I disappeared for about 2 days over memorial day weekend because I had to go visit my dad. >.<

I applied for a bajillion jobs over the weekend. And on Sunday... no wait, I filled out applications that day too. D: But hopefully I'll at least get one callback. *crosses fingers*

What kinds of jobs were you applying for Twethereal?

Thank you fuyumi. ^_^ I have a really good feeling about one of them, but we'll see. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but I want a job so bad. Twethie needs a new computer! xD

@zigbig: Just about anything as long as it's part-time. I'm especially looking to get some retail experience. It seems to be really important to a lot of people. I've only ever worked at a movie theater before and it's out of business (which pretty much means no work references).

Yeah, I've been applying to a lot of jobs as well. Retail does seem to be something quite popular. That and customer service. ^^; I've only really worked as a cashier before.

@Twe: Kinny has mostly been watching AFV. 8D Also buying stuff for peeps.

The problem is that there might be only one job opening at a certain place with maybe somewhere around 50 or so people applying for it. It's been a pain in the butt. D:

I've been applying to things in NYC myself... Competition is tough. Thousands of other people are applying to some of the same things as me. T_ T

I am doing good. I'm tiered and my ankle hurts but i am good.

Well I live somewhere boring as well but I just graduated college and I'm looking for a career now. ^^;

I used to live in New York City. I'm in Boston now.

If I had taken a full course load I would have graduated this year with most of my friends. But I took a year off to get my priorities straight and all and I'm taking classes at a slow and steady pace. It might take me longer to reach my goal, but I think I've decided that in the end, I'll be happier for it. I stress out easily.

And I just got an email back from Macy's. It says:

We have carefully reviewed your skills and qualifications. Unfortunately, we do not have an appropriate position that matches your experience and skill set.

Which I think is their polite way of saying "Who are you trying to kid?" But that's okay. I was kinda hoping I wouldn't get that one anyway. I'd rather have a less formal environment. xD

I think that is true of many places right now with the way the economy is. I know here in Michigan it's pretty bad. Which is why I'm glad to be in school but it takes paying off student loans more difficult.

I'm looking for a salary job. I work three jobs, but nothing full time.
