It is also a problem because the people watching the same event will 'remember' contradicting details

yes, but it's expected. you can tell it's a rehearsed lie when everyone tells too close of a story. you just pick the average of the gunshots people hear fired or from the calmest witness who was closest to the event.

Still, it causes frustration. I've talked to a cop about it.

yep. I read two articles today. one was good and very short. the other was longer and I wanted to strangle myself with shoelaces (which I do not own).

yeah, it's one of those things where you've gotten to the point where you want to see them because you haven't seen them in awhile
