an OC for a friend. we're doing an art trade where she does a watercolor illustration of Link, and i do a painting of her OC. Been planning it since April, but both of us are really busy, so we're now just getting around to it

just stay off tumblr and the obvious sites that would have spoilers. i have to stay off reddit cuz jerks will plant a spoiler in what seems to be an innocent thread.

it's pretty fun so far. i spent yesterday evening drawing out the composition all nice on my panel. Now i just have to remember my process with the Link and Malon painting, and I should be fine. Her character has a mask though, and I had so much hell with the perspective on it X_X I'm trying to draw her taking the mask off, and... ugh... i have no practice with perspective.

Kat. I may have you lock me out of tumblr. because my willpower with staying of tumblr is sooo weak.

yea wings, you need to get locked out. i'm fine, since work blocks tumblr (which is weird, cuz it didn't used to and it doesn't block facebook nor reddit)

it's hard, but definitely a fundamental element that needs to be in your arsenal...

and i'm stuck in the middle XD i think they're weird, but i do like how they make it look ghostly. i really wish i had the obakemono CI, i could do some awesome stuff to this avy then. i keep saving up for it, then blowing the gold on something else. one of my friends really wanted to get the Hawtsome CI, so i blew the 3000 gold i saved for it oi.... i'll make it this time! i swear!

that keeps happening with me with dryad's hollow. though admittedly it's never on sale so it's not too much of a problem.

also, do we know if the marketplace is fixed yet?

I never use my obakemono. I was excited to buy it, then I stopped using it.

kat, if you don't use your obakemono and don't mind parting with it, i'd really really like to buy it... it's like the one CI i'm dying to get and would definitely use. >_> just saying.

i might let you have my dryad's hollow wings... i only use it for the backgrounds (which yea, are nice... hence why i'm using it now)
