it is relaxing, and it makes you feel accomplished :D

Crocheting is definitely super easy. I've never tried knitting though so I can't compare the difficulty.

I can make a chain, but I have NO clue how to turn the chain into anything.

I started off crocheting, it is easier, but I think it's harder on the hands. I ended up having to take so many breaks to kill the hand cramps.

ew, hand cramps are the WORST

haha that's too bad. The only tempting thing about learning crochet is amigurumi. but crochet makes me retarded.

I think it's all in how you hold the needle. Its not really so bad if you're not gripping so hard, but if you need to get in tighter stitches and stuff, then its harder on the hands, yeah :yes:

Its kind of the same with writing. If you relax your grip on whatever it is that you're holding, you can do it for longer periods of time without hurting yourself. :yes:

Especially for a test or an essay that you have to write in class. I didn't learn about the grip thing until my senior year of high school when it was too late and I'd cramped my hands a million times from AP timed writes.

I don't go to youtube for anything. I never even think to xD

I still write regularly. I keep a journal so I write every day. Sometimes it's not so bad, but others, I can write pages and pages of stuff at a time. It depends on how I'm feeling and what happened that day.

man, the closest thing I've ever been able to keep as a 'journal' would be my blog dedicated to second life fashion >.>

I keep a journal, but it's all typed.
The only things I have been writing lately have been a schedule book and language practices.
