it's a sci-fi. More mystery than anything else. Like, I seriously can't guess what new twist will be in the next episode. there's some horror elements, but more in the way that Doctor Who is creepy than some horror movie.

it's bloody brilliant! Right now it's my favorite show the syfy channel has ever played.

I'm sure it's because it's based on a stephen king book and now I want to read it too.

yeah but things based off books aren't always good.

I don't get the feeling that the series is really based off the book, but rather inspired by it. It's one book, but the show is in it's 3rd season.

sometimes that's not bad. you avoid cliff hangers that way.

I've seen some of Merlin. Boring and lame.

It's an Arthurian legend remake. I really don't see me finding it boring or lame

obviously it's Arthurian legend. Just, it has such potential for cliche.
