was awake enough to argue too much.

Iri was having it with this human and she appeared in a ghostly mirage before him. The others couldn't see her, only those she wished to see her could. Her normally dark eyes narrowed into a sinister glare as red coloring started to spread from the pupil. "Do not tell me that it's safe. I have seen your kind fall and it are these very things that cause it," though she spoke, the words were much like her appearance, only those she wished could hear it. She then rolled her eyes, she should know better, she knew what it was like arguing with humans. They're all the same.

Nothing is completely safe...I'm well aware of that...it's worked for us for a while, now, and it's the best we have...

Razz leaned his head against the window, resting his cheek on the glass.

The boy did not seemed fazed in the least, nor did he seem concered that the others on the bus may see him. This bothered Iri, he see so detached to everything that she did. "You disconcern and your kind are such a bore, perhaps I should shake things up a bit?" A devious smirk came to the girl's face as her ghostly appearance sat on top of the seat before the boy.

Rasputin put his head in his hands, seemingly irritated. Then you won't get to see how a human school works. And this journey wouldn't have yielded anything for you.

"This may be but your kind is much more entertaining when there is ruckus afoot, wouldn't you agree? Well of course you wouldn't, it is your own kind after all and for some reason you all hold some sort of odd attachment to one another even if they are complete strangers," Iri sighed then before looking out the window. "That creature, for existance," she said nodding toward a dog that was being walked. "It is being pulled around town against its will. Shall we see what happens when such anguish is set free and manifested in its own form?" Her eyes then rolled back to the boy, it was almost like she was daring him. The bus then came to a stop at a light, this would give her more than enough time as the creature and its owner went to cross the street before them.

If you're going to hurt someone, then hurt someone who deserves it, Razz grumbled, eyes half-open. Animals are better than humans. For instance...

He glanced at the front of the bus--it had just stopped. A very snobbish-looking girl had just sat down, after having her lackeys force a smaller, less 'popular' girl out of her seat. They had nearly dragged her out of her seat. That girl torments everyone in my school...makes them feel inferior. She has a terrible personality and makes everyone feel unsafe...not only that, she's been accused of, and probably has, er...slept with a teacher. To up her grade. I think she's much more deserving of something, if you're going to do something...

Razz paused. Don't kill her or anything, if you're going to do something...death is very much frowned upon in our world. And I don't think you'd want the possibility of you being discovered to increase.

"Mmm, yes you are correct, my being discovered would be bad but that does not say that a show of power would be giving myself away," Iri chimmed, her voice sounding very amused with the situation. The dog had been long forgotten as she watched the girl. One such as herself would surely fall from a very high horse, she thought wickedly as her facial expression matched it.

"Now didn't you say that what I would do would ruin this little endevor on going to this 'school' that you are so persistant on going to?" She asked as she was double checking what the consequences would be. Her mind was reeling though, so many different things could be done to this girl, from something very small that only would bother her or something much larger that would sure to get the reaction she had been hoping to get from Rasputin.
