it's nice compositional-y, I like the motion in the swirls.
Things to watch out for: the line of the buttocks going into the thigh. That's a bit odd and not anatomically sound. Watch how far the hair goes into the face, it's too close right now. The stretched foot would look more dynamic/interesting if it wasn't in profile (twist it a little into a 3/4?) Are you missing an ear? It looks like the hair grew over it. Take the volume of the ear into account when placing hair that goes over it.

thanks.
yeah, I want to put clothes on her more, especially around the butt, but I can't decide on any costume I like since my original thumbnail sketch was without clothes. Half way through drawing it, I decided that she's creating the universe, but what does a universe creater wear? Hm...interesting on the foot. I always draw the feet the same way in that pose. . and I know the hair starts wrong, though some of it is details on the skin that blend into the hair. It's too faint to tell right now.

maybe try making an avy here that would be a "universe creator" and go from there? you could get some good ideas that way.

That's a good idea. Usually I make characters first then avis from them, not the other way though! XD

okay, i'm almost done with the drawing. one last layer. wanna see when i'm done? gonna make a better photo for the actual contest though
---------- Post added 05-06-2013 at 01:39 AM ----------
if you wanted to see a quick snapshot of it from my phone, this is what it looks like. That isn't my official submitting photo though. I'll get a better photo/scan of it for that, probably tomorrow if i'm not too busy with my sculpture riff raff.

well...the sex part is easy to talk about, but I have very little to say about lassez-faire. I did finally find the text I want to use for sex though. I forgot Journal of an Airman is basically an entire coming out poem.

I know that. but i hate writing about those kinds of things. it's in all the modernist texts, but no where specific. It just is.
whaaa? how are they yuck?

hm. can't really help you then. just talk about how it relates to modernism as a whole then.
I have never met a grapefruit I liked. And they are definitely more sour than oranges, tangelos, and clementines
