speaking of drinking. I went wine tasting today. then had this winerita thing. a very nice peach slushy with alcohol. the perfect drink for walking around outside in this heat.

omg, I haven't kept you up to date on this? possibly because I can't keep up. Matt's not going to college in the fall. He refused to go to any of the school's he got accepted into. he waited last minute to do things, got stubborn, I don't know. he is staying to work part time at my dad's company for the semester, then he's planning on going to UT-austin. not that he's done anything about that either.

I've learned that the only trait my whole family (minus my mom) has in common is stubborness. the fact that we need to be right or prove the other wrong. it is also the main reason I don't get along with my dad that well.

I don't feel sleepy anymore and strangely, everyone else is still awake so I guess I am too.

I mean, it's very useful as long as we're not discussing things we think we know. the fact that we need to investigate the truth of things. or have the last word in an argument. just...its best if we don't talk during long car rides.

my family is very good about being quiet in the car now that we're not little kids. it helps that I turn on my ipod or computer and my mom is always asleep or half way there.

I think it's similar. I don't remember .hack as well but i think the same basic idea is the same

I like unique and specific details to characters. I've really been getting into doing that with my character. of course, one has to be relevant with them and brief, but interesting. I hate when I get a page of oh so interesting details that stop feeling like details after one paragraph.

haha yeah. it's really hard to be that specific without going overboard sometimes.

it seriously is! I think I'm getting the hang of it. The trick is to know everything about your character, but only write what you need at the moment and suck it up if a fact never has room in the story.

at least its only 1. it'd be more annoying if you were trying to sleep right now.
