Yeah I hope she is too.... She just had her colon removed Tuesday night, and she was hurting a lot yesterday and I haven't heard from her again. I'm sure I'm just being a worry wart. >.>

xD Oh no, I'm not that social. I'm just usually out with my room mate running errands, but today we woke up late and he had to go out without me to deal with a few things at his parents house.

She had her colon REMOVED?! =O.o= I didn't know they could even do that!

Yes, she had ulcerative colitis, and her colon was in really bad shape and they couldn't get the colitis under control with medications, so they took it out. They're using part of her small intestine to make a pouch that can be used like a colon so she can still go to the bathroom. If not for that she'd be stuck with a colonostefy (the hell if I spelled that right) bag for the rest of her life. She still has to wear one for 10 weeks while the pouch heals, but yeah. >.> She'll get to have that taken off and closed up when the pouch can be properly attached.

Pickles: >.> Yeah she's been in pain for a while. Though...her colon being in such bad shape is kind of her own fault. She was bleeding for 3 years before she ever told anyone about it, because she's terrified of hospitals, so she let it get way out of hand before anything was done. x.x;
Err well maybe it was 2 years. I dunno, it was a long time.
