Gosh, I hope there isn't something wrong with my laptop... I just thought it was mene that was making it run slow, but I've been on the desktop for a while now, and it's still sorta iffy when I try to muck around on it...

No, it's not that. I don't know what it is, it's just running slow, like molassas...

I noticed on my laptop this new event tool bar does eat a bit of memory so it makes the machine run harder.

Ah. That makes far more sense than just...eating crepe paper.

As for the laptop problem, yes, I would suggest checking the fan. Also, if that checks out, try rebooting it - if it has been running for a long period of time, then it could be suffering from a memory leak. That is common with computers that have been online for long periods of time, especially.

Also, it never hurts to do a malware scan.

Yeah, I tried rebooting a few times earlier. But what ever it was it seems to be fine now. A fact which cheers me a bit.

haha it's flattering you think so, but I don't think I'm that good. There are plenty of artists that make me wonder why I even bother ^^;

I <3 squids, but I might <3 eating squids more :x also, staedtler pencils are the only pencils I'll use. For Christmas I went on a huge splurge and bought myself the pencil set I wanted, and a matching pen set, and the marker set... and still only spent about 25 dollars. It was a beautiful moment for me, I think I slept with those suckers in my bed that night xD

aw :( you know I pretty much taught myself how to draw. I started with some pretty hideous work of my own. I just took a lot of time and started with copying other pictures. Not like paper on top of it, just observing it and trying to duplicate it. It taught me a lot.

Yeah, I must admit, I do better when I have something to work from. Still not going to be displaying any of it any time soon, though.
