I liked parts of it, but the end was so anticlimactic. I mean, really.

I liked Jaspar in the books, but hate him in the movies. I imagined him as more suave and chill, with a little bit of that attitude he has in the movie. But I totally imgined him with longer and nicer hair. :x

lmao. I have Breaking Dawn, but have yet to read it. ><;; Got it the morning it came out because I was staying at friends that went to it at midnight when it came out, so I just got it while I was there. lol But yeah, I've still never read it. I wont read it until I re-read the other 3, and who knows if that'll ever happen. I'd have to borrow them from my friend. But from what i've heard from everyone, they all hated the last book.

Jasper's hair seemed fitting to me. xD I don't know. The clips I have seen of him in the movies just seem fitting for my idea of his character.

To be fair, I found all of the books in the Twilight series to be fanfiction-like. She was consistent. J.K. Rowling, on the other hand, made her last few books too much like fanfiction. Her writing style changed drastically and all of her characters began acting out of character. If there was a book that I wanted to burn, it would be the final Harry Potter book.

We were talking about Twilight earlier, but I don't think that you missed too much.
The forums have been pretty slow today.

I've not read the books I must admit because my brother's girlfriend has them and I was told by several people they're poorly written. I only saw the first film and I was extremely disappointed by the pixie. It's not so bad if I pretend they're mutants.

The last HP book was so-so. I couldn't really devote myself to plow through it like I had all of the last ones. I think the sixth book was great, but there was so much going on that I was kind of upset with it at the same time. Like she tried to squeeze a ton of stuff into it, and then something was just off.

If I had to recommend a good book series right now, I would say try The Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica series by James A. Owen. He's originally a comic book writer, but he does really well with actual stories and he does his own illustration work in the books as well. Really good stuff.

And the Percy Jackson series was pretty good too.

Well, right now my recommended books would be the Darkest Powers trilogy by Kelley Armstrong, although I was a little disappointed in the last book since it did not really seem to be the "end". xD

A great new writer is Kristen Cashore though. Graceling and Fire were really good books.

I enjoyed reading the Twilight books for the most part, but that was before everyone started making a huge deal about them.

My housemate read the first one. His mom gave it to him and said "You'll like this, it has vampires in it."

He wanted to stab himself when he was done. He couldn't just leave the book unfinished, because he's weird like that, but he hated reading it so much.

I don't like Harry Potter either. I have some of the books on my bookshelf but that's because they were my Grandma's.

I would only be able to recommend book with murder and death in them. I have a thing for crime books.
