Hmm... de-clawed cats.... so not natural.

I had problems with my last cat, which were easily solved by simply having him neutered, and then being a little creative with tin foil, and outside privileges. And if it hadn't the furthest i would go is to get caps for his claws. THAT'S IT!

Usually getting your cat de-clawed is mostly just damaging to their paws and stability. As well as making it impossible for them to live without the constant help from a human.
It's only in rare cases, that further injuries are incurred from getting them de-clawed. Though the process itself is VERY painful to them. Feel a cats paws after the claws are removed... there is nothing there anymore. Nothing. Just a little fat muscle and fur. -shudders- They pull out the whole nail structure... nerves are ripped from their endings.. everything is simply removed.

Claw caps are awesome, they come in many colors too. It's like nail polish... for your kitties. Haha! Which is another way of applying the rubber... in a nail polish like form. I prefer the pre-made little rubber nail sheaths myself though.

There's no real reason behind my fear of spiders
