if it isn't too expensive, i wonder if i could rent a shop spot at the renaissance festival some year, and after making a bunch of paintings (mostly fantasy, obviously) try to sell them there. Then I could call myself Lady Amaitae and dress up as an elf (cuz Amaitae is an elf...) and get away with it! :D

oh gawd lawl XD I looked up the ren fest's vendor application and this is at the very bottom of it:

We have several categories that we are NOT accepting any new applicants in at this time. They are as follows: food/drink, face painters, palm and tarot card readers, henna and body tattoos, clothiers, foot wear, hats and headwear, hair braiding, candles/wax items, weaponry, games, jewelry, leather, and imported merchandise.

what does that leave us with? Artists. I think that's the only people they're letting in now XD

it's $1500 to get a shop though, + $250 if you have electricity in it, and a $50 application fee that isn't refundable even if they don't accept you to be a vendor
