The kids who revealed him at our basket ball game looked like they were trying so hard to stifle laughter. I swear...that mascot costume had better be retired. It was the worst idea ever to try and get spirit in the school.

My school colors were Maroon and gold. While they're almost complementary colors I didn't like my school so I don't like that combination.

I don't know how they got that person to even be inside the costume!!! that had to be nuts!!

@Cyndel It's less to do with the colors than the association for me. I didn't have the best memories in school so when I see maroon and gold I think of school.
